The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. Vintage/Antique Wicker Carriage/Buggie~With Vintage Rare Baby Wobbles Doll
For auction is a vintage~anitque? doll buggy/carriage& what I believe to be a rare Baby Wobbles doll. The carriage/buggy is in pretty good condition. It appears to made of wicker. Wood, and a type of metal. It is brown with black frame, and black wheels, with beautiful spiraled supports. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check ... moreover the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BLUE WHITE AND CHROME BABY BUGGY PRAM STROLLER. IT IS IN VERY GOOD USED CONDITION. NOT SURE OF THE AGE BUT BELIEVE IT TO BE AROUND THE MID-CENTURY ERA OR EARLIER. THE 4 SPRINGS CAN BE REMOVED SO THAT THE BASE CAN BE TAKEN OFF. IT MEASURES ABOUT 33 INCHES HANDLE TO FURTHEST PLACE IN FRONT. 15 1/2 INCHES AT THE WIDEST PART WHICH IS WHEEL TO WHEEL. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BABY DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE PRAM BASKET SHAPE NATURAL WICKER
Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. Up for sale is our family's Antique Wicker Baby Carriage/Buggy from The National company in Perrysburg. Ohio. This was purchased for my Grandfather, an only child and then 20 years later used for his daughters, then my mother used it for me. It has since been stored indoors for over 60 years. I have used it as a beautiful decoration with artificial flowers during the year and filled with fake wrapped presents at Christmas time. I remember my mother giving a baby shower for a friend and having me push the buggy in filled with wrapped presents. All the parts work on this buggy, and there is a little hidden compartment in the bottom that is covered with a fold back cloth top for keeping valuables, diapers, etc. The wooden wheels are beautiful. This is in its original condition. It measures approximately: 45-1/2 in. high with the bonnet in ... morean upright position, the entire length is approximately 47-1/2 in. long with the bonnet down, and 46 in. with the bonnet up. The wicker body only withe the bonnet down is approximately 33-1/2 in. long. The Bonnet is 21-1/2 in wide. The wood wheels are 14-1/4 in. across. This is pick up only, though I do travel a little so possibly an arrangement can be made for delivery or to meet part way. I am selling this only because I have downsized and neither of my two children likes or wants this-they are not into antiques. This would look so gorgeous on a large porch with flowers in it, or as it was meant to be used for a baby. Please be aware that I do not accept returns. There is no reserve price on this. This very old antique buggy/carriage was recently pulled out of a 100+ year old barn in rural Colorado. The buggy folds up. Is made of metal and wood, the wheels all have original rubber, looks to be very old.There is a makers name(see pic) but I cannot make out what it says. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. Please check all photos carefully. And let me know if you want more. There is also surface oxidation and rust on the metal parts and paint loss on the handle. The top has two handles that allow the top to be lowered to allow the sun to shine in. The inside is padded. But does show vintage signs of age. There are no rips or tears in the black canvas, but there was an original repair done in one spot. The steel frame and wheels shows signs of rust and, but it still rolls perfectly. there is a slight bend to one of the handles and there is a small split below the center rail. Up for auction is an Antique Victorian Baby Carriage Buggy with Canopy. I believe the carriage is from the 1800's. It measures 54" long from the handle bar to the end of the front wheel. The width is 21" The height to the top of the carriage canopy is 45 1/2" The height when measured to the top of the baby basket is 32" The baby basket is 36" long& 16 1/2" wide. Two of the carriage wheels measure 22" the other two wheels measure 20" The hardware that holds the carriage canopy is made of bronze. The canopy is adjustable& removable. The lower portion of the wooden arms that connect to the handle bar have been reinforced. Simply amazing Estate Sale find. It is wicker and canvas and wood and steel wheels. The condition is very very good. It is dirty and needs a good cleaning. It has clearly been in a barn for a long time. I am not going to clean it. I'll leave it to the new owners. There are a couple of flaws. One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. I did buy it at an estate sale and it had an old faded hand written tag on it for $375. Untitled Document Antique Wicker carriage rocker with lace canopy. For Life sized Dolls This beautiful condition wicker carriage. Is in excellent antique condition. This is large enough to put a real life sized doll baby into and add your own bedding linens. Just carriage measures approx. 