This is a wonderful example of a Pokot headrest from Kenya. Beautifully big and substantial proportions. Has exceptional. Simple form. Well balanced, symmetrical. The wood is very attractive African hardwood with blonde colour and dark core. Quite heavy at 450 grams. Smooth and soft from use. Has leather strap between the two uprights. In great condition.
