Vintage Baby Pram Stroller Carriage. Navy Blue & Cream. Mid-Century 1960's.
Travel back in time with this vintage baby pram. It is probably 50 years old but still in good working order. It is collapsible and will fit in a car trunk(we drive a 1994 Ford Taurus and it fits in our trunk) It collapses down to about 39" long. 23" wide, and 20" high. We have one just like it(but green) and have gotten so many compliments and comments on it! People LOVE these old prams/carriages. There are a couple of small tears in the vinyl, particularly in the white/cream hood(see photo) but it is really in very good condition for the age. The shock absorbers are quite effective. The wheels are approx. 5" in diameter. Uncollapsed it measures approx. 25" tall(to the handle) and 16" tall(top of the wood paneling on the sides) Measures approx. 17.5" deep from the metal back plate to the curved metal enclosure at the front. Welsh Easy Tow Vintage baby doll stroller from the late 40's. Early 50's. The primary color is grey with white seams. There is a dark green stripe. Some wrinkles and dust from storage but has aged very well. The buggy is easy to set upright and collapse to folding position. The hood moves easily into position. The cover has a snap that is no longer attached to the material. It would need to be repaired to use this cover(snap is present) All other parts work the way they should. Buggy shows age& wear. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. Great lines The body is made of metal which has some scratches and surface rust spots as you can see in the pictures. The bottom also has some surface rust spots. The Chrome shows wear and could be kept as is or if you have the knack can refinish it. Does show light oxidation and some plate loss The inside and cover is still pliable and does not show much wear.
