The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. Vintage/Antique Wicker Carriage/Buggie~With Vintage Rare Baby Wobbles Doll
For auction is a vintage~anitque? doll buggy/carriage& what I believe to be a rare Baby Wobbles doll. The carriage/buggy is in pretty good condition. It appears to made of wicker. Wood, and a type of metal. It is brown with black frame, and black wheels, with beautiful spiraled supports. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check ... moreover the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. You will receive One Vintage Antique Wicker Baby Doll Stroller with Rickshaw like handles. The inside has a working latch that drops the bottom into a step for easy access in and out of the stroller. The top has two handles that allow the top to be lowered to allow the sun to shine in. The inside is padded. But does show vintage signs of age. There are no rips or tears in the black canvas, but there was an original repair done in one spot. Measures 32" long x 16" wide x 29" tall This carriage is made of brown woven wicker. There are some areas where the pieces are broken. It has a steel frame with a wooden handle that has a lot of rust due to it's age. There is rubber on the steel rimmed wooden spoke wheels, the rubber has a lot of wear. The top of the carriage has 2 small round windows with lace covering. The inside of the carriage is very clean. There is a board on the bottom lined with cream colored linen with attached eyelet. Up for bid is this baby buggy. Not sure of the age- definitely vintage. Possibly antique. Measures 32" long. 15" wide and 10" tall. The top will fold down. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. The tire diameter of is approx 5 inches. With a width of ¾ inches. The wheel diameter is approx. 3 3/8 inches. There is some surface rust in spots and scrapes in the paint. There are no markings on the tires to indicate make. Here’s the weird part; they have different diameter axle holes with one at.318. Up for auction is a vintage Taylor Tot baby stroller. This was saved from a scrap metal clean-up. So it is lacking a few of its original parts. The wheels are worn but all are intact. The rubber bumper is in place, although age and wetness has caused it to harden. The wooden seat is in very good condition. The netting/metal around the back of the seat is also in remarkably good condition. We have had a couple folks make offers on this one when it came into the shop. We have decided to list it here. Though; it should make a unique display piece for the right person. We would advise against placing a toddler in it. Shipping is going to be a bit tricky. But we will figure something out. Antique Vintage Pram Baby Carriage Danish, Gingham design from Denmark-RARE EUC
Great add to any collection or display/use. This is old so it has some inherent issues expected with age. Besides being characteristically flimsy and probably not the safest thing to push a baby around in. It would still be a great add to décor or occasional use: Chrome trim is bent in some places. Hole(at least 2 of them like the one pictured Original mattress stained(needs dry cleaned) Not perfect metal but I cleaned up some with 000 steel wool and the rust comes off for the most part. Top lifts off so it can be carried like a bassinet. Measures around 40" tall. 44" in overall length and 20" wide. Not sure of age but appears to be made in Denmark many years ago. Antique/Vintage 1950's Baby doll stroller
Up for sale is a blast from the past: A 1950's baby-doll stroller. Plaid-striped red and white hooded/canopy and seat. Made of vinyl plastic with a steel frame and aluminum finish. It does have condition issues(see all pictures) but over all in good condition for being 60+ years old. There is rust on the metal. T he fringe on the canopy is dirty and the vinyl needs cleaning. Up to the buyer) A small tear in the vinyl on the canopy. One wheel is cracked and missing a small piece. It folds up(like a real baby stroller) to make it more compact. We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. Vintage Italian made Giordani pram in excellent condition. Very nice blue velvet material and cream vinyl interior. Still works great very sturdy foot pedal brake on the back wheels for parking. Pushes like a dream. Kind of rocks front and back when you push down on the handle bar so you can sooth your baby. We used the top as a bassinet by our bedside when our baby was newborn because it has the unique feature of detaching from the base. The hood also collapses and can fold the opposite direction. I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. I’ve acquired antique pedal car. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. I’m leaning towards a baby carriage on these. The tire diameter is approx. 9 3/8 inches with a width of 7/8 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 8 1/2 inches. The wheel is approx. 2 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 12 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels incorporate plastic bushings and ride on a 3/8 inch axle. As the photos show. There is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. The doll carriage measures 22in high from floor to top and 32in from floor to the top of hood of the carriage and the inside where the doll goes is 23in long. I bought this carriage years ago at auction. I have acquired a second carriage and do not have room for the both of them. This carriage is in good condition for its age.
