Antique primitive african wooden box with sliding lid! Yoruba tribe of Nigeria!
An insanely cool antique primitive hand carved wooden box made by the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. Africa. It is very old. There is the remainder of a wax seal on one end. I would guess turn of the century or earlier. The item is 8" long x 4.5" deep x 3" tall. It is clearly hand made and adorned. You can't fake this kind of old. When you hold it you feel the history.
