The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Pram Buggy 1940s Original From Germany
This is a vintage wicker baby carriage/ pram/ stroller that is convertible! As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. It is in great condition for its age. The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The handle can be undone and repositioned so as to stroll the baby from either direction. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel hub caps and fenders have some rust issues as you can see from the photographs. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. Local Pickup only or arrange for your own shipping at your own cost.

This piece was made in the late 1800's or very early 1900's by the Gendron Wheel Company in Toledo, Ohio. The buggy has a solid iron frame that is in good shape, a lined wicker basket with an adjustable cover and iron wheels with hard rubber tires. There is one panel on the end that lays down flat so you can get the baby in and out easily or lay them down flat to change a diaper. This is a great antique piece that would be a fun restoration ... moreproject and would make a great"rustic" decor piece as it sits now! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. We picked this out of an old farmhouse and it's in"farm fresh" condition. So it is definitely not pristine. The iron frame has some pitting and oxidation throughout. The wicker basket has some wear with a some loose spots and some holes on the cover and near the edges. The interior liner has a lot of wear. The wheels have wear but are in good working condition. The stroller rolls easily, but the basket on it is becoming brittle in spots. Overall this is in rustic condition and would be great for restoration or display as is. This is a very old victorian stick and ball carriage C 1890. It has muted colors of red. White, and blue. This carriage is frail and has chipping paint and some wood splitting on front wheels. The cover is reversible from side to side with the original securing fasteners. Sadly. I no longer have the room for this item. The new owner can keep the dated cover and bedding(vintage embroidery) or have it restored to pristine condition. There are a few stains on the cover that show its age, but it is a wonderful piece! I used this buggy with my last two children. There are no tags.The wicker. is in great condition and all the mechanical pieces work good brakes, bed recliner, etc. There is a neat hidden compartment under the mattress on the inside of the carriage and the sliding door on it looks to be original as well. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. Antique Black Wicker Baby Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy. Steel Wheels& Frame Stroller measures approximately 35"H x 15"W x 32"L. It is tagged Travers Manufacturing Co. The stroller is made of wicker with a metal frame. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. The brakes lock good and work as they should(see pic) There is a matching cushion for the base that I have not pictured. But is included. I do not have it with me at this time. For auction is a beautiful 1880s baby buggy carriage with the original blue upholstery. It is in beautiful condition with only a few minor flaws. All of which are fixable. The upholstery is in great original condition, there are tassels that hang in strategic spots to decorate it, and it rolls very nicely. You don't see them in this condition very often. Antique Victorian Heywood Wicker Baby Carriage buggy stroller Parasol 1850
This listing is for a beautiful Antique Victorian Wa kefield Wicker B aby C arriage with Parasol. It was manufactured by Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company of Gardner Mass. My research indicates that this style carriage appeared around 1850. It is in good condition for its age. The only damage to the wicker is on the top back rest. See pic. Also someone started to do a restoration job on it and removed all the material from the inside of the carriage down to bare wood. 3 of the wheels are original wood wheels. One wheel is a replacement metal wheel. I also have a 5th metal wheel as a spare. The parasol has many moth holes in it but it's still amazing that it's still intact. Antique LLOYD Wicker Baby / Doll Carriage / Buggy ~ Very Unique Rare Adjustable
Antique Wicker Baby or Doll Carriage This antique carriage had belonged to my grandmother. I'm not sure if it was hers when she was little or if she had purchased it but she used it to display a large doll. This unique carriage is made of wicker. Metal and leather. It says Lloyd on both of the front hubcaps. The canopy, the back part of the seat and the foot rest are all adjustable. The canopy is hinged and can be positioned either up or down. there are two metal keys on each side that loosen& tighten the canopy) The back of the seat has 4 or 5 different settings- the baby can sit up or lay down. The foot rest can be lowered if the child is sitting and can be raised if the child is laying down so that his/her feet are level. It measures approx. 29" tall(to the top of the canopy/ hood) and approx. 52" from end to end(from ... morethe end of the canopy to the end of the handle) and is approx. 20 1/2" wide(including the metal locks on each side) The handle measures approx. 26" long. The seat measures approx. 10 1/2" wide x 9" deep. The front wheels are approx. 10 1/2" in diameter. The rear wheels are approx. 2 1/2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age. There is a lighter discolored spot near the top of the canopy. There are some nicks along the edge of the wicker trim, the cloth on the underside of the canopy has some stains and a couple of tears in the fabric, the wheels squeak when rolled, there is a little bit of light rust in spots and it is a little dusty. The foot rest is made of leather and is still pretty flexible. Please see photos. I took several but could only post 12 so if you would like to see more. Please email me. Email reasonable offers This Vintage Baby Buggy Carriage is very rare and very unique as you can see. What makes this item stand out are the lower wheels. Of how large they are and that both front and rear wheels are at two different sizes. The rear wheels are slightly larger than the front wheels. As I know this is unique and rare design. The rear wheels measure top to bottom 18inches approximately and the front wheels measure approximately 16inches both still have the old rubber on the metal rim portion and are in great shape. These wheels also makes this baby buggy carriage unique due to how large they are. Wheels seem to be able to be taken off item. I have not tried to due to age. Overall height of baby buggy carriage is approximately 48 inches tall open width is about 21inches outside wheel to outside wheel is 23inches about and length ... moreis approximately 47 inches. The very unique design is very impressive. The wicker basket looks like new and the design on basket is unique as well. The inside has the technology to assist in the baby to either lay flat or have the baby sitting more upright as well. All seems to be working properly. The brake is working properly and very rare design look which locks both back brakes and it functions properly as well. The next best thing is this baby buggy is very old late 1800’s design early 1900’s I’m not sure exactly on the period but overall this is a very nice piece and would make a great addition to any collection. There is one spoke wire missing on rear wheel. And the fabric is old with some very old vintage stains. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Doll 30's 40's
This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece. This carriage is 23" tall at the handlebars and total length is 25" The actual carriage is 19" long. The big wheel is 12 1/4" tall and the small wheel is 8" There is some wicker damage at the arms and some of the pieces are here. This is from the 1890's. I am asking $125.00 as appraised. Vintage 1920s Beige Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage/Buggy/Stroller/Pram
This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. I have several Carriages and can show you all of them and will accept the lower price for the larger purchase. This is local pick up from Orange County. California.