25" x 18" X 14" without the canopy. It comes with what you see here in the photos. The original pillow and bedding materials shown and the vintage lace canopy with ribbons and bows shown. I don't believe the canopy wire frame is original. It is not well attached and is really just for show. You are buying the antique wicker rocker carriage and the rest is just added in. The wicker carriage is very well constructed with a solid hard wood bottom as shown too. The few I have seen have all been in poorer condition with a lot of broken wicker ... moreand cracked or missing wood bottoms. This one is choice! The Wicker is quite delicate. So no international shipping on this one, sorry. This is a rare find and rarer still to find one like this in such fantastic shape! I usually ship free. The wheels do turn and you can push the carriage if desired. The handle is a turned wood. The seat has been recovered and we are including the matching ruffled seat blanket. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage from the late 1800's to the early 1900's in nearly mint condition The carriage body is made of wicker with a metal frame. It appears to have never been painted. The wheels still maintain their original rubber on steel spokes. The carriage top is adjustable to flip forward or back to block sunlight as needed. The foot rest is also adjustable to fit an infant to a toddler to a sitting or prone position. All moving parts work. There are no manufacturer tags or marks that I can find. It measures 43” long from handle to end of foot rest. And is 40” tall x 22 ½” wide. It is wonderful! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Please do not expect vintage. Antique Covered Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy
Antique Wicker Baby Carriage. This full-size buggy has an adjustable canopy. There is no lining on the inside bottom. Wood handle& wood spoke wheels measuring 13 ¼” diameter. Hard rubber tires(well used) parking brake. The canopy slides forward. Both bars for that are there and they work but one is somewhat bent. It still rolls very smooth and easy. This would be nice if restored. I bought and used it for display only for antique dolls and baby quilts and clothes for the past 25 years. The buggy measures 34 ½ inches high from floor to handle without bonnet. The front wheels still have the rubber on them but the rubber is dried out and hard. The back wheels do not have the rubber on them. It appears the wicker was originally mint green. Most of that color is off. The carriage does not include the doll or blankets shown in pictures.

Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. The carriage itself is set on four black wheels- two smaller wire spoke wheels are in the front, while two larger ones of a similar design are in the back. The wheels(and undercarriage) seem to be crafted out of metal in such a way that they resemble antique wrought iron. The Basket itself is done in a warm wood hue and features a moth- almost butterfly or dragonfly- design. The convertible top appears to the casual observer to be made from a waxed black fabric or oil cloth. Antique 1900's Victorian baby carriage / stroller - Geo W. Travers, NYC
You are looking at a Victorian era antique wicker baby stroller by Geo W. Travers of New York City. I'm not sure exactly what year this was made. However after doing some internet research, it seems that it's from the early 1900's. I purchased this lovely piece at a Victorian antique store in Belvidere, New Jersey about 14 years ago. Years ago, it was once painted and the paint was removed some time after that as you can see from the detail in the photos. The bottom lifts up as you can see between photo 1 and photo 2. Everything is all original and I have done nothing to this piece as to not affect the antique value of it. The wheels are green with black rubber on them. Slightly worn but not badly at all. A great restoration project in the making. The wheels have wooden spokes. A steel rim, and appear to be wrapped in a hard rubber. The spokes on three of the wheels are in tact and strong. One of the large wheels is missing a spoke, has a loose one, and has a loose one with a crack in the end of the wood. We can see the end of the spoke, the rim side on the loose one, has a pin in the top of the wood that appears to have been pinned through the rim. This auction is for two antique/ vintage tricycle. Pedal car, toy car or baby carriage wheels with tires. Obviously. I do not know what they fit. I’ve acquired antique pedal car. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. The tire diameter of is approx 5 inches. With a width of ¾ inches. The wheel diameter is approx. 3 3/8 inches. There is some surface rust in spots and scrapes in the paint. There are no markings on the tires to indicate make. Here’s the weird part; they have different diameter axle holes with one at.318. Or 5/16 inches and the other at ½ inch. Possibly one is a front and the other a rear? Please contact seller with any questions prior to bidding.
