Beautiful French Country Triple Armoire. both large doors open to reveal hanging areas open from top to bottom; center door opens to reveal an area with one shelf in the center. And a bottom shelf. Then of course there are drawers in the bottom center section. All hardware is intact and in good working order. Doors and drawers all open smoothly and properly. You will see in the pic there are two small splits in the wood in the top panel of the right hand door. This is not damage, just due to age. I estimate this piece to be from the early part of the 1900's. The bolts and brackets holding it together are quite old. It breaks down into about a dozen pieces for moving. French Triple Armoire 1900's Antique China Curio Display Cabinet. Carved of walnut in France in the early 1900's. This triple armoire was adapted to a china or curio display cabinet. Artistic hand detailing is beautiful. The old finish is very well preserved. There are minor mars at the edges various irregularities from age and a long mar on the lower left side. See photos. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its antique patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The center door lock works. Side door keys are handles only, those locks do not work. Interior mirrors, adjustable glass shelves and lights are later. Side doors have shaped and beveled glass on this European furniture, which can be disassembled for easier moving. French Empire 1900 Antique Armoire or Closet. Bronze Mounts. Expertly hand crafted in France about 1900. A classical Empire design mirrored armoire has original shaped and beveled mirror doors. Mahogany with flame burl panels. The finish is in excellent condition. There are minor mars, irregularities and shrinkage separations from age, see photos. Bronze mounts and pineapple finials are original on this antique European furniture, door lock and key work. The interior is empty. It could be fitted with shelves or a closet pole if desired. This gracefully arched wardrobe or closet can be disassembled for moving. Interior woods are oak and mahogany, depth inside is 16 1/2. Vintage French Armoire with Beveled Mirror brought from France early 1940's Purchased in store this beautiful armoire from a lady whose mother bought it in France late 1930's. Ear;y 1940's. In very good conditions, very heavy and made out of threee parts: the top part which is hand carved for decorations purposes, the actual armoire with beveled glass and carving around and the bottom part which is large drawer. The armoire has not been refurbished, has normal wear, original handles, knobs and missing the key. Availalble in our store in Burbank for viewing. Only local pick-up but we can help with shipping working with the buyer to find a shiiping method. We prefer the buyer to make the arrangements!

This French walnut armoire or wardrobe from around 1900 has a magnificent hand carved shell motif crest. The original warm brown finish is extremely well preserved on this superior quality furniture from France. Waxed and buffed. All that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Diamond matched panels and curved sides are beautiful. The key is a handle only.
