Vintage Kroll Kab Baby Buggy with Doll
This is a Kroll Kab baby buggy from the 1920's- 1930's era. It is made from wood and wicker. The exterior is Pink and the interior is tan. The hood has the glass viewing windows and the hood can be moved from one side to the other. The doll in the picture is Berjusa doll made in Spain and it comes with the buggy. The wheels are made of wood with a hard rubber around the outside. It measures 34" from the floor to the top of the hood. 17" wide and about 36 1/2" long. It's in good condition for its age.

Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. Up for sale is our family's Antique Wicker Baby Carriage/Buggy from The National company in Perrysburg. Ohio. This was purchased for my Grandfather, an only child and then 20 years later used for his daughters, then my mother used it for me. It has since been stored indoors for over 60 years. I have used it as a beautiful decoration with artificial flowers during the year and filled with fake wrapped presents at Christmas time. I remember my mother giving a baby shower for a friend and having me push the buggy in filled with wrapped presents. All the parts work on this buggy, and there is a little hidden compartment in the bottom that is covered with a fold back cloth top for keeping valuables, diapers, etc. The wooden wheels are beautiful. This is in its original condition. It measures approximately: 45-1/2 in. high with the bonnet in ... morean upright position, the entire length is approximately 47-1/2 in. long with the bonnet down, and 46 in. with the bonnet up. The wicker body only withe the bonnet down is approximately 33-1/2 in. long. The Bonnet is 21-1/2 in wide. The wood wheels are 14-1/4 in. across. This is pick up only, though I do travel a little so possibly an arrangement can be made for delivery or to meet part way. I am selling this only because I have downsized and neither of my two children likes or wants this-they are not into antiques. This would look so gorgeous on a large porch with flowers in it, or as it was meant to be used for a baby. Please be aware that I do not accept returns. There is no reserve price on this. This is a vintage baby buggy with hidden panels from Marshall Fields. There was a note in the buggy that said it was originally bought from Marshall Field's in Chicago. It measures 27 1/2" tall to the top of the handle. 19" tall to the tap of the bed and 19" long and the bed is 12" wide. This very old antique buggy/carriage was recently pulled out of a 100+ year old barn in rural Colorado. The buggy folds up. Is made of metal and wood, the wheels all have original rubber, looks to be very old.There is a makers name(see pic) but I cannot make out what it says. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. But certainly very good. I can find no holes in the wicker, but there are some very small spots of worn or chipped paint(does not appear to be re-painted) and I can see a small section(1/2 inch) of missing braided trim on the footrest(check photo close-up) Top works well, wheels turn well, and it seems to be quite sturdy all around. Looks like the interior lining is missing(as seen in first pic) but these can be easily re-lined by an experienced doll collector/restorer. Nice size, as it is not too large for storing and perfect for displaying a seated doll. The rubber rims are cracking in spots due to age. There is a locking mechanism for the wheels. Push the pedal between the back wheels down and the front wheels will lock in place. The push bar has a wood grip in the center of the bar. This buggy is in excellent condition for its age. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This piece measures 48 inches tall. 24 inches side to side and 52¼ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. Up for auction is an Antique Victorian Baby Carriage Buggy with Canopy. I believe the carriage is from the 1800's. It measures 54" long from the handle bar to the end of the front wheel. The width is 21" The height to the top of the carriage canopy is 45 1/2" The height when measured to the top of the baby basket is 32" The baby basket is 36" long& 16 1/2" wide. Two of the carriage wheels measure 22" the other two wheels measure 20" The hardware that holds the carriage canopy is made of bronze. The canopy is adjustable& removable. The lower portion of the wooden arms that connect to the handle bar have been reinforced. They both had cracks in the same area(please see photos) The carriage has minimal signs of wear& is in very good condition for it's age. Vintage 60's Welsh Doll Carriage in original played with condition. Measure about 26"long. 17" wide, 27"30" tall. Vinyl is is good shape other than the hood material shrunk over the years, so when you try to lock open the hood all the way it pulls the stitching loose(see pics of hood) One hubcap is dented and one is missing, the other two are in good condition. Metal body is in good condition with normal scuffing and scratches on front edges(see pic) Chrome, springs, and wheels are in good used condition just slight scuffing and rust here and there, nothing steel wool wouldn't remove. Rolls very well and is still very useable. Simply amazing Estate Sale find. It is wicker and canvas and wood and steel wheels. The condition is very very good. It is dirty and needs a good cleaning. It has clearly been in a barn for a long time. I am not going to clean it. I'll leave it to the new owners. There are a couple of flaws. One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. I did buy it at an estate sale and it had an old faded hand written tag on it for $375. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The Buggy is estate fresh and needs a detailed Clening. I have done nothing to clean it. I leave the cleaning to the collectors. The opening measures approx 13 x 28. There is some slight surface rust on the chrome handle which should clean up nicely with a little chrome polish. The Iron has surface rust.And could easily be sanded and re-painted. The Vinyl is grey with a blue design,and is in good condition. There is a small tare on the top bonnet where the first rib is,and a few small tares on the inside cradle. The tares on the inside cradle are on the crumb cover,and not the actual cradle itself. There is a cover that snaps over the opening allowing for only the baby's head to be seen. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my baby in the stroller,but it would make a great doll stroller. Up for bid this week is a beautiful Vintage Early 1900's Wicker Baby Buggy In Great Working Condition. The baby is off white and huge. It has a brake. Adjustable overhead canopy which also slides forward and back, the back of the buggy folds back into a resting position, and the foot portion actually can fold down almost to the ground, then in the middle or it can fold completely up against the buggy basket portion. The buggy has metal wheels with spokes. The buggy is in great condition-could use a good cleaning and some touchup paint possibly but I wanted to leave it in its original condition-the way I found it and let the high bidder do as he pleases as far as cleaning and painting. These pages are doubled sided with each featuring a large engraving of a different Baby Carriage sold by the company. These pages measure about 12.25" x 10" and are in excellent condition. Three of the baby carriages shown are descibed as" Reed Body. Shellacked" and one is described as" Reed Body. Bleached" with accessories and options listed for each. We acquired a large quantity loose pages and sections from disbound 19th century hardware catalogs that dated to the 1880s and 1890s or so. There are a few cosmetic issues- 1/4" scuff on cloth hood. Vinyl cover has a few white scuffs and the fringe is loose in one area. White plastic cover is missing on one side of the carriage hood rod(see 6th picture- also note the discoloration on the inside ribbon of the hood) Wheels are in great shape. Very firm. All chrome parts are sturdy and not bent, dented or damaged ... morein anyway. Cloth cover is in great condition except for the scuff mentioned above. Vinyl mattress is very clean and appears unused. No smells or odors. Shipping is calculated by weight& size ~ we may be able to get this cost lower by shipping in two boxes. We would refund the difference if two boxes came out at a lower cost. Antique Covered Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy
Antique Wicker Baby Carriage. This full-size buggy has an adjustable canopy. There is no lining on the inside bottom. Wood handle& wood spoke wheels measuring 13 ¼” diameter. Hard rubber tires(well used) parking brake. The canopy slides forward. Both bars for that are there and they work but one is somewhat bent. It still rolls very smooth and easy. This would be nice if restored. I bought and used it for display only for antique dolls and baby quilts and clothes for the past 25 years. The buggy measures 34 ½ inches high from floor to handle without bonnet. The front wheels still have the rubber on them but the rubber is dried out and hard. The back wheels do not have the rubber on them. It appears the wicker was originally mint green. Most of that color is off. The carriage does not include the doll or blankets shown in pictures.
