The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. Some of the features include: a foot pedal brake, the carriage itself swivels on the frame, the bassinet rotates approximately 160 degrees, the base platform within the carriage has an attached hinged headrest support for range of movement. I believe all of these features are distinguishable from the photos included for this listing. I have examined this doll carriage thoroughly and have not been able to distinguish any markings, stampings or other discernable aspects relating to the manufacturer. When taking the photos, I attempted to display the carriage showing all pertinent characteristics that a potential buyer may be interested in. I made sure to display the unit with any potential problem areas displayed, such as the tires and bottom frame- showing the most noticable wear areas of the hardened rubber tires. This doll carriage was originally purchased or made for my aunt. The dating was determined from other family members who have discussed this at great length. My mother had always admired this carriage during the period of time in which she was becoming acquainted with my father. The point of origin would be northeastern Ohio. Approximately 30 miles northeast of Cleveland, along the lakefront. The dimensions of this doll carriage are 34 in(front of unit to wooden carriage handle) X 18 in(width at top of carriage) X 38 in(height) The weight of this carriage is 38 pounds. Vintage/Antique Wicker Carriage/Buggie~With Vintage Rare Baby Wobbles Doll
For auction is a vintage~anitque? doll buggy/carriage& what I believe to be a rare Baby Wobbles doll. The carriage/buggy is in pretty good condition. It appears to made of wicker. Wood, and a type of metal. It is brown with black frame, and black wheels, with beautiful spiraled supports. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check ... moreover the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. The inside of the buggy is made of a black canvas as is the hood. The buggy stands approx. 11" high and it is 10" from the end of the handle to the back of the hood. The bed of the buggy is 3" deep and 6" wide. The wheels are in excellent working condition. The buggy has no tears or cracks visible. Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. There is a patchwork quilt that measures 25" x 22" in good condition. There is a small pillow with pillowcase that measures 9" x 5 1/2" in good condition. The actual pillow ... morehas stains on it. The carriage itself is set on four black wheels- two smaller wire spoke wheels are in the front, while two larger ones of a similar design are in the back. The wheels(and undercarriage) seem to be crafted out of metal in such a way that they resemble antique wrought iron. The Basket itself is done in a warm wood hue and features a moth- almost butterfly or dragonfly- design. The convertible top appears to the casual observer to be made from a waxed black fabric or oil cloth. Vintage Victorian Wicker Baby Doll Stroller South Bend Toys 1930's to 1940's
This item is adorable with it's wicker work and green. Red, and black pin stripping on the sides. There is some wear on the front top rim, the dome is a bit soft from age and has a bit of wear on the canopy in front, and it is missing one hubcap at rear. I have had this toy carriage in my personal collection since the 80's and loved it sitting in my bedroom filled with dolls. It stands approximately 28" H x 22 L, not including the handle.

Up for auction is a vintage wicker baby/doll stroller from the 1920's. The manufacturers stamp( Lloyds of Menoninee Mich)is is in one of photos. The size of this buggy is 28 inches tall x 28 inches long x 16 inches wide. The condition is good. The wicker is a beige tone and all intact. There are no broken wicker strands. The frame is metal and the handle is wood. The top of the buggy is moveable from front to back. The wheels are almost void of rubber but they still turn on the steel axel. You can replace the wheels by removing the cap at the end of each wheel. Removing the cotter pin and inserting a new wheel. The doll in the photos. Riding in the buggy is 18 inches long. She is not for sale unless we agree on a price for her. My purpose is to sell the buggy not the doll. The Lloyds stamp says the Wicker process was patened in 1917. ... moreSpecifically Oct 16, 1917. Antique White Wicker DOLL Buggy. Complete with Pink Bedding- Description: This baby doll buggy stroller is in good condition. The basket is woven wicker and the paint is original ivory. The frame is black iron and the hardware is also black. The hood on the basket is adjustable so you can see into the basket from either end. The hood has two peep holes on the sides. So mom can catch a glimpse of the little one. There is an adjustable catch panel inside the basket as well so the baby can lay back further. Good wicker condition. Metal frame very slightly crooked; only noticeable from the front. Paint appears to be original; it would benefit from a touch-up but I wanted to keep it's character. The wheels are wood with hard rubber rims. There is a locking mechanism for the wheels. Push the pedal by the back wheels down and the front wheels ... morewill lock in place. The handle has a wood grip in the center of the bar. This buggy is in every good condition for its age. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. It is a little off center but that doesn't affect its' use. This piece measures 26 inches tall, 12 inches side to side and 27 inches front to back. It can be disassembled for shipping.

