Antique HENRY MARC FRENCH Ormolu SEVRES Porcelain PUTTI CLOCK Cherub Brass Gilt Offered for sale is this beautiful antique French gilt metal clock. It was made by Henry Marc of Paris. The putti are taking birds from the nest at their feet. The open cage sits next to them. The two Sevres style porcelain panels also feature putti or cherubs with birds. I am not a clock expert so please bear with me. The clock has a pendulum that that is numbered"347" the same as the movement- so I think it's original. The key was made in England so I doubt that is original. I gently wound the clock a little(without the pendulum installed) and it runs. But obviously too fast. It chimes on the hour. I hung the pendulum where I thought it should go and the clock did not run very long. Please email me if you have any specific questions, and I'll ... moredo my best to answer them. SIZE: The clock is 12.75 inches tall. And approximately 13.5 inches wide. It weighs 11 pounds 3 ounces. The clock face is just under 3.5 inches diameter. CONDITION: There are some rubs and tarnish to the finish. I haven't tried cleaning the clock. I don't see any repairs or damage. In the photos. You can see what looks like some"separations" in the metal but it is not damage- some pieces were cast separately. Please see the close up pictures for the best description of the cosmetic condition. Rare Bronze Mounted Imari Porcelain Clock Set ~ Samuel Marti. ~ Japanese/ French- Circa 1890 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A very large. Rare and impressive original antique clock set. The bodies are stunning Japanese Imari porcelain mounted with finely gilded bronze. Candelabra are formed from a matching pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars of inverted pear form covered with a high domed lid. The clock is housed in a matching, but larger jar. The body is beautifully decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze rust-red enamel and gilt highlights. The vases sit on heavy gilded bronze bases with scrolled feet. The clock is surmounted by a winged mythical creatures and has a pair of lions mask handles. Candelabra are surmounted by four elegantly scrolled branches. The gilding is in lovely fresh and bright condition which ... morecontrasts beautifully with the Imari porcelain. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. It is mounted in a heavy gilt bronze surround and is covered with convex glass. The French movement is by Samuel Marti and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running! Condition of the case is excellent. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The Imari porcelain is also in excellent condition with the usual slight wear to the overglaze gilt decoration. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the hole made for the back door that isn't quite covered by rim of the door, this isn't noticeable. The dial is also in excellent condition just with no damage. Nice antique(c 1894) pink pansy floral porcelain clock with the clock mechanisms by Kroeber of NY. The clock is basically working. Has the key and pendulum, but we cannot say how well the timing is working. It may need a little tuneup. Clock is being sold as is. Pickup always available. The porcelain base has uniform and heavy crazing. A few spots of disocluration but no chips or hairlines. The glaze is still strong and vibrant. The glass face is missing. A glorious and early original antique French clock set featuring Sevres style porcelain and cherubs. It is most exquisitely modelled in the classical style of Louis XVI. Finely chased and crisply modelled in ormolu(finely gilded brass/bronze) and mounted with Sevres style porcelain panels. Porcelain has a blue ground and is delicately painted with floral swags. The panel below the dial is painted with a delightful scene of two cherubs. To the top of the clock is a cherub marking off time. Candelabra have porcelain mounted bases upon which stand cherubs, one boy and one a girl, holding the four branches aloft as burning touch é. Branches are modelled as stylised acanthus. This clock set has been impeccably prepared by our restorers and is beautifully bright and clean. Ready to display. The dial is enamel in copper. Lettered in blue with separate minute and hour rings. The finely fretted gilt brass hands are original and the hobnail bezel is fitted with convex glass. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen. The French movement is of excellent quality and is the early design with silk suspension and outside hammer stop spring. Beautiful Rare Antique French Porcelain Longwy Clock Model 1092 / 1980
