The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Vintage JC Penney Real Baby Cart Factory Wicker Dollar Carriage! Model 265/5!
Up for bid is a vintage wicker doll stroller that is in pretty nice condition! A partial label on the bottom tells us that this item was originally sold by J C Penney and was a model 265/5 and is"sturdily made" We believe that this item was made by the"Real Baby Cart Factory" and sold sometime in the 1920's-1930's. But we cannot be certain. The rough measurements are; 25 inches from the floor to the top of the handle, Using outside dimensions, the basket is 9 inches tall by 17 inches long and 10 1/4 inches in one side and it tapers down to about 9 1/2 inches. The hood or bonnet is 11 inches by 8 inches and the opening is 12 inches. The wheel base is 9 inches by 9 inches(hub to hub) Spoked wheels are about 7 1/4 inches in outside diameter. Bonnet has pivot points that work ok. The knobs loosen and tighten as they ... moreshould with a little encouragement. The wooden base on the inside of the basket has two pieces, the floor is a board that is 7 by 13 inches and the backrest is 6 inches by 7 inches. The metal bracket is movable to either raise or lower the backrest. The bonnet can swivel so the doll can"see" out the front of the cart or"look back" towards the handle. The wheels feel like they have been sitting stationary for a while and they all have a part of the wheel that is a bit"flatter" The wicker has minor paint loss and is still somewhat flexible and pliable. Sure, it squeaks when you push it. As you can see in the pics, it is not in perfect condition and shows a little wear and some surface rust on the metal parts. The plastic in the bonnet is intact on both sides, but it is a bit cloudy. We will disassemble the unit before we ship it. One square nut is missing from the brackets on the bottom of the unit. On my way back, feeling better and a bit silly, I immediately noticed the seat area seemed blurry somehow, as if it was out of focus. I reached down into the seat area and my hand felt chilly air. I quickly pulled my hand back, then got my courage up and tried it a few times more to be sure- the same chill everytime. Now I was really getting uneasy and my skin was crawling. I moved the sulky into the garage and haven't noticed any more odd phenomenon since. Who knows the true history of whatever might have happened to this piece in its long history. Antique Tyler Victorian Wicker Baby Stroller Doll Buggy Carriage Cart
This is an antique wicker baby with wooden spoke red wheels with rubber tires. It comes from the antique clothing and accessories collection that was my mother and grandmother's. My mother used this as a prop for her fashion shows for charity. there are many props and many many many pieces of antique fashion. While I do have this listed as local pick up only. Vintage wicker baby doll stroller buggy carriage not sure of age
This stroller has been stored and even though I vacuumed it. It still shows dust and could use some wood polish on wood parts. It stands 29 1/2" high at highest point(push handle) and 29" long and 12 1/2" across. There is no canopy. I don't know if it is real old or not. It will be shipped with the push handle and wheels detached. They screw right back on. I accept all forms of payment. I combine shipping. If you have a problem with a purchase. Email me immediately. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

Vintage Wicker Pram Welcome! This pram is at least 40 years old. The owner received it for her child that long ago and said it was old then so perhaps it is antique. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Authentic Antique Heywood-Wakefield Wicker Rattan Baby Carriage/Buggy- A WOW'ER!
H-W(Heywood-Wakefield) Wicker Baby Buggy with fully functional features! For your consideration. A beautiful& authentic Heywood-Wakefield wicker rattan baby carriage buggy. The buggy is in very good shape- being all original materials. Wicker body, metal framing, wood handle and spokes. The carriage has many notable features that are all in great working order: A thick wooden push handle with original paint A metal brake activation lever on the right side just below the push handle. This lever locks in the braking position when pushed all the way down- probably one of the first to have this feature. A metal lever on the left side. Towards the back and bottom of the wicker body, that controls the position of the foot end of the buggy. This lever locks into 2 positions- as can be seen in the photos. The back rest can be locked into 3 different ... morepositions with a spring loaded pull metal knob on the top of the back rest. The top canopy that provides the baby shade/blocking the light can be adjusted back and forth along 2 metal runners and can be position up or down on a pivot that has large wing nuts to tighten to secure. The mechanics for these adjustment are on the back of the top sides of the main body. Wooden spoked wheels with hub caps that had or have"H-W" painted on them- most of this has worn away but one is in pretty good and readable condition. All 4 wheels can easily be removed and be re-inserted by using a spring loaded button on the axle by each wheel. A pretty cool feature. Rubber wheels- the rubber was cracking in many places but was complete on all wheels- to help secure and protect the original rubber I filled the cracks and uneven places with black silicone. For auction is a near mint condition Patent Oct. 16. 