Up for sale is spoked hand wheel from an antique Singer sewing machine model 128. This part was removed from a running model 128 machine with a serial number of G0161326 which dates it to 1923. Part number 15282. 5-1/2" outside diameter and 0.8" inside diameter. Nice original paint and plating. No rust. No cracks, no dents and no repairs. A real nice part. This auction is for an authentic ancient Roman bronze umbonate brooch dated 0-300 AD( more than 1700 years old) This brooch has a fabulous spoked wheel design with beautiful red enamel. Traces of silver coating and beautiful patina. It has some chipped edges and is missing its pin. It is in sturdy condition. Measures 25mm in length. Found in Europe. Vintage Industrial Foundry Mold Spoked Cog Wheel 32"
For your consideration is this incredible. Huge foundry mold wheel that measures 32" across. This wooden foundry gear mold is from the late 1800's. The foundry used these molds in a sand casting process to produce the items in cast iron. The molds were made by specially skilled craftsmen, whose precision woodworking, made perfect replicas of the cast iron piece that their customers requested. This spoked wheel is a great old piece of American Industrial history, wonderful for industrial urban decor. We have other foundry molds, please check our other listings. It is painted black, yellow and red with a silver sheen( this was used a releasing agent during the casting process) as pictured and some of the paint is missing and it is rough in places from it's use in the foundry. The wheel measures 32" in diameter by 3 7/8" ... moredeep and the spoked area is 26 1/2" across, the yellow center is 8" across. It has a basic spoked wheel design and measures about 7/8" This button is in very good condition with no damage. But there is considerable wear to the plating and some of the stones are darkish/shadowy. The pastes in this piece were never blindingly white, like the Swarovski we're used to seeing today, and were always slightly gray or a few shades off of pure white. But some of the pastes are still ... morea bit darker than they should be. Since they're prong-set. This should be an easy enough repair if it bothers you, and if you're lucky enough to have some old stones in the correct size, but it really isn't necessary- this button looks beautiful just the way it is. Here is an antique cast iron pulley that screws into the wall. Ceiling, beam, etc. It has a japan finish and a silver wheel. We are not sure if the wheel is painted or plated with nickel or zinc. There is a little surface rust where the metal is unfinished. The wheel is 2- 3/8" in diameter. The overall length is 5- 5/8" and the screw is 2- 1/16" long. The wheel is 7/16" th ick. Turns freely, and has a fair amount of play(its wobbly) But it is perfectly functional. This old pulley wheel has spokes that add visual interest. If you have any questions. Please ask.

No idea what it came out of but certainly a nice piece for an antique boat restoration or to repurpose as a a lamp or something. Measures 12" in dia. Must be iron because it is magnetic but does not have any rust. A few of the wooden handle are split. There is just one that is missing some pieces. Has a wooden spool attached to the back, looks like a giant sewing thread spool. Just noticed a neat detail: only one of the wooden handles has three grooves turned into it. I was invited, with others, to tender for the job of clearing a bungalow and adjacent outbuildings prior to their sale, I viewed the premises, submitted my offer and promptly forgot about it. As I remember, the job was a dual application where the bungalow and the buildings had to be valued and priced separately. Some very stringent specifications were imposed as to when the work could commence, vehicular and pedestrian access and a whole rainbow of minor regulations. However, my tender ticked all the right boxes for just one part of the job. This was to empty and remove the contents of the outbuildings. Frankly, I was overjoyed at this news as it was closer to the main road, had easier access and was far less labour intensive and of course as ... moreeveryone knows, stuff dumped in sheds and garages is invariably'out of favour and no longer required' To verify this last statement the buildings did contain a lot of'junk' but also some very collectable and saleable goods even though some of them were seriously outmoded. Many toys and models in varying states of repair were recovered. Some were construction jobs as in Meccano, others as yet un-made, were in the form of ships and boats. Some toys were boxed and almost new. Others, as in the case of the model aircraft, had all been built many years ago and well flown. Musical instruments of various types were recovered. These, according to an executive who was present at the time, had all been used and passed down the family over the years. Suffice it to say, a lot of useful items were recovered, some as old as Adam himself and others in between! My intention was to offer them in time for Christmas but due to pressure of business it would appear that I have left it a tad late. Nice Antique Domestic Vibrator Chrome Nickel Sewing Machine Spoked Balance Wheel
This is a Nice Antique Domestic Treadle Sewing Machine Balance Wheel. It came from an antique Domestic Vibrator sewing machine from about 1910. This machine was also sold as The Franklin by Sears. The Franklin was a rebadged Domestic machine that was modeled after the Singer 27. It will only fit Domestic and Franklin machines that look identical to the example pictured. The black paint is in good condition with some wear. The nickel plating around the wheel is nice with some very small black spots from flaked plating. It has an antique appearance. The release nut is discolored. It measures 5-3/4" diameter. The mounting hole is 3/4" diameter and 1-1/8" deep. The ring is 2-7/8" diameter where the belt rides.
