Signed French Art Nouveau sculpture and onyx mantel clock with figures of 2 women and lovebirds. Late 19th century. Measurements: base is just under 14 1/2inches wide and 8 1/2inches high. Total height is 29inches. Beautiful marbled onyx in a soft almost luminous green. Gilt metal scrolling foliate mounts and highlights. Porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals and handpainted floral swag. Delicate gilt metal hands. The name of the firm is worn. Onyx has age'cracks' But they are only superficial and not damage of any sort. Delicate metal grille covers the clock's movement at the back. See photos for details. A very fine antique. Circa 1920's- 1930's, French Art Deco mantel clock. The case is made up from French rouge and Belgian black and white marbles. Two bronze puffed up doves are top ornaments. The diamond shaped white enamel metal dial has a white metal frame and glass. It is in working order to tell the time, no key included- will accept an American key. The clock total measures 11-1/4" tall by 11-3/4" wide by 3-3/4" deep. Excellent condition: marbles without chips or cracks, bronze doves in fine patina. Two reverse chips to the beveled glass.

This is a RARE beautiful antique pocket size travel alarm clock. A beautiful mid to late 1800's period piece. Made in France in there gorgeous Art Nouveau design. The clock dial is a gorgeous enamel white with black painted sections around the outside. Bright green thick Guilloche enameling over carved spiral decoration with gold painted numbers on them. A black painted inset seconds dial& gold painted flowers around the dial as well. The case is a magnificent piece of art as well. The body of the case is solid brass even the backside of the brass is engraved with design. The front has a cover of black bronze or iron. With stunning art nouveau style Silver overlay of flowers and stems with gold overlay tall scrolled leaves. With a gold and silver overlay of overlapping intials in the center top of JS. The Movement is an old antique ... moreFrench Key Wind movement. With original key. The movement does work. It may need a lubrication. I took the movement out. Which took a while to figure out how to do it safely. There were no visible markings on the movement. The backside of the clock is marked Depose Metal Dore 192064. The backside as you can see has a round loop which folds out partially. For sitting on a desk or night stand at an angle.Then there is a pull up brass loop for hanging either in a carriage or on a wall etc. It measures approx. 2-3/4" by 3-1/4" See condition below. Fantastic Antique French Mantle Clock Marti Spectacular Veneer Grain Art Deco
Up for sale is this wonderful antique French mantle clock. The movement is signed Marti. The time function has been running well. But the strike function has been a bit funny, it wasn't striking at all, but I just gave the spring a few winds and it went off, but the spring was definitely not unwound prior, so I don't think that was the full issue. So be aware that it will require some attention. The pendulum is likely a replacement, configured to fit, there is a solder mark at its base, where it should be adjustable, but no longer is. The hands are replacements, and perhaps the dial as well. The bezel is missing its glass. But I think the star is the grain in the veneer of the case, and the straight simple and elegant lines of the clock. There is some wear to it, some tiny chip spots along the edges and a few other spots of wear, ... morebut overall it's in good to very good condition. It measures about 12" x 6 1/4"

Antique 1920s-30s LIMOUSIN Art Deco Figural Girl Mantle CLOCK & Vase Urns French
Antique Limousin French Art Deco Mantle Clock and Vase Set about 20" long x 11" Tall x 8" deep. Vases are about 9" tall x 5" wide. Excellent physical condition with all-original surfaces. There are some small chips along the front. Left corner edge of the clock base, but they blend-in with the surface. The clock mechanism appears to be overwound and therefore we are selling it with the clock needing service. There is a bell inside and behind it. There appears to be a pendulum which swings when you lift the clock. When you move the hands manually around the dial, something starts inside and then the bell chimes multiple times, so some parts are working, even though the clock is not keeping time at all. The tiny shaft above the 12 has a square end and one of the included keys fits over it, but it just spins freely when ... moreyou turn it. There are 2 keys included. But neither is an original to the clock. The vases are made of spelter and stone(onyx) and match the clock. There is a rough edge on the inside, inner lip of the vases. We do not find any damage or repairs to the stone or metal. Normal wear to the surface from age and use. This is very heavy. Note: because the clock is not operational we are selling this as a decorative piece for display and we cannot guarantee the clockworks(although nothing looks to be obviously missing) SHIPPING NOTES: Your Package has Tracking and Insurance-Always. up for sale is a antique French mantel clock set with two matching urn's the look is art deco? and is in excellent condition.Except for some minor super small chips,that are shown in the photos provided I have had it for about 16yrs and only set it out for the first year after that I placed it in storage,it works and is complete.but need to be serviced, or you can clean it and oil it if you know how so that it will keep running with proper time.once again it works but may stop because of the need of being cleaned of dust and oiled. it is not broken or junk its a wonderful looking and working once its serviced. don't miss out.no one can beat my price and quality, ALSO REMEMBER ITS VERY HEAVY. thank you for looking GOD BLESS.

Rare Art Deco Antique French Metal Wall Clock from France
For your French decor. A fabulous and rare find ~ a French metal wall clock dating from the 1930s. A great piece from the French Art Deco period. The square clock has been made from metal that has been decorated with a chromolithograph Art Deco motif. It measures 13 inches square. In vintage condition with wear to the imagery and light rusting overall. Made in Saint-Etinne(trademark on the face of the clock) Clock mechanism is still intact within a round metal case on the backside. Dark blue on the backside of clock. Original winding key is included. However, clock has not been cleaned and appears to be not be working. New owner may choose to have it professionally cleaned to work. Metal loop on the round casing in the back for hanging on the wall. Will be carefully packed for shipping within the USA only.
