Simply amazing Estate Sale find. It is wicker and canvas and wood and steel wheels. The condition is very very good. It is dirty and needs a good cleaning. It has clearly been in a barn for a long time. I am not going to clean it. I'll leave it to the new owners. There are a couple of flaws. One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. I did buy it at an estate sale and it had an old faded hand written tag on it for $375. A great restoration project in the making. The wheels have wooden spokes. A steel rim, and appear to be wrapped in a hard rubber. The spokes on three of the wheels are in tact and strong. One of the large wheels is missing a spoke, has a loose one, and has a loose one with a crack in the end of the wood. We can see the end of the spoke, the rim side on the loose one, has a pin in the top of the wood that appears to have been pinned through the rim. 11 1/2" diameter with the hub having a 1/2" diameter center hole. Hub is 2 3/8" in depth. Paint on the wooden hubs and spokes is original and sort of a yellowish cream with one side being accented with red striping. Rubber on the tires is good with one having about a 3/16" separation between the rubber joint. Rims are steel. They're pretty nice. WELCOME TO MY AUCTION For sale today is a real neat antique or vintage wooden baby walker. This old walker will fold down for transporting. It has a circular wooden top and wooden tray and a metal foot rest. The ring is made of hard wood. The seat is of heavy cloth and still in good shape, the seat is threaded onto a heavy wire ring mounted just under the top wooden ring. The ring is mounted in three places and the cloth is a little frayed where it was cut and sewed for the connecting. The tray is attached to the wooden ring. Has a little rabbit decal, the tray has some damage to the surface, there is a picture of the tray included. The frame measures 18”X23” and will fold down flat to about 4” Has steel wheels on it. Needs one lower arm rivet replaced, comes off sometimes when folding the walker. I see no name on this nice walker. It is ... morein good shape for the years. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. The Genuine Taylor Tot Antique Vtg. Metal/Wood Baby Stroller - Restoration/Parts
I have here another rare find! It’s The Genuine Taylor Tot Stroller made by the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. The wheels are signed) I don’t know what year this model is. But it looks to be more complete than many I’ve seen. It does have the metal foot tray which I know is hard to find these days. It also came with some sort of collapsible canopy which I’ve not seen before. I’m assuming it goes with this stroller– but I haven’t figured out how to attach it. So it’s possible something is missing(parts or simply know-how) that would make attaching it feasible. The zipper on the canopy does work. Though. The stroller also has all 4 wheels and they function just fine. And it has its original wood seat. Please note the fabric is just about worn to a frazzle. I had more pictures– but I couldn’t include them all because I exceeded the maximum# ... moreallowed. But there are rips and tears in it. The staples have pulled out in several places, and, of course, it’s very faded. The chrome is surprisingly in pretty good shape. The stroller does fold up to an extent. I tried to show this in my pictures. But I don’t know if it folds up anymore than you see pictured– or if I just didn’t know what I was doing. That technique might take some practice. J This would certainly be a fantastic piece to restore or to use for parts in your other restorations. You choose. Antique Wood and Metal Doll Buggy, Restored
Doll Buggy was restored about ten years ago. But has original wheels, wooden body and metal frame. The hood is new. I was told it was originally from the mid 1800's, but I don't have any proof. It measures 30" high and 32" long. In excellent condition and rolls easily.

In the Joel Ellis style, circa 1870s. It measures 33" from the handle to the front wheels, 23 1/2" from the handle down and 30" from the top of the metal hook down. The carriage is wood with a scalloped edge, looks like original paint, the wheels are also wood. There is a curved metal support under the carriage, a portion of one bracket is missing. The metal piece in front of the handle may have held some type of cover that is gone now. The wheels wobble and are intact. The interior of the carriage is partially lined with antique wallpaper. Antique baby carriage buggy 1800's wood metal leather PRAM parasol cover Large
Very Nice 1800's baby carriage that has been restored. It is in excellent condition having been stored for last 10 years and not display. While this is not our expertise we will answer any questions. This is baby or small child size not a doll size. It is fairly large measuring approx 45" to top of parasol approx 50" long from handle to front. 24" wide at wheels. Parasol measures 21"x16" Front wheels approx 20" diameter. Rear wheels approx 24" diameter. The previous owners spent $1,200 restoring it to display in their home. It is upholstered in what appears to be leather. The frame is metal and the handle is turned wood. The wheels are wood. There are 2 screws missing that we have noticed, one that holds the head rest detail at one end(the other end connects to parasol upright) and one screw where the ... morepush handle joins the back of the carriage seat(it is one of 4) doesn't affect performance. Easy fixes obviously, just pointing out what we observed. The canopy or parasol leans slightly to the left when viewed from rear(not a big deal and the head rest screw may fix the lean) Black sides and rear covers were made in 3 pieces and snap on at top and bottom and have a strap that allow them to be unsnapped at the bottom and rolled up and tied at the top. The rear panel has small window. Having been restored I know for the purist it is not in original condition but it was professionally done. The wheels and frame have gold detail on black that is very striking. It is in display ready condition. While this is available for local pick up we will assist in shipping or freight any way possible. Note FREE shipping is to the contiguous 48 states and assumes basic dis-assembly taking the wheels. Push handle and parasol off to be reassembled at final destination in order not to exceed maximum shipping dimensions. Also not that this will still be a very large box with signature required.
