2 Rex antique vintage tricycle pedal car baby stroller carriage hubcaps
This auction is for two antique/ vintage Rex tricycle. Pedal car, baby stroller, baby carriage or tractor wheel covers/ hubcaps. Obviously. I do not know what they fit. I’ve acquired antique pedal car. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. I tend to think that these are for a baby carriage. These are obviously not in perfect condition. Let the photos be your guide. One has some obvious scratches in the center. No. These will not rub out. The“nicer” one is better as far as scratches. Yet has a couple of spots where the finish is wrinkled. I tried rubbing it out. But I think those flaws are there to stay. The O.D is 2 1/4 inches measured at the base and the height is approx. ¾ inch. There are some rusr speckles on the sides. A unique feature with these is there’s a tab on the side which acts as a look/ release button. In my photos I tried ... moreto capture flaws. Not hide them. This auction is for a set. Four, antique/ vintage baby stroller carriage, pedal car, toy car or wagon tire and wheels. Obviously. I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. I’ve acquired antique pedal car. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. I’m leaning towards a baby carriage on these. The tire diameter is approx. 9 3/8 inches with a width of 7/8 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 8 1/2 inches. The wheel is approx. 2 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 12 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels incorporate plastic bushings and ride on a 3/8 inch axle. As the photos show. There is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. Two antique / vintage baby stroller carriage, pedal car wagon tires & wheels 18"
This auction is for a set of two large antique/ vintage baby stroller carriage. Pedal car, toy car or wagon tire and wheels. Obviously, I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. The tire diameter is approx. 18 inches with a width of 1 1/4 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 16 inches. The wheel is approx. 3 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 32 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels ride on a 1/2 inch axle. As the photos show, there is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. The tires have Puncture Proof and Clipper with 18 x 1 embossed on the side. The tires have occasional nicks in them. One tire is split at the factory seam. An old timer told me it could be reglued, soaked in warm water to swell it up and reinstalled back on the rim. ANTIQUE WOOD CART WHEEL , WAGON, BUGGY, CARRIAGE, PEDAL CAR
Beautiful all original rubber cart wheel with wood spokes. The rim and center hub are metal. Shows its age and wear with surface rust through out. please see photo) Still looks really nice for its age. The diameter of the wheel is 12" and the axle hole is 1/2" The rubber is still in good shape with no signs of cracks. Just light usage wear. There is a nail in bedded. in the rubber tire. Will leave the winning bidder to remove the nail. Should pry off easy. The wood spokes are in good shape with no breaks. Please bid with confidence. I do not sell fakes or reproductions. This is one of the nicest original Taylor Tot strollers you will ever find. This one has been used but very little and has been stored for decades. The stroller is stamped under the seat 4-49 which I am sure is the date it was made. It is 65 years old. The stroller retains its original paint and decals. The front decal reads The genuine Taylor Tot. The seat decal reads Taylor Quality Ball Bearing Wheels And Shock Proof Construction. The seat decal has been protected by one of the rare accessories a padded seat cushion which is made of thin padded plastic and is in great condition. The stroller has the Art Deco pod wheel covers. The other rare accessory is A bag attached to the handle for carrying groceries. Diapers, or what ever you wanted.
