Vintage 1940's-50's Taylor Tot Stroller (Complete and Rare) American Restoration
Today up for bids is a Rare Taylor Tot Stroller from the 40's or 50's. One of these rare strollers was restored on the TV show"American Restoration" on History Channel last season. Once restored their stroller brought $1.500. This item is complete and original but will need to be restored to be mint as you can tell from the pictures. There are some cracks on the white rubber on the bumpers and the wood seat also has some cracking. The metal pieces are in nice shape and would need a paint job to look new. Vintage Victorian Wicker Baby Doll Stroller South Bend Toys 1930's to 1940's
This item is adorable with it's wicker work and green. Red, and black pin stripping on the sides. There is some wear on the front top rim, the dome is a bit soft from age and has a bit of wear on the canopy in front, and it is missing one hubcap at rear. I have had this toy carriage in my personal collection since the 80's and loved it sitting in my bedroom filled with dolls. It stands approximately 28" H x 22 L, not including the handle.

VINTAGE 1940'S DELUXE TAYLOR TOT BABY STROLLER, RARE VERSION W WHEEL SKIRTS !*
Here is a recent estate find in Maryland. This is a Taylor Tot Deluxe model stroller/walker with wheel Shirts. Park brake and adjustable seat back which raises and reclines! If you look at some of the other ones on ebay you'll see the differences in this model from the others. I believe this is the 1948 model but not positive. When I aquired this it had some restoration done but it was incomplete. Some of the red paint is flaking in spots. Some of the bolts and screws were missing or were the incorrect size and falling out/ or off. I've installed the correct size bolts, nuts, washers and screws and tightened everything up and lubed the wheels and pivots so it works and rolls smoothly. I'll leave any other restorations to the buyer to do with what they want. This is an excellent example of this model. The brake lever moves easily ... morewith a push of your foot to lock rods into holes in the rear wheels. Looks all original except for paint. Vintage PAL baby stroller 1940 - 1950.s era
This is an antique and or vintage baby stroller"pal" produced by the La Forte Corporation of La Forte. Indiana, and is from the 40's or 50's. As the pictures show it is in relatively fair to good condition. As can be seen the decal on the seat is still complete, there is some wear that can be seen but the stroller is still usable for a child or for an accent piece for the antique lover. From a smoke free home. I estimate the shipping weight at between 15 to 20 pounds and I will ship this item by whatever mode you desire. I will also be open to the item being picked up at my home north of Dayton, Ohio.

