1800's Vintage Antique Wicker Baby Stroller Buggy Pram all original great condit
We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. This WONDA CHAIR does it all. First and foremost. Is the carriage. It is done in maroon and white and is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. The hood can flip to either end to shade baby from the sun, there is a snap on vinyl cover to protect baby from the weather and the end of the bassinet unsnaps to allow room for growth. Can be adjusted to a semi-reclined position for older babies who want to look around. The bassinet rests on a spring section that attaches to the wheel base. Carriage is very solid and sturdy, and according to vintage ads for the Wonda-chair, very hard to tip over. Bassinet can be removed and placed on the rocking base. The base of the carriage is shiny chrome and still looks fantastic. When the bassinet is removed. Along with the support piece, the chair can be attached, to make a stroller for an older child. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. This Taylor Tot buggy is missing quite a few pieces. But the brunt of the item is still original and still there. What remains to the piece is still in fairly good shape, with no breaks or complete rust throughs. It rolls decently, but could probably stand to be greased up a little bit. The buggy area(doll holder area) measures 6" long. 3 1/4" wide at the front and back, 10" tall from bottom of wheels to top of carriage, 1 3/4" wide on the inside, and the stroller handle is 3" from the buggy. The cover and inside buggy is in good condition and made out of a very thick black strong material. hi.up for bid.vintage/antique baby buggy wheels.set of 4.with hard white rubber tires.these came off of all metal baby buggy.all 4 wheels rolled perfect before i removed from buggy.comes with 3 hubcaps.4 original cotter pins.and 6 washers.1 of the tires has hole(as seen in photo)the diameter of these wheels measure about 13 inches with tire.about 12 inches wheel only.hole where axel goes in on hub measures about 1 inch.tire is about 1 inch wide.and the hubcaps diameter are about 2 1/4 inches.not sure of age but thinking 40s or 50s.there was no makers mark on buggy or wheels.these wheels show signs of age.rusting.Pitting,tires worn,few spokes slightly bent.please see pictures for overall condition.these wheels are still pretty solid though.all 4 wheels together weigh over 8 lbs.any questions please ask.thank you and good luck

Small Vintage Baby Doll Carriage Buggy - Wood Ratan Metal - Collectible!!
Up for auction and your consideration a wonderful small vintage Baby Buggy with black metal and wood and also a rattan design throughout the buggy. Has moving wheels and wood handle for pushing. Very Neat! Makes a nice display piece for the doll collector or just for a shelf as a conversation piece. I used on the floor next to a small truck. The inside has a very heavy black canvas like material which also comprises the hood for the buggy. Wood bottom in the buggy and is made quite well and seems very sturdy. Vintage wicker baby doll stroller buggy carriage not sure of age
This stroller has been stored and even though I vacuumed it. It still shows dust and could use some wood polish on wood parts. It stands 29 1/2" high at highest point(push handle) and 29" long and 12 1/2" across. There is no canopy. I don't know if it is real old or not. Up for sale is a Lovely Babyhood Buggy or Pram with Accessories. This comes with the cage or basket. Inside mattress with cute design, side pocket organizer in pink, and retro fringe yellow canopy cover. All of the items are in great condition. With the sides of the buggy slightly tacky and worn from storage and age. It has been kept in a mostly climate controlled attic for years. The chrome has some slight finish wear, as well as the interior mattress and pocket organizer have some dirt marks and wear. It was bought for her in the early 1950's and on the receipt was the price of $21.95. It is a wood construction painted a slate gray blue with red and white trim not usually seen. There is some minor wear to the paint in areas. The metal parts need a good cleaning and show some wear and rust. All 4 metal Thayer hubcaps are still attached. Vinyl hood has some tears in some areas but overall condition is quite good. Still has flat vinyl cover that attaches to the buggy. In the 1950s. Thayer was one of the best-known makers of baby carriages and strollers in the eastern USA, offering, too, a full line of doll buggies made to look just like the“real” thing. This is a vintage plastic baby doll carriage(probably from the 1960s or'70s) I couldn't find a manufacturer on the product. It's green with white flowers and a vinyl canopy that folds down. The handle and frame are chrome. I believe, and there's a spring underneath the carriage that holds it in place. There are some scrapes from use, and the plastic that held one of the wheels in place(at the back of the wheel) has been replaced with a piece of duct tape, so that wheel(back right) is a bit wobbly. One of the two holes by which the carriage attaches to the frame is torn at the bottom. But still holds the carriage in place(see fourth photo) Note:The spot in the photo is dirt, which I've since wiped away. The mattress pad is not included.
