After searching the internet we found that this vintage 1970’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Clock is quite rare. Especially in black. It is called a Marina Clock and depicts Angel Fish with air bubbles and plants suspended in persplex(Lucite) panels. The gold gilt base measures 14cm by 18cm(5 3/8” by 7 1/8” and the overall height is 23.5cm(9 ¼” This Aquarium clock is in perfect cosmetic condition without even a scratch to the Lucite or gilded brass case. That is because it has been in its original presentation case since the 1970’s when it was made. Unfortunately, the last time this clock was transported the mechanism was left unlocke and so although we can get this clock to run for a short time it does not stay runnung. The epitome of Art Deco is scene in this fabulous LE COULTRE MANTLE ANNIVERSARY CLOCK fresh from a local estate up for sale! This clock is housed in a brass and glass casing that measures 9 1/4 inches in height and the rectangular base with cornered ends measures 8 1/2 inches in length by 6 1/2 inches in width! This clock is called an"Atmos VI" Number 528 and it was made by a company called: Jaeger-Lecoultre" It is a high end clock that costed a great deal when it was originally made in Switzerland many years ago! The face is white with brass numbers. The inner workings of the clock are all gears and wheels like I tried to show. It is a 15 jewel clock that is unadjusted~~you never have to wind it! The large etched lined pendulum keeps the clock moving and in perfect working time! There is also a little dial under the"6" ... morewhich I am guessing has something to do with keeping perfect time along with the 15 jewel mechanism! Under the"6" is marked: Swiss" as shown! From Past to Presents Vintage Atmos Style Glass Cased Clock made by Kieninger& Obergfell Kundo This is a rare and collectable Atmos style clock with. What looks like, a floating movement. The pendulum swings in a wide arc through the barrel as shown on the photographs. It uses the small current induced in the coil by the magnetic pendulum to switch the power, provided by a'C' cell, to drive the the pendulum through an thereby keep the clock running. This is the two transistor design by Kundo which uses a single sense/motor coil. With this improved design. The electronics is outside of the coil barrel making it easier to maintain. Up for your consideration is this Rare Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos. 1950s, Perpetual Clock Atmos II 519 Vintage mantle clock with rare blue screws. Gold dial. Made in Switzerland. Serial number 58308. Made in 1950s. This type of clock never needs winding; runs on change of temperature. This clock is amazingly clean for a LeCoultre 63 year old clock. Clock with glass cover measures 9.25" x 8.5" x 6.5" Glass is excellent. The case and face show light blemishes, wear, and need a light polishing. Movement looks very clean. The gold plating shows no abuse. The leveling bubble is clear but ... moredoes not center. The clock ran for about an hour and kept good time before it quit. Has a spring sticking out from back of movement near loose chain on a gear. Finish does show wear. We have not attempted to clean anything on this clock for fear of damaging its delicate finish. We will leave that to its new owner. Lever will be locked for shipping. All time pieces we list are pre-owned and old. Vintage, or antique. Up for auction is a Wonderful Swiss LeCoultre + Cie Gold Plated Atmos Clock. Circa 1950s. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 9" W- 8" D- 6.5" This is Calibrated at 526-5. The serial number is 81554. The Case: The gold plated case is in excellent physical condition. There are no breaks. Cracks, etc. The case does have a few areas of what I would consider very minor scratches, nothing that I would consider distracting. The gold plate has a nice established patina. The Dial/Face: The dial/face is in good condition. The dial/face and hands are clean and the numberals have an established patina. There are some areas with dirt/soil and imperfections. Again. Nothing that I would consider distracting. The Glass: The glass is clean and intact. There are no breaks. Chips, etc. The clock retains its original sticker on the ... moretop. The Door: The door is missing the small knob to open and close it properly. The door has"LeCoultre + Cie" in black lettering on it. It measures 9 1/4 inches in height. 7 3/4 inches in length and 6 inches in width. This clock literally runs on air! It was first produced in 1939. And by looking at the serial number on the top, which is#215214, this particular model dates to the 1960's! It is super heavy and keeps accurate time! It receives energy to run from the atmospheric pressure and the temperature! I read that this clock can run without human intervention for up to 600 years! Up for auction is a Wonderful Swiss Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Clock with its original styrofoam packing material. Original owners' manual and box. Circa 1970s. I was told that this clock has never been used and from the looks of the clock, I believe this to be true, though I can't verify this for sure. Please see the photos of the white plastic protection piece, 2 stickers on the top part of the case, the piece of cardboard beneath the disc pendulum and the small piece of foam rubber that protects the glass door. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 9" W- 8" D- 6.5" Model 528-8. The Case: The gold plated case is in near mint condition. I can not see any scratches. Scrapes and/or any flaws. Its absolutely beautiful. The Dial/Face: The diall/face is in near perfect condition. I can not see any flaws with the ... moredial/face. In the photo of the dial/face. There are shadows so please do not think there are any problems with the dial/face. The Glass: The glass is clean and intact. There are no breaks. Up for auction is an original Jaeger-LeCoultre ATMOS perpetual motion clock with carrying case and operation and care guide. From the identifying marks. It is Caliber#526-5, Serial#93674, which places the date of manufacture around the 1950s. The clock is designed to run continuously from small changes in room temperature, but this unit requires repair and overhaul, as it stops running after less than 24 hours of operation. LeCoultre Atmos Clock. Tuxedo Model, Serial Number 63075, Runs Well, Guaranteed This Atmos clock comes from a clock repairman's estate. It has been running in our shop for more than two weeks. This is a caliber 522 Atmos dating from about 1954. The case is in very good condition. Most of the gold plating is intact. The protective lacquer finish shows some wear and accumulation of patina. But the lacquer can be removed and redone if the buyer so desires. The dial is in excellent condition as are the hands. The beveled glass sides and top are excellent with no chips. All screws still show their original bright bluing. The clock measures 7" wide X 9 high X 5-1/4 deep" It weighs 9 lbs prior to packing. There are leveling feet on the bottom of the clock(photo 11) But unlike later models, this clock has no built-in bubble level to ... moreaid in getting the clock plumbed. However, we will include a small bubble level if the buyer wants one. Just ask us for it. The clock must be level to run. Shipping is the buyer's choice of USPS Parcel Select. FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail. International shipping is Priority Mail International via eBay's Global Shipping Program. The clock will be insured for the purchase price and the buyer must sign for it. Many international buyer's have their eBay purchases shipped to a reshipper/ freight forwarder in the USA and we are glad to do that. We have often done that, especially with Asian buyers. The paper label is ... morestill intact on the top and the lock mechanism on the bottom works. The lacquer finish shows some wear and expected losses. It is in a locked position currently but when the lock is released the pendulum does rotate slowly. It does run and keeps time. It is being offered in"as found" condition.
