The binding shows some age wear but still intact with minor area starting to pull away and will need re-tacking(think the pictures show it well) There are some thin areas and a few small holes that we noted in the blanket and we tried to picture so you are not expecting a blanket free from holes and mint. They are there but not easily seen when being used. But certainly very good. I can find no holes in the wicker, but there are some very small spots of worn or chipped paint(does not appear to be re-painted) and I can see a small section(1/2 inch) of missing braided trim on the footrest(check photo close-up) Top works well, wheels turn well, and it seems to be quite sturdy all around. Looks like the interior lining is missing(as seen in first pic) but these can be easily re-lined by an experienced doll collector/restorer. Nice size, as it is not too large for storing and perfect for displaying a seated doll. The Genuine Taylor Tot Antique Vtg. Metal/Wood Baby Stroller - Restoration/Parts
I have here another rare find! It’s The Genuine Taylor Tot Stroller made by the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. The wheels are signed) I don’t know what year this model is. But it looks to be more complete than many I’ve seen. It does have the metal foot tray which I know is hard to find these days. It also came with some sort of collapsible canopy which I’ve not seen before. I’m assuming it goes with this stroller– but I haven’t figured out how to attach it. So it’s possible something is missing(parts or simply know-how) that would make attaching it feasible. The zipper on the canopy does work. Though. The stroller also has all 4 wheels and they function just fine. And it has its original wood seat. Please note the fabric is just about worn to a frazzle. I had more pictures– but I couldn’t include them all because I exceeded the maximum# ... moreallowed. But there are rips and tears in it. The staples have pulled out in several places, and, of course, it’s very faded. The chrome is surprisingly in pretty good shape. The stroller does fold up to an extent. I tried to show this in my pictures. But I don’t know if it folds up anymore than you see pictured– or if I just didn’t know what I was doing. That technique might take some practice. J This would certainly be a fantastic piece to restore or to use for parts in your other restorations. You choose. The inside is covered with a soft, textured crème colored material, and it's in good shape. I believe it is from the late 1800's and quite a beautiful and unique piece. It could and actually should be placed in a museum. This is a quality carriage and quite large. It measures approximately 43" long, without handle and 26" wide(Hub to Hub) The basket size is approximately 33" L x 19" w and the height is approximately 60" as pictured but the umbrella is adjustable. Handle to front of wheel measures about 53" The spoked front wheels are approximately 20" in diameter and the larger rear wheels are approximately 22" in diameter. The original padding, one side pink, the other side blue is faded with some stains but still ... morein great condition for its age. The umbrella is stained some too but when I originally acquired it, I removed the stains. I did this by carefully applying a stain remover. I don't know anything about this buggy, other than it is marked on the bottom piece of wood"Patent Applied" I think) It is in rough shape but I thought someone might want for parts or to restore. The metal is bent a little and the handle bars where they attach to the wood on bottom are missing one square nut. The metal brackets that hold the hood on are bent. It has some of the original cloth in obvious tattered condition. The end folds down. The wicker on the sides are in pretty good shape and would make good replacement panels for another buggie. No markings so I cannot tell if this is a reproduction. Dimensions are: 9" length, 10 1/2" height, 5 1/2" width, wheels are 2 1/2" in diameter. A very smart Ebayer suggested that this would make a lovely photo prop. It is not large enough to hold a baby. But a child dressed in victorian christening dress, holding this lace covered.toy would make a very pretty picture. Note: someone just told me that because the wheels are wooden. Not metal, that this is a reproduction. I don't know.

Vintage Welsh Easy Fold Collapsible Baby Doll Carriage. It measures approximately 23 inches from front to back(not including the handle) It is turquoise green and has red edges and decorative lines. The frame is all metal and the buggy is a cloth vinyl like material. The rubber on the tires are worn however it does still roll easily. There are some small tears in the canopy. And also a small tear along a bottom seam. There is age appropriate oxidization. This is a a great piece for any collection. Display, merchandising or play, or for a good project to restore. Vtg '50s Blue Wards Taylor Tot? Baby Stroller/Walker w/Art Deco Fenders
Estate find! Original with wear and surface rust(the tray seems to be the worst) Overall good condition. Wheels roll and in my opinon are in good shape. Needs restoring or display as is. Rubber bumpers seem to be in decent shape in my opinion. Handles and foot rest detach and will be shipped that way. Wood handles are in great shape and seem to be made of oak. I would imagine the seat is. Too, but can't say for sure. Wood beads are faded. Only a couple of screws are missing- easily replaced by your friendly, neighborhood hardware store employee. This has a parking brake. There is a lever located between the two rear wheels which activate rods that fit into holes on the inner rims of the rear wheels to lock movement. Pretty simple! Stylish. Art deco style fenders. Lovely baby blue color. Beads on tray kept the toddler entertained. Paint ... moreon wooden areas shows wear. Label on seat is barely legible but'WARDS' and'Walker' can be made out. This may have been made for Wards by Taylor Tot. It looks like the Taylor Tots I've seen but I cannot say that it is a Taylor Tot for sure. Welsh Easy Tow Vintage baby doll stroller from the late 40's. Early 50's. The primary color is grey with white seams. There is a dark green stripe. Some wrinkles and dust from storage but has aged very well. The buggy is easy to set upright and collapse to folding position. The hood moves easily into position. The cover has a snap that is no longer attached to the material. It would need to be repaired to use this cover(snap is present) All other parts work the way they should. Buggy shows age& wear. Up for auction is a Vintage 1940's-1950's Original Taylor Tot Baby Stroller/Walker. This stroller can be converted into a Walker by removing the push bar and the bottom foot rest. Stroller is blue in color with a white seat. Its made of metal and the seat is wood. There are wooden beads across the front bar for the child's entertainment. It measures approx. 26" long(Bumper to Bumper)x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper)x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It also has a folding handle for storage. It was made in Ohio. It has wear from age and use and has not had any cleaning, polishing, or repairs. The fabric(vinyl-like canvas) is has holes both in the bonnet and in the bottom, has stains, and is worn, brittle, and dirty. The metal has worn paint and corrosion. One of the wood pieces that the wheel connects to is broken. There is some split wood on the bent wood(picture 10) and the rest of the wood is soiled, scuffed, and scraped. The paint on the wheels is worn and scraped. One side of the stroller doesn't stay up, so when open, that side sags. The bonnet doesn't stay up. This is a great vintage stroller with a really cool retro. Classic look. This piece was made by Thayer in the United States in the 1950's. It features a pressed steel construction with hard rubber wheels. The stroller is large enough to fit a toddler and has a small tray and wooden handle in front so you can give the child toys and they can hold onto the handles. The stroller has seat with holes for the child's legs and comes with padding for both the seat and back of the seat.
