TAYLOR TOT STROLLER CIRCA 1940's/1950's
Details. Details, Details, they have all been covered with this Restored Taylor Tot. New hard rock maple seat and new oak handles. All wooden parts have 7 coats of hand rubbed Marine Spar Urethane Finish. All metal parts media blasted and repaired as needed then powder coated Sandalwood Beige, with Sunfire Orange wheels and insert. Pinstriped with Desert Gold and Royal Purple. New clear vinyl bumper covers and new wooden beads. All new stainless steel hardware and machined self oiling bronze bushings on front casters. New wheels and tires. Stroller is late 40's early 50's P-45 from the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. My Grandchildren love theirs as any kid would with a ride this cool.

And the wheels appear to have seen a little red touch up paint in some decade long gone by, but overall its in wonderful shape. Its also incredibly strong- I have a 35 loud 18 month old boy who hasn't gotten off it in nearly a week, and he bounces and gives it his best and it doesn't make a sound. Its a toy from the age when toys didn't break when played with, and could be passed down to the next generation still intact and ready for use. Vintage PAL baby stroller 1940 - 1950.s era
This is an antique and or vintage baby stroller"pal" produced by the La Forte Corporation of La Forte. Indiana, and is from the 40's or 50's. As the pictures show it is in relatively fair to good condition. As can be seen the decal on the seat is still complete, there is some wear that can be seen but the stroller is still usable for a child or for an accent piece for the antique lover. From a smoke free home. I estimate the shipping weight at between 15 to 20 pounds and I will ship this item by whatever mode you desire. I will also be open to the item being picked up at my home north of Dayton, Ohio.

All Original. PAL baby stroller/walker from the 40-50's? This has been stored out of weather always. The sticker is still complete and in wonderful condition. There is minor surface rust on top tray. All rubber is original on bumpers. The handle latch still works. Easily remove the handle for storage or to turn into walker. Still all works. Rolls wonderful, tires like new. One exactly like this was on Rick's Restoration show on History Channel and was valued at 1700.00. This one would need very minor sanding and repainting of the tray if u wanted it perfect. The seat is made of wood and in great shape. The bottom foot tray is in excellent condition and removing it turns it from the stroller into the walker. The handle and wood on it perfect. Up for auction is a Vintage 1940's-1950's Original Taylor Tot Baby Stroller/Walker. This stroller can be converted into a Walker by removing the push bar and the bottom foot rest. Stroller is blue in color with a white seat. Its made of metal and the seat is wood. There are wooden beads across the front bar for the child's entertainment. It measures approx. 26" long(Bumper to Bumper)x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper)x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It also has a folding handle for storage. It was made in Ohio. The HTF Fenders give it the Retro deco look! The stroller shows the typical wear from age and use as in, paint loss, rust, cracks in the wood and scratches. All parts work the way they should.Missing the rear bumper. Looks as if someone tried to print this one at one time.

Up for consideration is a Vintage Original 1940's/1950's Blue and White Taylor Tot Child's Stroller/Walker. There are now markings so I am not sure that this is a"Taylor Tot" The ones that looks like mine are describing it this way It measures approx. 25" Long(from bumper to bumper) x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper in front) x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It has all the typical wear from age and use as in. Dings, scratches, paint loss, cracks in wood, and rust. The fenders are missing. The rubber coating does have some ware(last 2 photos) The seat is made of wood and it has wooden beads across the front for the child's entertainment. I'm not an expert on these strollers so I'm not sure what other parts if any that its missing. All parts work the way they should.
