Vintage Metal Baby Stroller Walker 1950's Bead Wheel Fenders Blue Retro Taylor?
This wonderful stroller comes from an estate- it is adorable and would make a great restoration project. I've been told when finished. These can bring close to $1,200! I don't have the means to restore this beauty so I'm sending it out to the world. It may be a Taylor Tot but I can't guarantee that because it has no numbers or markings on it. It sitting portion of the stroller is 18" tall from floor and the handle is 32" from the floor. As you can see from the photos, it has a wooden front handle, 8 wooden beads and a wooden strolling handle. Each wheel cover is fashioned like a retro fender- sweet! For Sale: A nice little red plaid doll stroller from the 1950's. Construction is metal with vinyl seat and rubber wheels. The footrest is only made of silver painted cardboard and is unbelievably still attached and intact after all these years! This stroller has obviously been well loved and played with. But is still in nice vintage condition. There is surface wear everywhere and the rubber of the wheels has seen a lot of mileage: The only more significant issues are a small tear in the bottom of the vinyl seat.see last photo. and one seam at the back of the seat is tearing and needs to be taped or re-sewn.see 2nd. 3rd and 4th from last photos. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. The Taylor Tot was designed& constucted to last many years. It has dual use fuctionality. It is used as a stroller with a folding push handle. The handle folds down for convenient storage. The stroller can also convert to a baby walker. By easily removing the folding push handle& the floor pan. This stroller does show some wear, but it is very nice condition for its age. The tires& rubber guards on the bumpers are in great shape. There is a crack on the bumper behind the left front& left rear tire. There is some surface rust in various spots but no rust through spots. The seat has been glued at some point in time. An excellent example of a VINTAGE TAYLOR TOT Stroller. Made between the 1940's thru the 1950's this stroller has been unmolested and left in it's original condition over the years. Original Gray Paint and all 4 Airflow Wheel covers are still intact along with the wooden play balls on the front circular bar. The white rubber piping that covers the bars around the stroller are all cracked from age but they are still there but could be replaced. Old wicker stroller with metal frame and wicker body. All the parts seem to be there. The wicker looks to be in good shape. I really see not issues. The handle to push is made of wood. I put and old pillow in d base that fits perfect, it will come with it. Wheel push great, and I see little problems with it. It measures 26" from foot of stroller to handle of stroller, and 26" from wheels to top of moveable cover. Will be a large box to ship and it will be expensive. Wonderful and unique vintage/antique doll baby buggy/pram/carriage/stroller. This is a metal frame in white with blue green colored trim and fleur di les design painted on the metal. The cover is green and adjusts to either side and folds flat. The frame is chrome finished and the wheels are rubber. The interior is finished in white with gold tone stars. There are some rust areas(see pictures) 2 wheel hub covers are missing and overall it needs to be cleaned. Please see pictures as part of the description. There are no markers marks that I can find. the springs are in good condition. Overall, this is a striking piece with the colors and design. This is a Vintage 1950's? Taylor Tot Stroller Metal Foot Rest Pan. Actual pan is a little bit lighter baby blue than pictured. Didn't have good lighting for the pic) It's an original part. Pan is nice and straight with no dents. Even the side handles are straight. It even still has the rubber/vinyl coverings on the two back arms. Black on coverings is just dirt/grime. They are NOT broke. It does have some rust where the feet would have rubbed. And in some other areas as seen in pics. If you need more pics, just ask.