I THINK this is a reproduction really beautiful wicker baby buggy on metal frame. Rubber rimmed metal wheels. Buggy is in excellent. The buggy is white with beige trim. Some of the screws and bolts are been replaced. It is 33" x 13" x 30" up at the handle. 22 1/2 up to top of buggy. It has twine/strings that hold up the top that hook to little knobs on the top of the basket part of the buggy. It has a little pillow that comes with it but no other bedding. Thank you for looking. The carriage itself is set on four black wheels- two smaller wire spoke wheels are in the front, while two larger ones of a similar design are in the back. The wheels(and undercarriage) seem to be crafted out of metal in such a way that they resemble antique wrought iron. The Basket itself is done in a warm wood hue and features a moth- almost butterfly or dragonfly- design. The convertible top appears to the casual observer to be made from a waxed black fabric or oil cloth. This is my vintage baby doll carriage from 1968 that was purchased at Gimbel's dept store. It is in good condition. With 1 slight break in the wicker wood on the top. I don't know the maker there aren't any obvious markings I could identify. There is some wear from use and age, please refer to actual pictures. Antique O.W. Siebert Wicker Perambulator, Baby Carriage, Large Doll Size Pram
This auction is for an antique large doll size pram made by the"O.W. Siebert Co" of Gardner. Massachusetts. It is in good working condition however there is some damage to the wicker on the front of the pram(as seen in photos)and the inside shows signs of age but it is all original. The rubber tires with wood spoked wheels roll easily and the hood and footwell adjust as designed. Even the brake/wheel lock still operates correctly. Over the years we have used this lovely piece as an end table. Plant stand, a display for antique dolls and even as a baby carriage for our daughter as she was quite small. THE BACK BRACE ON THE TOP NEEDS, TO BE SCREWED BACK INTO THE WICKER(ONE SPOT, BRASS SCREW) THE SIDES ARE FINE. WHEELS ROLL GREAT, THE WICKER IS VERY FINE SHAPE. Up for auction is an Antique Baby/ Doll carriage from the early 1900's. It looks so cute on display with a doll in it. The doll carriage measures 22in high from floor to top and 32in from floor to the top of hood of the carriage and the inside where the doll goes is 23in long. I bought this carriage years ago at auction. I have acquired a second carriage and do not have room for the both of them. This carriage is in good condition for its age. The material inside the carriage is a bit dirty with some spots. I have not tried to clean it. Please be sure to read my shipping and handling information before bidding. Vintage Wicker Doll Stroller - Age And Origin Unknown
This appears to be a very old stroller. Origin and age unknown. The woman I bought it from could tell me only that it belonged to her grandfather. It is very dirty and other a little brush-up, it will stay that way until the new owner decides what to do. I won't chance destroying the patina. There are no screws in the frame, only rivets, and they appear to have been there a long time. I know there are ways of faking things by burying them but if you did that the iron would be rusty. It isn't. The wicker is very hard and brittle but strong and broken only one place, a loop on the right side of the seat has broken off. It seems to have been stored for a long time and must have been gently used before that. I can't find any markings of manufacture anywhere on it, although it could be hidden by the grime. I am by no means an expert, ... morebut I would guess it to be pre-1900. The handle and all other parts appear to be original and I can't imagine anyone today having the skills to make something like this. If anyone has theories or information about it I would really be interested in hearing from you. I am setting the price rather high because frankly, I don't care that much whether it sells or not. Vintage Antique WICKER BABY Doll Toy Carriage Buggy Stroller WOOD Handle NICE!!
What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. Bed(interior wooden lie down area) is 13" long.will fit dolls up to this length comfortably. The overall body integrity of this buggy is excellent! This is an example of a period carriage from the late 1800's or early 1900's. We can guarantee you this is an original manufacture for the time. This buggy will make an excellent working display piece for your collection. PLEASE NOTE: The shipping quote is for the buggy being shipped in its assembled condition.
