This is a very cool vintage toy baby stroller made out of wood with an iron frame I believe. The handle is turned wood and the wooden bed is painted brown and has a gold floral accent on each side. It is in great condition for the age but does have plenty of wear particularly to the paint and wheels. The back board does have a split in it but isn't separated and not really a big deal since you won't be pushing a real baby in it! It does not have a cover any longer but does have the holes that would hold one and it would be an easy project to construct a sun cover for the toy. This piece would make a great display piece in a vintage decor or for a doll collector. It stands 26 inches tall. 27 inches long and 10 inches wide. Very Vintage metal and wood Taylor Tot toddler stroller. Marked on the bottom of the seat as Model P-45. Which dates this to approximately late 1940s or early 1950s. Seems to be all original with the exception of a wing nut and bolt on the mid-section of the handle. Also one of the bumper nuts/bolts looks to have been replaced at some point. Does not look to have been restored at all and there is wear to the bumpers(the rubber has hardened and cracked over time) and also general overall wear, commensurate with age and use. The wood seat appears to have the original paint and the wood is dry and has visible line cracks. Measures approximately 26" long from bumper to bumper. It measures approximately 23 inches from front to back(not including the handle) It is gray and has white edges and decorative lines. The frame is all metal and the buggy is a cloth vinyl like material. The rubber on the tires are worn and show some missing pieces. However it does still roll easily. I THINK this is a reproduction really beautiful wicker baby buggy on metal frame. Rubber rimmed metal wheels. Buggy is in excellent. The buggy is white with beige trim. Some of the screws and bolts are been replaced. It is 33" x 13" x 30" up at the handle. 22 1/2 up to top of buggy. It has twine/strings that hold up the top that hook to little knobs on the top of the basket part of the buggy. It has a little pillow that comes with it but no other bedding. Thank you for looking. Who said it was theirs when they were small, and that person is 55 years old. I am not sure what material the buggy is made out of. But the material feels like the material of a shower curtain. Measurement: buggy is about 20 inches long. Around 23 to 24 inches tall from the floor to the very top and about 9 inches wide. Contents: 1950's pink and flower designed metal Baby Doll Carriage/Buggy. Condition: a large part of the material connecting around the metal bars is either torn off or has cuts or slits. This is primarily the case on the top parts of the buggy. The material also has some dirty parts and stains in certain areas. Primarily noticeable on the pink area. The metal parts of the buggy are still ... morein good shape. With only minor rusting in certain areas. The buggy still folds up okay and the wheels are still in pretty good shape and the buggy still rolls nicely. There are minor dents and leans on some of the metal areas. The Genuine Taylor Tot Antique Vtg. Metal/Wood Baby Stroller - Restoration/Parts
I have here another rare find! It’s The Genuine Taylor Tot Stroller made by the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. The wheels are signed) I don’t know what year this model is. But it looks to be more complete than many I’ve seen. It does have the metal foot tray which I know is hard to find these days. It also came with some sort of collapsible canopy which I’ve not seen before. I’m assuming it goes with this stroller– but I haven’t figured out how to attach it. So it’s possible something is missing(parts or simply know-how) that would make attaching it feasible. The zipper on the canopy does work. Though. The stroller also has all 4 wheels and they function just fine. And it has its original wood seat. Please note the fabric is just about worn to a frazzle. I had more pictures– but I couldn’t include them all because I exceeded the maximum# ... moreallowed. But there are rips and tears in it. The staples have pulled out in several places, and, of course, it’s very faded. The chrome is surprisingly in pretty good shape. The stroller does fold up to an extent. I tried to show this in my pictures. But I don’t know if it folds up anymore than you see pictured– or if I just didn’t know what I was doing. That technique might take some practice. J This would certainly be a fantastic piece to restore or to use for parts in your other restorations. You choose. Has three wheels, and a corregated plastic tube around the top hande to be soft on small hands. Across the front are five multi-colored plastic'babies' that spin when touched. The only damage to this walker is that the one in the middle has lost it's head! To operate the baby would stand behind the walker between the two back wheels and push. This particular pram was manufactured by Coronet. This fantastic baby doll pram is a jewel. The outside of the bed is a colonial blue with white design trimming and accents. The inside of the bed is white. The hood is the same blue as the bed and white. On both sides of the bed is a royal silver emblem that has a crown in the center flanked on either side by protective mystical creatures. A very regal emblem. The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The baby doll carriage has a hood that protects baby from the outside elements. ... moreThis hood also has the ability to be put down and to lay flat. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This item would make a great addition to any baby doll Pram collection. An awesome antique piece. Exact age and make unknown. There are visible signs of wear such as some broken pieces of wicker( which I tried to take pictures of) and wear on interior cloth. The handle is in good condition and is of metal and wood and the wheels are in excellent shape. Would make a great photo prop!

Vintage Wicker Pram Welcome! This pram is at least 40 years old. The owner received it for her child that long ago and said it was old then so perhaps it is antique. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Glides and turns smoothly, etc. It is very sturdy and was well made and will collapse for easy storage. It has a very faint smell of smoke to it from having been stored in a smoker's home; otherwise it is very clean. Since I have acquired it, I have noticed much of the odor has dissipated.
