This particular pram was manufactured by Coronet. This fantastic baby doll pram is a jewel. The outside of the bed is a colonial blue with white design trimming and accents. The inside of the bed is white. The hood is the same blue as the bed and white. On both sides of the bed is a royal silver emblem that has a crown in the center flanked on either side by protective mystical creatures. A very regal emblem. The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The baby doll carriage has a hood that protects baby from the outside elements. This hood also has the ability to be put down and to lay flat. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. Both attachments fit easily onto the same frame so you can use the bassinet when your child is small and change it out to the toddler stroller when they get a bit older. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. Each of the attachments have hoods and covers and the stroller is fully adjustable. This is a great set for display or use! Condition: This stroller set is vintage and used but in good condition. There is some very light wear for it's age and discoloration on the fabric and lining from use and age. The steel tube frame has some light pitting in places and there is some wear on the white rubber wheels. Overall the stroller is structurally sound and rolls nicely. This precious van Delft is a rare find in its condition. Especially with the original mattress pad and wind shield. It has all the original tires w/hub caps and mud guards. Original top handles to remove from carriage to use as bassinet. It handles like a dream. If I had been lucky enough to have a stroller like this, I swear I would have more kids! I love this stroller in its original state, but it would benefit from a professional restorer's touch, i.e. cleaning, reparing/replacing the leather strap in the back and there is rope/string binding to hold-up the childs foot rest. The wind shield is cracked, but could serve as a template for a new one. Interior designers could do alot with this van Delft aside from really impressing their clients. Which was a Baby Carriage that could also be taken off the frame to use as a traveling bassinet.This is a beautiful piece, although it does have one small hole in the fabric on the lower side and two small wear spots on the fabric of the canopy where the hood folds(REFER TO PICTURES)It is very clean and made well.It will fold up somewhat as you can tell by the pictures.Includes the original mattress and board that goes under mattress. The hood can flip to either end to shade baby from the sun, there is a snap on vinyl cover to protect baby from the weather and the end of the bassinet unsnaps to allow room for growth. Can be adjusted to a semi-reclined position for older babies who want to look around. The bassinet rests on a spring section that attaches to the wheel base. Carriage is very solid and sturdy, and according to vintage ads for the Wonda-chair, very hard to tip over. Bassinet can be removed and placed on the rocking base. Up for bidding is a vintage Hedstrom Convertible Carriage Stroller Pram in very good used condition. It is a green vinal on the hood and trim and a woven plaid wool/flannel like material in browns and tans on the sides in very good condition. I do not see any tears in the vinal. There is some slight yellowing on the plastic inside and very little rust spots on the rim of wheels(one wheel it is more pronounced as shown) A very special piece that converts 3 uses into one: carriage. London, which makes luxury baby prams. This pram was purchased in the 1970s. It has all of the original parts. It is brown and cream colored. The original mattress is included with four sheets(three patterns and one white- see photos) that fit it. The bassinet portion comes out of the stroller/ wheels and can be used as a stand-alone bassinet. It has handles on either side for easy carrying. The canopy can be up or down and there is a cover for the bassinet portion that snaps into place. The wheel/ stroller portion does collapse for easier storage. Cream colored bassinet can be used for your little one, or filled with flowers or stuffed animals, or just displayed on a porch or in a sunroom. The bottom frame is wood. The wheels are wood with rubber rims. The top part has a wooden frame and woven wicker and wood to form the“cradle” There is a handle on one end to push it along. Vintage Perego Pram Baby Buggy Italian Carriage Stroller Bassinet NO RESERVE!!!!
Okay so here's the story my fellow ebayers! I am a self described seeker of relics(and other things) But Italian made buggies are not things I come across everyday. My daughter actually found this buggy at a flea market auction in rather sad shape. The original plan was to fix it up and she was going to use it for her child who has yet to make his appearance. After finding out she is having a boy, she decided this stroller would no longer suite her needs! So after weeks of work and restoring this nice relic, I find myself stuck with a stroller that I have no use for. I realize this one is not as ornate as some of the ones selling on Ebay, but she sure did clean up rather nicely. however, there are some cosmetic issues that I included in the pictures. The vinyl inside the buggy has two small tears. The metal can be seen on one side of ... morethe buggy cover(also in the pictures) and some smalls stains in the top shade portion that I am not sure how to safely clean out. She sure has been a labor of love and I fear I will not get out what's been invested.but I don't have a choice but to try and sell it. The stroller wheels around perfectly and the chrome shines like a brand new penny. I am not certain of the year as I really do not know much about them. A local antique store owner nearby believes that it is probably early 60's possibly late 50's, but that was his best estimation. At any rate, I am partial to her! I think she is a beauty. Hopefully someone out there in ebay land will agree. Normally returns are not a problem, but with the bigger size of this item that's probably not the best way to go. So in the event that you are not happy with your purchase I will work with you to make things right. Up for auction and your consideration I have a lovely vintage Baby- Doll Basket Bassinet made by Red Man. Very sturdy and in nice condition. I used for display in a bedroom with a Middleton Doll. Has the handles that fold up to carry or down to display. Has blue trim as you can see in pictures.
