Displaying a doll collection. Or pushing your little angel around town. Update: I had a local seamstress sew a beautiful new cover for the parasol with lace. See new photos. And I will include the old pattern with the carriage. But this really made a wonderful addition to this carriage. The material is free floating and not sewn into the umbrella. And this could be done for a tighter fit. But this way the material is not under stress for display. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the ... morehandle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any damage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is new(see update above) So the only damage is on the wicker footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. Very cool antique baby stroller. Black; Victorian style; unknown age- I don't know how old this is but it looks rather Victorian- late 1800's or early 1900's? It's obviously seen its best days. But it's a survivor. Looks like it's all complete. Would look great as is or you could restore it. Wheels spin freely. The bonnet top opens and closes. But could use some oil. Obviously the bonnet top is in bad shape. But at least it's still there. Same for the interior. 36" high; 16" wide; 49" long. Adjustable back rest for baby to lie down or sit up. The padded back pad is in good condition. Notice the leather safety strap. Rubber tires on wire rims/spokes. The frame and bottom are in good condition for its age but the bonnet has suffered wear. From an Estate we have an American genuine antique Victorian doll carriage from the late 1800s or early 1900s with Victorian style Doll. The doll is a Bradley collectible doll from the 1980's. She is dressed in vintage clothing. Her dress is soft yellow lace and she has a matching hat. Parasol, knickers and leather lace up shoes. She is the perfect compliment for this awesome antique coll carriage. Made in the late 1800s this is a wicker"convertible" carriage. It was made in this smaller version for Victorian girls to model their mothers' behavior with their dolls. The carriage goes from sitting to laying down with the aid of a lever and was advertised as being a GO CART. I recieved this from an antique site: The Bloch Go Cart Co. was formed in 1897. First selling hooded strollers. Their showroom was in Phila. Pa. and their factory was in Egg Harbor. N.J. They used a lot of Fiber to make their pieces. They produced a lot of wicker in the 1920's. They were not so high quality as Heywood Bros.and Wakefield Co. This is indeed pretty rare. If you consider that they may have used less quality materials. There is one small area of wicker missing, it is in the lower back and is not visible when a doll is in the bed. The wheels are 10 inch metal spokes with a hard rubber tire. The carriage is about 30 inches tall. 18 inches wide and about 34 inches long. Vintage Victorian style German Baby Doll Carriage Stroller and Bisque Doll
Vintage German Victorian style repro circa 1970's doll carriage/ stroller/ pram- and bisque doll. I do not know the maker or the age of the little bisque doll. Doll and carriage are in good condition. The wheels are made of wood in the middle and cast iron rims. The bed is made of wood with a pretty wicker design, cloth liner, cast iron frame, the canopy is made of cast iron with a cloth liner, it does not push down, may have to oil the hinge, the handle is wooden the rest is cast iron. The stroller is used, the cast iron has some surface rust, the carriage is a little dusty, but other than that it is in solid good condition, the wheels turn good. The stroller measures, 8 3/4" tall, without the canopy, 13 3/4" tall with the canopy, 9 1/2" long, 6" wide.