Beautiful Rare Porcelain Antique French Longwy Clock Model 1092/ 1980 as marked. What a great little gem of a clock this is. Standing 11.5" tall and 4.5" wide, the clock is hand painted with 2 Cheribum and musical instruments on the sides and tops. The predominant color is a light shade of pink. Mechanically the movement will run but the pendulum only swings for a few minutes, it may need to be adjusted, I am not a clock expert and cannot vouch for the mechanical condition of this clock, it does appear complete with a movement marked France 174, the bell is present and the pendulum, the hands can be removed by simply pulling them off, I believe it is missing something that keeps the hands secured. There is one small chip to the left side base that is hard to see unless you look for it, otherwise the clock is in fine condition! I ... moredo not have a key with this clock. This clock is in magnificent condition for it's age of(130) plus years old.This clock appears to be in good working condition. The clock is keeping correct time for the period that I've tested it. The face of the clock shows some very minor wear with a chip. But doesn't take away from it's beauty. The Marble case is in good condition. W/ the exception of some small minor chips and a piece of marble missing on the lower left side(see pic's) Porcelain Dial.Time& Strike.Pendulum are all there(pendulum does not seem to tighten up on rod) As well as the key. G. B. GESCHUTZT DEPOSE ANTIQUE GERMAN WALL CLOCK PORCELAIN and WOOD This clock was purchased in Germany in the mid 1950's by my in-laws. And was already considered an antique. Not sure of it's exact age. The mark in back shows: G.B. possible short for Gustav Becker, but can't be 100% sure. The body of clock is solid wood. With dark antique stain. The face of clock is made of white porcelain. With dark blue checker design. It has key for winding. Clock works if slightly tilted off balance. The face has crack going in three different directions. Someone with skill can probably fill those in. Measures: 14" overall. Face is: 10" x 10" square.

This is a gorgeous antique Victorian flow blue porcelain china mantle clock. A beautiful royal flow blue is decorated with gold gild. The front and side panels have a floral motif in lovely shades of pinks and lavenders. The back is marked"Royal Bonn 1755" La Vogue" The bottom is marked with letters and numbers that I have shown in a photo. I believe this mantle clock was made by the Ansonia Clock Company but not certain. This clock has the original glass with beveled edge and beautiful decorative front but the clock works have been replaced with an electric General Electric clock. The clock does run but have not tested it over a long period of time to know if it keeps time well or not. Approximately 13" wide, and approximately 6 3/4" thick. The face of the clock is approximately 5" in diameter and is porcelain. The clock is made of wood with the horse, gears, bell, pendulum, and rim of the clock face made of brass. The glass door of the clock opens to allow access to the clock. The height of the pendulum can be adjusted. The key for winding the clock is included along with a small metal hook. The back of the clock features a small metal hanger for affixing the clock to a wall. The wooden section on top of the clock and the horse which sits on top of it can both be removed. Featured in this auction is a LARGE and IMPRESSIVE mantle clock made of gold gilded ormolu and hand painted Sevres porcelain plaques. The clock bears the famous Japy Freres seal and was awarded a special distinction. This impressive mantle clock was probably made in the early part of the 19 th Century. The rich design and size make this a very unique collector’s item. It is very rare to find items of this quality and size; making this item highly collectable. Antique New Haven Louis XV style clock with porcelain insert 19th
This mantle clock is in a Louis XV style bronze dore case. It has a porcelain insert depicting a man and woman in 18 th century dress. The case was made by New Haven clock Co. and it is likely the movement is French. The movement is unmarked. The clock is 14 inches high. 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The clock has an ornate porcelain face but it has a crack in it. The door covering the face has beveled glass. The door on the back of the clock has a paper New Haven label on the inside. The back door is loose from the case. The pendulum is present but we do not have the key. The clock is not running.

