Selling this pair of antique Victorian style salt and pepper shakers. Bottom is marked heirloom plate with the number 395. Shakers stand 5" tall. Research done on them has indicated they are likely to be late 1800's in age. And unknown silver colored material, possibly silver plated. This auction is for a set of beautiful gilt bone china salt and pepper shakers that are in very good condition. Each shaker is marked"Bavaria" on the bottom. A mark that was used before 1871. After 1871, pieces were marked"Bavaria, Germany" Each round top. Square-based shaker is 3-5/8" tall, and measures almost 1-1/2 inches across at their base. These belonged to my 91 year old mother. Who has gone to live in a nursing home. They were previously owned by her grandmother. We are slowly downsizing her things that cannot be used in our home. These have only been in a nonsmoking home. Antique Spongeware Pottery Double Salt & Pepper
A great piece of spongeware or spatterware double salt and pepper shaker. This has been in my collection for 40 years. And I need to slim down my items. In the 1960's and early 1970's Primitives were very popular and I collected granite ware, wood boxes, tins and blue was my color. I tried to collect some of the lovely blues, and well life has changed and so has my color palette. The photo does not pick us the detail well, and I can send more pics if necessary. The spatter patter is especially nice. On this piece, and the tin covers were the original ones to this set. The set measures 2 1/2" x 4" and is in mint condition, no chips, flecks, nicks, or crazing. The piece needs a good home.

This is a beautiful hand painted and signed three piece Salt. Pepper and Toothpick holder made in Japan. It's one of the prettiest sets I've ever seen! The three pieces are done in"Card" shapes, with a diamond for the lidded toothpick holder, a heart for the salt, and a spade for the pepper! They are all made of a fine white porcelain, with hand painted violet flowers and gold trim around the top edges. So pretty! The toothpick holder features a removeable lid, and the salt and pepper still have the original cork stoppers in the bottom. They each stand about two inches in height, and are around an inch in width. The toothpick holder and salt have a small"made in Japan" sticker; and the pepper is actually signed in red on the bottom by the artist who painted this beautiful set! They are all in wonderful vintage ... morecondition, with no chips or cracks that I've found. There is a small area on top of the pepper that feels slightly rough to the touch, and a tiny indentation in the gold on the opposite side of the same piece, although this still has the gold trim in it so I believe it was there when the piece was painted! Antique Bone China Rose Pattern Salt & Pepper Dinner Set RS Prussia Styled

The bottom edges are scalloped and each has a stopper in the bottom. One stopper is cork and one is plastic as can be seen in the pictures. They measure 5 1/2 inches tall and are in EXCELLENT condition. They have been in my family for over 50 years that I know of and have been stored in a china hutch and never used. Antique Vintage Salt and Pepper Shakers Marked 1911
These shakers need to be cleaned as they are dirty. I didn't clean them as I was afraid I would ruin them. There is also a mark on them from a label but it can be removed. There is a pretty big chip on the base of one. The bottom is signed"Xmas 1911 Martie from May. They are 2" tall. The base is 1-1/4" wide, and the middle part is 2-1/2" wide. They both still have corks.

Hello and welcome to my auctions. Up for auction is a sweet figural set of salt& pepper shakers/pots. They are two gentleman with big googly eyes. They are quite the stout pair both wearing balloon style pants. The singing gentleman also plays his dark red mandolin. It matches his brother pipe& newsboy hat. He has a quite the fancy top coat with long tails& buttons& a tie& shoes to match! He has a light green lustre ware balloon pants. His brother is wearing balloon pants in a brown lustre ware& long sleeved blue shirt. Both have red lips, big googly like eyes. chocolate brown one stroke eyebrows. Each has sandy brown hair. Both have 5 pour holes. Photo 7. Incised on the bottom porcelain is their model numbers"8033. hard to read) Germany" is incised on the back bottom. Photos 9& 10. I have washed both& ... moreplaced cork stoppers in them. They are an adorable couple that probably spent part of the day in the Pub! Although this sweet set has no chips. Cracks, or restoration anywhere, there is paint wear mainly on the pipe& the newsboy hat. Th ey measure approximately 2 1/2 inches high. Photo 3. This is an antique vintage pair of porcelain Pheasant salt and pepper shakers. They are very nicely made and they look great. On the bottom they have the original paper tag which has. Japan. They both still have the original cork in the bottom. They are 3 3/8 inches tall. 4 5/8 inches long, and 1 ½ inches semi round at the bottom. They are in very good condition. No cracks. Chips, dents, dings, holes, stains, and no repairs. One of them has a small part on the porcelain coming off on the bottom of it's tail. S/H to the U.S. is 5.00 dollars.
