German Porcelain POCONO Ansonia Mantel/Shelf Clock Patd 1882 with Key/Pendulum
There are no chips or cracks. There is light crazing throughout as usual for these. It measures 12" tall. 12 1/2" wide by 5" deep. BEAUTIFUL DIAL with green and what appears to be original hands. The pendulum appears to be original also. This is a recent estate find and it does not run for more than a few minutes. Will definitely need cleaning. 19th century. Black enamel painted cast iron body, Ansonia shelf clock. Ormolu details with flame finial on top. 8-day, spring-driven brass movement. Partially replaced( numerical face. Glass and bezel original. Chimes on the hour with the number of hours and once on the half-hour. Fine working condition, keeps good time. Brass coloring worn on ormolu mounts. Right shoulder ormolu mount a little loose but does not come off. Minor enamel wear above the shoulders on both sides(see photos) On the movement frame it says: Ansonia Clock Co. USA, New York, Patented June 18, 1882. 13 1/2” high, 7 1/2” wide, 4 1/2” deep. 5” diameter bezel.

Offered for your consideration is this Antique Ansonia Clock Co. regulator wall clock. This is an large clock measuring approximately 25" long x 17" wide x 5" deep. It features some very stunning natural swirls all around the Dark Rosewood cabinetry. This clock is a 2 glass affair with the round dial door glass. And bottom black w/ gold imagery. This clock comes with a pendulum and key. It worked great for the hour I tested it. The movement ticks wonderfully and it even appears to keep accurate time when level. Comes with a key and pendulum(not sure if the key is original) Clock face is very ornate with a beautiful gold gilt overlay. Clock runs and chimes. But overall operation is unknown. Stands 12" tall x 5" wide x 3 1/2" deep. Condition shows back side(wood panel) has been reinforced with a metal screw spacer and much of the gold gilt has worn off the decorations that adorn the exterior. Beautiful antique spelter Ansonia clock topper. Has a Lady sitting on a chair holding a box of jewelry in one hand and what looks like a piece of jewelry she is admiring in the other hand. This wonderful clock topper has great detail and is in good shape. The only problem I can find with it is that the ball part of the jewelry in the woman's hand is gone. Two Antique Spelter Ansonia Sitting Lady Clock Toppers
Pair of antique Ansonia spelter clock toppers. They are both toppers of women sitting in two different poses. One is sitting on a bench and the other is sitting holding a harp in one hand. Both of these clock toppers have some wear to the finish. They also each have a crack on the back side of the topper. The woman holding the harp has a crack on the leg of the bench. Which does not go all the way through. The other lady sitting has a crack on the bench as well as a very small one close to the leg of the woman. If you missed out on the last"King" listed here's your second chance. Very sought after and the price is rising all the time. The front glass door obviously has its original classic silver design on the glass showing a nice amount of wear for its age giving it desirable character. Everything else is as you see it too. In great condition indeed. But it hasn't been restored or interfered with as far as I can see. Original from the factory over 100 years ago. You might want to give it some antique wax but I haven't done a thing to it. The patina on the lions' heads and the Ansonia Lady are very old and attractive. New York, Patent June 18, 1882 The glass face cover is missing and the back door is missing. There is a chip in the top towards the back of the clock which has a bad repair. There is also crazing throughout and there is some wear to the gold paint. Cleaning is needed and there is some old tape residue on the back. The porcelain is in excellent original condition and does not have any chips or cracks but does have age related crazing. The design is incredibly detailed and well done. It is very uncommon to find this clock in flow blue& white combination. The face has a fancy brass grid design on what looks to be a crackled painted ... morebackground. Convex glass is clean. On the bottom below there is an under the glaze blue number as seen on other Royal Bonn clocks. I couldn't find the Royal Bonn name. But I could not see the inside well. The brass back cover is missing a nail. So it will not stay on. Not a big deal, just thought would mention it. the back cover& key is not pictured) Comes with pendulum and a key. The key is not the original. But antique and works well. We had a horologist take a look at the clock and he said it will work fine. He did not clean and service it for us. For your consideration is a wonderful antique Ansonia Cast Iron Mantle Clock with a gold dial and open escapement. I have not seen another like this special clock. I have not wound this clock in about 5 months. But it worked fine for a month keeping perfect time and striking on the hour. 8 day clock. Great carved design on this beautiful cast iron. Stately and beautiful at the same time. It does have a chip in the bottom of the beveled glass on the inside, but is below the numbers. Clock measures 14 3/4" wide, 10" tall and 6 1/2" deep. It does have the weight, however needs a key. It takes a size 11. This is an Ansonia, however it is hard to read on the works inside. I could not get in a picture due to the design, however if you get it just right you can see the Ansonia name through the design. This cast iron mantle clock was made by Ansonia and has a patent date of 1882. Including the feet. The clock is 17 inches across, 10 ½ inches high and 7 inches deep. It has a black lacquered finish. The sides of the front have metal torches inside of wreath decoration. The sides have animals of some sort, maybe griffins. The dial is enamel. The movement is marked patented 1882. The clock is working. The case and the back cover have been repainted somewhere along the way. It has in excellent condition. We do not have the key.

