Antique 1960's Rex Baby Carriage Stroll O Chair Pram Vintage Stroller
Up for bid is an nice Antique 1960's Rex Stroll O Chair Pram style Baby Carriage in good condition. This company used to make these carriages in NYC so this isn't an imported replica. Overall this green stroller with white vinyl inside is in great shape with only few very minor blemishes. It does have one of the hub caps missing and some minor pitting on parts of the chrome undercarriage. The top section is removable and the sun shade is convertible. It also comes with a pad/mattress that looks to be period correct. Any other questions feel free to ask or if you would like done more pics I would be glad to send them. Tears, holes or major stains- needs a light cleaning. The pink mattress has no rips or tears in the pink plastic. There is a little paint loss here and there(nothing major) Rolls easily- plenty of wear left on the wheels. This is a wonderful vintage Wilson Silver Cross baby pram. Model Pastorale White from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The pram body is an off white(some of the photos make it look more yellow, which it is not) with pink and blue decoration flowers. The cover is a baby blue. I believe all the pieces are original and the item has not been restored. There are some signs of age and wear including a light dent in one side of the body, some scratches, edge wear, wear to the cover, all of which I have tried to show in the photos. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. Please keep in mind that I don't know a lot about this type of item. But I have tried to describe it accurately. It is approx 28" long, 21" wide and 28" tall not including the handle. It is a green vinal on the hood and trim and a woven plaid wool/flannel like material in browns and tans on the sides in very good condition. I do not see any tears in the vinal. There is some slight yellowing on the plastic inside and very little rust spots on the rim of wheels(one wheel it is more pronounced as shown) A very special piece that converts 3 uses into one: carriage. 1940's vintage folding baby carriage, buggy, pram. Full size, Green and white
Mid century vintage baby carriage. All metal construction with vinyl or rubberized canvas sides and hard rubber wheels. It folds up for storage. In very good condition with just some small holes on each side of the sun shade that have been repaired with black gorilla tape. The wheels had a few small cracks in the tires. They have been filled in with epoxy and painted to match. Rolls freely and comes with a parking brake. Would be great for displaying a large vintage doll. This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps and fenders. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the ... moretop lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. But it can not be folded up any more than that. The bed itself can be removed from the wheel frame by removing the springs. I will ship it. This is a vintage Pedigree Pram. Brown and Cream. It is in fair condition. Needs some tlc. There is a bit of rust on the hinges-not heavy. A button pin is missing from the left side-craft stores carry them. It rides very well. Surprisingly good suspension and push ease. Okay so here's the story my fellow ebayers! I am a self described seeker of relics(and other things) But Italian made buggies are not things I come across everyday. My daughter actually found this buggy at a flea market auction in rather sad shape. The original plan was to fix it up and she was going to use it for her child who has yet to make his appearance. After finding out she is having a boy, she decided this stroller would no longer suite her needs! So after weeks of work and restoring this nice relic, I find myself stuck with a stroller that I have no use for. I realize this one is not as ornate as some of the ones selling on Ebay, but she sure did clean up rather nicely. however, there are some cosmetic issues that I included in the pictures. The vinyl inside the buggy has two small tears. The metal can be seen on one side of ... morethe buggy cover(also in the pictures) and some smalls stains in the top shade portion that I am not sure how to safely clean out. She sure has been a labor of love and I fear I will not get out what's been invested.but I don't have a choice but to try and sell it. The stroller wheels around perfectly and the chrome shines like a brand new penny. I am not certain of the year as I really do not know much about them. A local antique store owner nearby believes that it is probably early 60's possibly late 50's, but that was his best estimation. At any rate, I am partial to her! I think she is a beauty. Hopefully someone out there in ebay land will agree. Normally returns are not a problem, but with the bigger size of this item that's probably not the best way to go. We have decided to sell our baby pram. This is a great baby carriage that had people stopping in thier tracks(one time a person pulled their car over. Got out and asked to buy it from us! This was manufactured in 1957 and the chrome work on the side resembles the classic belair Chevy. Brakes are operated by foot on the bottom. The top and bottom seperate for transportation. Very sturdy construction as we had both kids in at once when going to functions. It has two spots of noticable damage but does not affect the integrity of the carriage. the small dent in the right side is about the size of a dime and goes in 1/8 of an inch. The other spot is the paint on the front has pulled away but is still intact. I was going to have the carriage repainted but did not want to take away from the original paint job. The chrome fenders and trim shine brightly ... moreand the base even has pinstriping. The ride for the baby is super smooth and cozy(we put one of those baby beds that go on your bed that fits the interior like a glove) This is not like a stroll O with a fabric body- this pram's body is made with a wood exterior. This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. 1920s vintage baby carriage pram with swastika wheels!
Greetings. This auction is for a vintage 1920’s baby pram/ carriage. This is an old family relic that was brought over from Italy. The most unique thing about this item is that it has swastika(yes. The Nazi symbols) on all the hubcaps. I’ve been told that this has nothing to do with Nazis and used to mean“good luck” on 1920’s Italy, but it still makes this piece very unique. Solid iron bars and handle with a wooden base. The base is black with blue and gray accents. The inside is still intact bit the fabric padding has become detached from the wooden base. It has some rust. The carriage has some damage(mostly scratched paint) but still would be perfect for a collector or refurbished. Height– not including the handle- 22 inches Length- 28 inches Width- 12 inches And it does have swastika hubcaps. We are located in Los Angeles CA.
