We have up for sale a nice old German shelf clock. Has been running in our house. There is no glass on face. There is paint scuffs on case and looks like the little knob on top of case has been reglued. On back of case there is a label saying Teutonia Clock Manufactory. Under trademark shows Made in Baden. Under that is the word Warranted, then P.H.S, then it is numbered(can make out only 351) The P.H.S stands for Phillip Haas& Sohn. There is another label at the top on back of case saying(name) Jeweler and Silversmith established(unreadable) then Hemel Hemstead. There is small damage to the wood on case where this label is(as shown in pic) On the movement there is a mark with P.H.S with a rabbit above it. Comes with pendulum and key. Antique wall Clock French original 1800-1900 French Country w/ orig. shelf
This beautiful vintage wall clock is French Country in style. The green and gold tones with pink flowers have a wonderful patina. The is some very minor cracking in the wood due to the age and the way it was made. This is where the wood was glued together before it was carved. This is a wall clock meant to sit on the matching original shelf but could stand alone on a mantle. The works are marked Unghans with a large letter J inside of a star as shown in one of the photos. The clock while sitting on the shelf is 35" high x 19 1/2" wide. It does work and dongs on the hours and on the half hours. I can't find much information on this so if anyone has any info I would appreciate if you would share. There is a round stamp on the back but I am unable to make it out. Posted with

They had a universal key at the auction and wound it a little to show it works, but the key was theirs and they needed it to test future items that did not have one. Movement is smooth. Glass and bezel original. Chimes on the hour with the number of hours and once on the half-hour. Fine working condition, keeps good time. Brass coloring worn on ormolu mounts. Right shoulder ormolu mount a little loose but does not come off. Minor enamel wear above the shoulders on both sides(see photos) On the movement frame it says: Ansonia Clock Co. I am selling a Antique 1930's? SESSIONS Art Deco Figural Nude Maiden Woman Electric Shelf Clock as seen in the photos below. Clock comes exactly as shown. The cord is dry and brittle as shown so I have not tested it. So the working condition is unknown. The base is solid wood, the female figure is made of some type of metal with a gold finish. The clock is mounted inside a circular piece of wood as shown. It is made by Sessions, not sure when it was made but by the style I'm guessing the mid to late 1930's. There is a faint"82" stamped on the back, and a sticker that shows the clock was repaired in 1979. I'm listing this for my friend's father, so it's not my personal clock, and I know very little about these. My friend's father had feared he overwound the clock, but it was keeping time and chiming normally once I got it home, so I think it's OK. However, because of the age of the item, it's being sold as-is. Also, please note that the decorative piece on top of the clock is loose, and can be reglued. This is a wonderful Waterbury mantel clock. I just had it service it works great keep time well and the chimes are beautiful. However. Because I will be shipping this item it may need to be adjusted. Formed March 5. 1857, as a joint stock corporation, the Waterbury Clock Company from its inception was an operation designed to be a major user of brass produced by the parent firm, the Benedict& Burnham Manufacturing Company. Utilizing the best talent available to them, they hired veteran clockmaker Chauncey Jerome to set up the new firm’s casemaking shop and his brother Noble Jerome, a well-known clock mechanic, to set up the movement manufacturing operation. Seth Thomas Classical Federal Mahogany and Eglomise Clock. C. 1820, double weight, chiming bell movement made by Eli Terry for Seth Thomas, Plymouth, C.T. with painted wood dial, beautiful stencil eagle on top, reverse painted fruit basket at bottom door. Height 34 in. width 17 1/2 in. depth 4 1/4 in. Does not work but all parts are there with weights and key. There is a hairline crack in frame corner, see picture 7, and small side top molding missing, see picture 8. These do not detract from beauty of clock, it displays very nicely.

