Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. Inside seat measures 9 inches across and 8 inches deep. Has a layer of black. Worn leather lined. Wicker measures about 13 inches across from side to side top and about 11 inches deep. 13 inches tall from the floor to the center back of the wicker top. Wheels are about 8 inches round with the little back wheels to help prevent tipping are 1.5 inches round Pull handle extends about 22 inches long when it is placed to be straight. Fold back into the seat at about 16 inches for the baby to hold. I cannot find any types of"maker markings" No chips with some edge rubbings here and there. Wicker shows some pull with a few strips popped out a bit. Little pillow seat included. Not sure if it is an original but it sure matches the style with little tastles along the bottom in an off white, cream color showing a few age spots. This darling items deserves a loving home! The interior of the carriage was professionally retrofitted by a designer's upholsterer about 25 years ago. It is lined in a blue cotton fabric with a white pindot pattern and finished with self-cording and an eyelet ruffle trim. The mattress and pillow were also custom made at that time. The fabric. Trim, and cording are in very good to excellent condition. We did not find any tears or stains and only a few stray threads that can be easily snipped off. There is some slight fading in some areas of the fabric but it is not very noticeable and would not show if the carriage was used to display dolls or plush animals, for example. The previous owners actually used this family heirloom when their children were babies and it is functional. When not out for a head-turning stroll. The carriage served as a bassinet-on-wheels for a napping newborn. Afterwards it was used to display antique teddy bears in the family's home. Personally, we do not know if this item meets with current safety standards but it probably does not and we do not recommend using it except for display. There is however a few missing strands of wicker on the foot basket and the top of one of the sides. Antique Taylor Tot Stroller Walker Original Brown White Wood
Here is a very nice antique Taylor Tot stroller. It is only missing the airstream wheel covers. This is a solid stroller and has the original parts and paint. The handle looks to be oak. There is a little surface rust here and there. I am sure whoever buys this will sand it and paint it whatever color they wont. Has the original wood colored beads. Wood seat, rubber bumpers, metal foot pan. wood baby handle and wheels. The only thing I will remove for shipping is the handle so it can fit in a box. Everything will be wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it during shipping.
