We have serviced this clock so everything works as it should. Much of the elaborate case is turned out of solid Walnut. It is still in the original shellac finish so is aged in appearance. It retains the original lions' heads and the original Victorian lady's head, as well as the original painted dial that is also in amazing condition for its age, much nicer than you usually see them. The original Ansonia 8 day time and strike movement has been ultrasonically cleaned and is in good running and striking condition.