The Famous Ansonia"Parisian" Clock with Pendulum and key. Good Condition- Running and Striking Very Well. I don't need to introduce this one. It is so famous. If you missed out on the last"Parisian" listed, here's your second chance. Very sought after and the price is rising all the time. The gorgeous wooden case has been cleaned and oiled to show off the deep rich wooden finish. It seems to have two tones of colour in the wood from a dark blackwood on the top down to the base which is rich deep red. The front glass door has a delightful gold design. Everything else is as you see it too. In good condition indeed for its age. It has been restored somewhat as far as I can see. And what looks like the original Ansonia movement has been cleaned and oiled. That is working very well. Looks great too. It's been a ... morelong way since it came out of the factory in the USA over 100 years ago. You might want to give it some antique wax to make it shine but I prefer the matt smooth look. Zoom in on the HD photos to check it out the normal sort of damage for its age which gives it character. This clock is not only classy it works extremely well with a nice clear single cathedral gong on the half hour and counting out the hours. It is supplied with bullseye pendulum and key. These Ansonia clocks are very reliable running and will go 8 days without winding. Probably the easiest to keep ticking. Standing approx. 60cm in height and 33 cm wide these are big clocks. Don't wait for this price to go down. I don't want to sell this one actually. So if you don't grab it while I am weakening. It stays on my shelf for me to love and enjoy. This clock is not marked on the face but the inner workings of it are marked and patent dated 1882. The body of this clock is a simple porcelain with elegant and tasteful design featuring a floral motif. For your Consideration is a Beautiful 19th Century Victorian Mantle Clock. Stamped June 18. 1882 Ansonia Clock Co. New York USA on the inside and stamped on the back Royal Bonn Germany 1755 La Fontaine. This clock was found in Gettysburg. Pa at a cataloged estate auction. This Clock works wonderfully and is an 8 Day clock with a chime on the hour and half hour. Beautiful Turquoise Blue and white Porcelain adorn with pink, purple and white flowers. Accented with a gold trim. Above the clock face I see a white area where I would think I see blue. May be a rub mark from opening the front glass door. see photo 8. It is smooth to touch. I see no chips just normal age fine crazing on the back. The back door is brass and shows normal tarnish from age. Inside wonderfully clean with date and maker inside. Front and Rear Entry. 4 Crystal glass beveled windows The base and Top are either green Onyx or Marble. Cracks/ Chips/ Chunks missing. WE are selling this amazing Clock AS IS. I can manually move the Pendulum. And the clock does'work' but eventually the Pendulum STOPS MOVING. This clock is NON FUNCTIONAL! NEEDS REPAIR or Reconditioning. Looks good. needs A LOT of WORK! On the face of the clock near the V(5) Position is a small blemmish(see pics) The inside bottom has swirl marks not sure what cased this. The top has many many cracks. Up for auction is a vintage Ansonia 8 da wall clock.I bought this clock in a estate sale.I tried to test it.It worked for a while but stopped an hour later.I tried to open and check inside.I saw some rope twined on two of the gears.I tried to untie but i couldnt.So i decided to unscrew to untie the rope.Ater unscrew them all the gears fall off and i couldn't put them back.So I put all the parts and screws inside the clock.I will ship all together.Either you can have it fixed and use it or use the parts.It is 26" tall 15" wide 4.5" deep. The case is made of steel and has an impressive unpacked weight of 23 1/2 lbs(10.6 kg) Front has 3 green-colored pillars on both sides and a decorative brass scroll above the brass dial frame. Dial frame has a diameter of 5" with a well functionning access door with glass. The face plate is white enamel with a central recess to accomodate the open escapement. Clock chimes on the half hour and the full hours. In beautifull working condition. Pendulum and winding key are included. Rear access door is in excellent condition.
