The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. The original label is located on one of the lower bars of the stroller. It is green wicker. With yellow/blue/white/pink painted diamonds on the sides. Structure is metal which has been painted cream. This stroller measures approximately 26"x11" and is 26" tall including the hood. It shows overall wear, including paint loss and a few breaks in the wicker. This wicker stroller is awesome! It's got loads of charm! This wicker part of the stroller measures 19" x 9" As a whole it's 27" tall and 25" from end to end. It's fully functioning and great for dolls. Pets, babies or for a prop. It's in excellent condition given it's age. I'm guessing it was made in the 1930s. Local pick up is preferable on this piece. But I will assist in shipping if you'd like to make arrangements. There is a Grayhound station in town and that's often the cheapest way to transport items of this relative size. The stroller is located in Eau Claire, WI approximately 90 miles east of Minneapolis, MN on I-94.

Antique Vintage Wicker Baby Carriage, Sage Green, XC, Rubber Wheels
1917. American furniture company working in a closely woven wicker created this carriage. With a wooden"S" raised handle from the frame. This darling features a window on either side where the baby slept. It's tiny by today's standards, or from the baby prams just 40 years later. In England this would have been called a'perambulator. That's history for today. I created the cushion and little pillow. To go with the original color of the exterior. Unknown if these were lined, or their were bumpers like we use today. It makes a most interesting magazine rack, cushion holder, or towel keeper. Just years ago an item like this retailed for $900, due to their rarity and condition. Add nostalgia to your decorating. 1920s Family Antique Wood Wheels Green Wicker Baby Buggy Stroller PICKUP Ohio
We are not antique collectors. But instead have some family items to part with due to clearing their estate. This buggy held my father and his siblings who were all born in the early 1920s- and WWII veterans. It could be FA Whitney Carriage Company but no markings on it that we can find- so don't know the manufacturer. There is a name plate inside the seat area. But it is blank or it was painted over. It measures approx. 45" length from handle to end; handle height is 36" From floor to top of hood is approx. 40" Width of baby buggy is 19" Wood Wheels are 13.5" diam The wood wheel spokes and wood have hard rubber tire and have lots of wear left in them. A real nice piece that moves well. Has a foot brake that works perfectly, and the adjustable carriage hood moves back and forth. Also the baby's seat is adjustable ... moreto a reclining position. Springs appear in good condition. Also had the seat cushion inside. The cushion is soiled of course. But the buggy is in good condition. No damage to the wicker that we can see.