Antique Vintage Wooden Baby Walker, steel wheels, wood tray, stroller, NICE 1940
WELCOME TO MY AUCTION For sale today is a real neat antique or vintage wooden baby walker. This old walker will fold down for transporting. It has a circular wooden top and wooden tray and a metal foot rest. The ring is made of hard wood. The seat is of heavy cloth and still in good shape, the seat is threaded onto a heavy wire ring mounted just under the top wooden ring. The ring is mounted in three places and the cloth is a little frayed where it was cut and sewed for the connecting. The tray is attached to the wooden ring. Has a little rabbit decal, the tray has some damage to the surface, there is a picture of the tray included. The frame measures 18”X23” and will fold down flat to about 4” Has steel wheels on it. Needs one lower arm rivet replaced, comes off sometimes when folding the walker. I see no name on this nice walker. It is ... morein good shape for the years. Vintage Blue Taylor Tot Stroller / Walker Circa 1940's or '50s
Many eBayers remember their own mothers using similar strollers during the 1950s. 1960s, or earlier. These beautiful strollers were considered the'Cadillac' of baby walkers in their time. The Frank F. Taylor Company was founded in Norwood. Ohio, in 1921. In 1964, the company relocated to Frankfort, Kentucky, and continued to manufacture strollers in bright colors. Did YOU ride in one of these strollers during your childhood? Or your parents during their childhood? ^ ^^(Pictures above are NOT the same model as the item up for auction. But are clearly Taylor Tot brand strollers)^^* Although you can find many other Taylor Tots stroller/walkers here on eBay and online. I've found it difficult to find one just like this one. Many, or even MOST Taylor Tots strollers had the wooden'steering wheel' in the front of the childs table. ... moreThis one does not. I don't know if it is what you call'rare' but I had trouble finding another one to compare it to. I'm not sure yet the exact age. But I will go over it with a magnifying glass to see if it has the date or other manufacturing info on it. This antique Taylor Tot stroller is from a late relative's estate. Original paint and accessories. Due to the age of this unique stroller some surface rust is on the stroller and some paint is chipped off of the stroller. And the wooden seat is split in a straight line. The rubber sleeves on the front and rear rails have all but cracked and fallen off. But overall the stroller is a must for all dealers and collectors. Stroller's handle collapses for easy storage and carry and is truly a collectible piece. Would not be hard to bring it back to it's original condition. Look at the pictures for the best description of this stroller's condition. Some Taylor Tots restored are bringing close to $1000 in antique sales. All Original. PAL baby stroller/walker from the 40-50's? This has been stored out of weather always. The sticker is still complete and in wonderful condition. There is minor surface rust on top tray. All rubber is original on bumpers. The handle latch still works. Easily remove the handle for storage or to turn into walker. Still all works. Rolls wonderful, tires like new. One exactly like this was on Rick's Restoration show on History Channel and was valued at 1700.00. This one would need very minor sanding and repainting of the tray if u wanted it perfect. The seat is made of wood and in great shape. The bottom foot tray is in excellent condition and removing it turns it from the stroller into the walker. The handle and wood on it perfect. You can see the cracking in the rubber bumpers, this model has spring suspension, you can see the age in the wood and metal parts, whoever buys this will likely leave it as it is or restore it. Up for consideration is a Vintage Original 1940's/1950's Blue and White Taylor Tot Child's Stroller/Walker. There are now markings so I am not sure that this is a"Taylor Tot" The ones that looks like mine are describing it this way It measures approx. 25" Long(from bumper to bumper) x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper in front) x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It has all the typical wear from age and use as in. Dings, scratches, paint loss, cracks in wood, and rust. The fenders are missing. The rubber coating does have some ware(last 2 photos) The seat is made of wood and it has wooden beads across the front for the child's entertainment. I'm not an expert on these strollers so I'm not sure what other parts if any that its missing. All parts work the way they should. Vintage Metal Baby Stroller 1940's-50s Bead Wheel Fenders Gray Retro Taylor Tot
An excellent example of a VINTAGE TAYLOR TOT Stroller. Made between the 1940's thru the 1950's this stroller has been unmolested and left in it's original condition over the years. Original Gray Paint and all 4 Airflow Wheel covers are still intact along with the wooden play balls on the front circular bar. The white rubber piping that covers the bars around the stroller are all cracked from age but they are still there but could be replaced. The wooden seat has a crack from age but can be fixed with some wood glue and a clamp. If you have any questions or need additional pictures then please e mail me. Vintage Baby Doll Stroller 1900-1940's with a Metal Frame
Old wicker stroller with metal frame and wicker body. All the parts seem to be there. The wicker looks to be in good shape. I really see not issues. The handle to push is made of wood. I put and old pillow in d base that fits perfect, it will come with it. Wheel push great, and I see little problems with it. It measures 26" from foot of stroller to handle of stroller, and 26" from wheels to top of moveable cover. Will be a large box to ship and it will be expensive. Please note that when bidding and make sure you are aware. It would be a nice item for any little girl and would last a lifetime if cared for.

Vintage 1940's Taylor Tot Stroller - The nice model with the wheel fairings
This auction is for a vintage Taylor Tot stroller. It is the more desirable type which has the streamlined wheel fairings. These are really excellent for cutting down on wind resistance at speeds over 60 miles per hour. This one has some paint loss as can be seen in the pictures. But no significant rust on the body; the only rust is some superficial rust on the thick wires which hold the rubber and wooden beads. The rubber has cracks and some areas where bits of it are missing. It is stamped 1946 on the bottom. I am also including some striated white rubber tubing which I had bought when I was planning to restore this stroller; it is a dead ringer for the original. I consider this stroller a very good candidate for restoration, but I have just too many projects waiting to be done and not enough time, and I've decided to try to part with ... moreit as-is rather than to let it keep waiting its turn in the barn along with a whole lot of others. The handle is made to be removed, so it can be shipped in a smaller(but not small! box, so I think that shipping will be feasible even though this is a pretty large item. The high shipping charges on the eBay calculator reflect the surcharges that the Post office imposes for larger size boxes; local pickup is welcome as well. 1940's vintage folding baby carriage, buggy, pram. Full size, Green and white
Mid century vintage baby carriage. All metal construction with vinyl or rubberized canvas sides and hard rubber wheels. It folds up for storage. In very good condition with just some small holes on each side of the sun shade that have been repaired with black gorilla tape. The wheels had a few small cracks in the tires. They have been filled in with epoxy and painted to match. Rolls freely and comes with a parking brake. Would be great for displaying a large vintage doll. It is even clean and good enough to use as intended in my opinion. Probably not modern"child safe" though. How did we ever survive childhood back then? $24.99 for UPS shipping in the US only.
