If you inspect them thoroughly you will find the dark spots in the photos which are or were rust. I polished them with rubbing compound to minimize the rust. Yet rest assured the plating is gone in these dark spots. Also note the dark rectangular spot in the close u photos. This is not in the caps but a reflection of my camera in the photos. Flip them over and the inside. Or backside has some surface rust. The diameter of these is approx 1 ½ inches. With a height of ¾ inches, not including the mounting tabs(four on each cover by the way) These may even be NOS or possibly older repros. I’m guessing the rust spots are just from laying around for years. I say this based on condition and also the tabs appear to have never been bent. They aren’t perfectly straight. 90-degree angle, yet they show no stress marks from being bent. If by any chance you purchased my previous set. These aren’t as nice so are listed at ½ the price. Has three wheels, and a corregated plastic tube around the top hande to be soft on small hands. Across the front are five multi-colored plastic'babies' that spin when touched. The only damage to this walker is that the one in the middle has lost it's head! To operate the baby would stand behind the walker between the two back wheels and push. This wheels on this walker will move very quickly and might not be really safe for a baby unless he knows how to walk or is very steady on his feet. This wonderful stroller comes from an estate- it is adorable and would make a great restoration project. I've been told when finished. These can bring close to $1,200! I don't have the means to restore this beauty so I'm sending it out to the world. It may be a Taylor Tot but I can't guarantee that because it has no numbers or markings on it. It sitting portion of the stroller is 18" tall from floor and the handle is 32" from the floor. Vintage Metal Baby Stroller 1940's-50s Bead Wheel Fenders Gray Retro Taylor Tot
An excellent example of a VINTAGE TAYLOR TOT Stroller. Made between the 1940's thru the 1950's this stroller has been unmolested and left in it's original condition over the years. Original Gray Paint and all 4 Airflow Wheel covers are still intact along with the wooden play balls on the front circular bar. The white rubber piping that covers the bars around the stroller are all cracked from age but they are still there but could be replaced.