I call it deco, although it’s really not, because of the dome shaped rose quartz and gray marble case with a porcelain face. The paint is in pretty good condition. On the back is a partial brand name on the works, Medaille” and there is no key or pendulum. The springs may be in good condition, although we won’t guarantee them. They aren’t crimped down, and if I get a key I will double check it. The case itself is worth the price. It’s all marble, with rose quartz, gray marble, all laminated in seams and groups, and of course the statue on top. It has a beveled glass bezel and the porcelain face is all good and intact. It’s in really nice condition, except that I can’t guarantee the works. The overall size is 16 inches across the base, 4.5 inches deep, and 8.5 inches to the top of the clock, and 15 inches to the top of the statue. The actual height to the top of the statue is 7 inches, and the statue wraps around to measure about 12 inches wide. Antique Bronze Gilt Clock Case No Movement French Tower Shelf Mantle
Up for auction is a beautiful case no matter what movement you slide in here! This piece(mind you I am NOT an expert) has a very European look. So I am guessing French. Please take a second(or 20) to look at the designs/patterns and come to your own conclusion. There are 2 stamps inside across from each other. Both markings are the same, it almost looks like a cup or Paul with an S on it. Other than that I have not a clue. But it is beautiful. And it is HEAVY! The clock has a wonderful porcelain or ceramic case covered in pink flowers and gold accents. On the back it has a label that indicates it was made by Waterbury and the clock is a Parlor Number 94. The clock has the original movement and the clock is in excellent working condition– including the gong. It measures about 12" tall and is in nice condition but there is a repair to one of the high points at the left side. There is also a shallow chip on the front at the 10:30 position. Ingraham& Co. Bristol. Conn. and the movement is marked E. Ingraham Co. Pat'd Oct. 8, 78 Nov. 11, 79. This clock is 24 in. high, 16 in. wide and 5 in. deep. It runs and keeps good time. Antique Mantel Clock This auction is for a really nice and very well made antique. 1800s shelf or mantel clock. The clock has the original porcelain dial that’s marked Raingo Frerea Aaria, which is a famous French clockmaker. The dial does have some hairline crow’s feet. The case is made of very heavy solid brass and on the front it has a neat image of a cherub in a chariot and griffons at the very bottom. All four sides have thick beveled glass panels and the front and back door open. The clock movement has been replaced by a battery movement but otherwise the clock is old and original– probably from around the 1870s. The case is in excellent condition but there is some chipping to the glass. Measures about 13¼" tall and guaranteed as described! Great piece! Antique New Haven Cast Iron Bronze Finish Victorian Mantle/Shelf Clock
Take a close look at the photos of this very old and marvelously decorated clock. It is 4” tall 5” wide and 2” deep. So it’s probably more of a shelf clock than a mantle clock. The face of the clock is 2” in diameter. It has a unique shape and is wonderfully decorated with Victorian-style relief scenes. It has a beautiful bronze patina. The bottom of the clock has four small feet with a cobblestone finish. It has“JB 1374” stamped on the bottom. I don’t know what this is. The clock does run. But only intermittently. Antique Clock This auction is for a very rare and very nice antique shelf or mantel clock. Very little information on this clock can be found online. But luckily it has the original label on the back that says this is the Lohengrin Musical Clock model made by New Haven Clock Company back in 1888. The clock has a really great floating pillar design and is really a nice looking, ornate piece, but what makes it really special is that it has a very large, well made musical box in the bottom that is would from the front. The music box appears to play when a certain time is passed, but I can’t get it to activate. When I wound it up it started to play right away but I haven’t been able to play it since. Not sure if there is an activation button or what– might even need a little work. The clock itself works great and it has a gong that sounds at ... morethe top of the hour as well. here is an absolutely gorgeous ornately carved solid walnuit kitchen/shelf clock case. it has the original wavy glass but it seems the design has been taken off. as it was probly well faded. the design elements seem to be 1875-1880. there was some sort of top piece with holes.probly had turned dowels or stick and ball ornament and another crown piece in the middle.easy for any woodworker to do in walnut.or just put a piece of 1/4" walnur\t over the holes. i see no marking on the back.so am inclosing an Ansonia gong.it's nice enough to be Ansonia! The clock sits on the metal hand tooled horseshoe to raise the clock for the swing of the pendulum. The beveled front glass is free from any damage. The back glass has been replaced with a Lucite, why? Not a clue. The ceramic face plate does have some age damage, see picture#5. The clock has just been serviced by a professional as when I purchased the clock on spring needed to be replaced. It is definitely old as the patina on the metal cannot be fabricated. It IS heavy!
