Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. Vintage/Antique Wicker Carriage/Buggie~With Vintage Rare Baby Wobbles Doll
For auction is a vintage~anitque? doll buggy/carriage& what I believe to be a rare Baby Wobbles doll. The carriage/buggy is in pretty good condition. It appears to made of wicker. Wood, and a type of metal. It is brown with black frame, and black wheels, with beautiful spiraled supports. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check ... moreover the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. Vintage 1940's-50's Taylor Tot Stroller (Complete and Rare) American Restoration
Today up for bids is a Rare Taylor Tot Stroller from the 40's or 50's. One of these rare strollers was restored on the TV show"American Restoration" on History Channel last season. Once restored their stroller brought $1.500. This item is complete and original but will need to be restored to be mint as you can tell from the pictures. There are some cracks on the white rubber on the bumpers and the wood seat also has some cracking. The metal pieces are in nice shape and would need a paint job to look new. RARE Vintage Cadillac Prototype Baby Buggy/Carriage/Pram/Stroller from late 40's-early 50's. This is a rare one. Folks. Can't find another one eBay or on the internet anywhere. Had this appraised. And all parts appear to be original and in excellent condition for its age. Original wheels. Springs, body, handle, shade, paint, brake, etc. The appraiser was able to tell me that car companies such as Cadillac and Mercedes made prototype baby carriages during this time period. But due to copywright infringement laws, the logo could not be made"exactly" the same so you will see it is slightly different from the traditional Cadillac logo. I cannot find another example of this on the internet to compare it to. There are no rips or tears in the fabric shade; and the body appears to be made of tin/metal with wood trim under the ... morechrome at the top. Some small spots of rust on the chrome as shown in the pictures that look like they can be removed and some natural yellowing of the wheels and handle. There is a smudge of the paint on one side; shown in the picture. The inside of the carriage is white and clean throughout. The springs are still very bouncy. No obvious dents or major dings. Great add to any collection or display/use. This is old so it has some inherent issues expected with age. Besides being characteristically flimsy and probably not the safest thing to push a baby around in. It would still be a great add to décor or occasional use: Chrome trim is bent in some places. Hole(at least 2 of them like the one pictured Original mattress stained(needs dry cleaned) Not perfect metal but I cleaned up some with 000 steel wool and the rust comes off for the most part. Top lifts off so it can be carried like a bassinet. Measures around 40" tall. 44" in overall length and 20" wide. Not sure of age but appears to be made in Denmark many years ago. Here is a recent estate find in Maryland. This is a Taylor Tot Deluxe model stroller/walker with wheel Shirts. Park brake and adjustable seat back which raises and reclines! If you look at some of the other ones on ebay you'll see the differences in this model from the others. I believe this is the 1948 model but not positive. When I aquired this it had some restoration done but it was incomplete. Some of the red paint is flaking in spots. Some of the bolts and screws were missing or were the incorrect size and falling out/ or off. I've installed the correct size bolts, nuts, washers and screws and tightened everything up and lubed the wheels and pivots so it works and rolls smoothly. I'll leave any other restorations to the buyer to do with what they want. This is an excellent example of this model. The brake lever moves easily ... morewith a push of your foot to lock rods into holes in the rear wheels. Looks all original except for paint. This buggy features a wooden seat deck. Metal backrest, swivel front wheels, and spring shocks on the back wheel assembly. It still has its colorful wooden beads and wooden handle in the front. The push handle folds down for easy and convenient storage. This buggy is in overall good condition considering its age. The front wheels are stiff and could use some lubricating. Rare Vintage Stroller for doll or baby This unit it large enough to be used for an actual baby. Some of the noteable features of this carriage include: It folds up for storage or transport. The leg/foot rest adjust from going straight out to pivoting so it is under the seat and virtually unseen. The back rest folds down to the point of the seat. The canopy pivots to either direction. The canopy material had some rips in it- tape. Glue, paint were used to prevent further damage. Has a lever that can be moved to brake a back wheel when parked. All original other than the 2 bolts connecting the canopy to the frame. On the front of the back rest is a girl with a sheep. 4 sliding wooden balls on the front safety bar to be played with. Vintage Antique Iron Wicker Rabbit Bunny Baby Doll Stroller Carriage RARE $750
ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. Even though it may be a marriage of different parts, it is eye catching and has appeal to collectors with a value of $750.00. Even though this carriage is very old. And the one ear has been repaired, it is otherwise in amazing condition! This buggie would be the perfect accessory for anyone who is a doll collector. Or who loves all things unique, antique or Victorian, and of course, for anyone who loves decorating for the Easter holiday! The decorating possibilities are endless! RARE Antique Vintage Welsh Baby Buggy Carriage Stroller 10" Metal Wheels Tires
RARE Welsh Baby Buggy 10" Metal Wheels& Tires These are what I believe to be a very special set of Welsh wheels. I did quite a bit of research and was unable to find anything similar. These were likely wheels used on high-end buggies for the elite. The tires measure 10" in diameter outside to outside. They are made of a hard durable material much like trike tires. The wheels are metal with metal spokes. The center caps are made of hard plastic with the Welsh logo placed in the center. There is one cover still on the buggy and the other 3 are inside the carriage. I am not a antique collector and I do not know anything about this except what I see. It says 1 31 55 on the underneath. And I do not know if this was the date made,but looks to be in that age. It also has metal handles on inside of buggy, one at each end that move. I do not know the make of this beautiful vintage stroller. I took a photo of the emblem. Maybe someone can help me recognize it: This stroller has a beautiful look and turns heads. Gets lots of attention. Don't miss out on a beauty of a converting buggy! Some pictures show collapsing handle and others show the base collapsed. The vinyl is in wonderful shape no tears that I can see, no holes. There is a knob cover that is missing but you can still use the knob. I took a photo of if. All 4 wheels have 1 crack on it.