Here we have a beautiful clock. It appears to be made out of brass. Unfortunately we do not have the original key so we can fully test this clock. However we played with the movements and it appears to be working. Nothing is locked up but I am sure some adjustments will be needed. The face is porcelain also. French antique garniture set Lovely 3 piece set of a vase clock with matching candelabras. The porcelain is quite thin and has a matt bisque finish. There are flowers hand painted on it. The white color is enameled paint. The main color is a lovely deep sea blue/green. The flowers on it make it even nicer. I have never seen a set like this. Made around 1880-1900. The ornaments are partly made of brass and partly made of bronze. All the ornaments are original and in good. Antique condition, with only minor wear. The porcelain is also in very good condition, with no cracks. The clock dial is made of enamel. It does have some minor damage to it, look at the photo for the details. The clock features a double feature of sorts with a built in barometer as well as the clock. The case is all solid brass and in good condition. Up for auction is an original Junghans clock movement/works and face dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Comes with the pendulum. Hands, key and the other pieces seen in the photos. This can be used in wall, mantle and shelf clocks. I have seen the same exact face in a castle clock. The face has a porcelain and bronze finish. 8 day Germany porcelain front wall clock. Face front is a little over 8 x 8 inches. It comes with pendulum and key. It does not work perfectly. If it is level. It will run for a few minutes and then stops. I do not know if it just needs cleaning or something more. It has some yellowing and age crazing on the front as well as a few chips. The largest chip is on the back, you can see it in the photo of the back. Also, on the back is some numbers and letter. I could not read the first one, but you can read the rest on the photo I took. Late Napoleon III period circa 1870 Look very carefully at the photos of this wonderful find. Checkout the porcelain dial which is superb. Each number is on a separate white porcelain cartouche and the colour is exquisite. Only damage I could find is one point on the back of the queens crown is missing but you can't see that usually. And one back leg seems a bit wobbly so be very careful when placing it on your mantle being careful not to push it around and it will be fine. The photos show all. It has a French movement with proper French pendulum and winds very smoothly on the one train. It comes with that original pendulum and a brand new brass key. Fine 19th century Royal Bonn of Germany porcelain mantel clock with Ansonia NY clock face and parts patent dated 1881& 1882. The case is marked on the backside and the parts and clock face are marked as well. The clock is in good working order last serviced it appears in late 1971. There is a label affixed to the underside stating such. I do not guarantee the clock will give perfect time you may have to take the clock to a clock repair for minor adjustments, after all the clock is over 120 years old. The clock case is beautiful and is in very good to excellent condition with one minor manufactured firing line on the right side about 1" long, please see close up photo. Antique Meissen Porcelain Framed Dresser Clock To the Queen of England (#5411)
Antique Meissen porcelain framed dresser clock. Howell James& Co TO THE QUEEN. Made 1850-1881. The porcelain frame made in Germany. The clock made in England. See below for further details. Measurements: the entire piece is approx 9 1/2 inches high. The porcelain frame was made by Meissen. Germany. It is an oval with multi-coloured medallions in gilded borders within gold concentric circles, alternating with skyblue daisies. The inner border is a zig-zag pattern of pastel pink and green. A pair of long-leaved foliage swags with tiny red berries are moulded on the bottom and seperated by a pink bow at the bottom. On the upper surface are a pair of putti, holding a garland of flowers and a large feather or sheath of corn. One cherub in pink and the other in blue. The design of this frame was repeatedly copied by a host of porcelain factories ... moreduring the 19th century. The clock was made by Howell James& Co and has the honor of the title TO THE QUEEN. Which would refer to Queen Victoria during the 19th century. The superior quality of their products is attested to by this designation as well as their history, as related in Wikipedia- see notes below. Engine- turned details with long black hands and silvery metal contrasting with black hands and numerals on the dial. THere are two original keys: one to set the clock and one to wind it. Mahogany back and brass stand. Marks: the porcelain is marked with the Meissen crossed swords mark used 1850-1924. No cancellation lines. The clock is marked as described: Howell James& Co and TO the Queen. Condition: the clock is in working order and for the time I had it running. It kept time well. There are some kiln'cracks' on the foliage, but no damage and the small flowers are in remarkably good condition. See'photos. The dial of the clock has some wear/puckering- see'photos.