1917 Wicker Baby Carriage manufactured by Lloyd Loom Products of Memominee, Michigan. The logo signage label is on the axle brace. It says as follows: Patent Process-Lloyd Loom Products-Menominee, Michigan-Method Patented Oct 16, 1917-Other Patents Pending. The Baby carriage is completely original except for the cotter pins holding the wheels on. There is three original hubcaps and one added hubcap. The wicker and inside cloth material are still in great condition. The 10 1/2 inch wooden spoke wheels are in great shape with hardly any wear on the rubber tires. The back right wheel axle had a slight bend but this was corrected by the seller. You are looking at a full size Victorian vintage wicker/pram baby carriage. It's in great condition overall. The metal wheels have some worn areas in the rubber and it seems this was once painted white as you can see in the photos. I purchased this carriage exactly as it appears in the photos from an antique store in Belvidere. New Jersey several years ago. The foot part folds down as you can see. The metal manufacturer(tag shown in the photo) was"Geo W. Travers, New York City" and the tag is located on the bottom rear beneath the seat. Smith& Co. Brattleboro. Vt. I have uncovered some information about this company in Vermont from when it was first established and then evolved to make other tools later in the century. Here is a beautiful antique primitive 1800s wicker and metal baby carriage. Buggy or pram. Measuring 44" long, 36" high and 18" wide, condition is excellent considering the age, with normal age patina on the metal, and typical aging of the rubber on the wheels. The wicker appears to be in remarkably wonderful shape with no holes or other visible issues. There are remnants of a sticker on the bottom which may have identified the manufacturer; however nothing really remains of any use in identifying the maker. Please e-mail any questions. Here is an antique wicker baby doll carriage. It has a sticker on its underside that says Meinecke Milwaukee. From the internet search. I gathered that Meineke founded a toy store there in 1855, followed by a willow factory where they among others goods, made carriages. Measures 28" tall, 24" long and generally 10" wide( top is a little wider) Steel frame with wooden handle and rubber treads. Has the adjustable back where baby can lie down more fully. Rubber treads have seen better days but it rolls smoothly and with ease. This wicker stroller is awesome! It's got loads of charm! This wicker part of the stroller measures 19" x 9" As a whole it's 27" tall and 25" from end to end. It's fully functioning and great for dolls. Pets, babies or for a prop. It's in excellent condition given it's age. I'm guessing it was made in the 1930s. Local pick up is preferable on this piece. But I will assist in shipping if you'd like to make arrangements. There is a Grayhound station in town and that's often the cheapest way to transport items of this relative size. This is an antique child/baby seat made by Lloyds Loom Co. I anticipate it to be turn of the century and used to transport babies in wagons or the new-fangled automobiles. It is about 28" long. It has an adjustable handle on the back to adjust the front valence. Canopy also adjusts with wing nuts. Wicker is in excellent condition- one wear spot on the canopy and a few slightly frayed ends. Some rust in the steel base and one wood cross member appears to have been replaced. It has a leather strap with"Lloyd" tooled in the middle. The end snap pulled through so I glued it with some VLP cement. I will ship in as small of box as I can which will mean taking off the canopy so some assembly will be required. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage "Kensington" Pat'd. 1875
Antique victorian baby carriage originally. Now I would use it for large dolls. The name of the carriage is the"Kensington" Pat'd. July 5th. 1875. It was made by S.Charles Bros. 11-10 B'way. N.Y. It measures 37 1/2" long, including the handle it measures 51" long. It is 24 1/2" wide, and 35" tall. The body is wicker. The bottom is wood. The wheels are wood with metal bands around the edges. The four center caps of the wheels are brass. The handle is wood with brass finial ends. There is a wood plaque on each end of the carriage to attach an umbrella on either top or bottom. An oval plaque with the name of the carriage is mounted on either end. There are two metal rings on each side of the wicker edge to hold a cover or blanket with clips. Estate Antique Large Wicker Doll Carriage. Measures approximately 22" long. 12" wide, 22" high- excluding the handle. Handle measures approx. 22" from where it is attached at bottom and 10" wide. Excellent used antique condition given the age. Seems to have all original parts. Believed to be circa 1920s period. Wheels move freely. Handle and wheels have some rust. Wicker is quite well preserved Small piece of trim is unattached but included. Few loose areas. This piece is being sold as found. Vintage Antique Iron Wicker Rabbit Bunny Baby Doll Stroller Carriage RARE $750
ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. Even though it may be a marriage of different parts, it is eye catching and has appeal to collectors with a value of $750.00. Even though this carriage is very old. And the one ear has been repaired, it is otherwise in amazing condition! This buggie would be the perfect accessory for anyone who is a doll collector. Or who loves all things unique, antique or Victorian, and of course, for anyone who loves decorating for the Easter holiday! The decorating possibilities are endless!
