It was kinda dirty but I gave it a shower. I scrubbed it and then dried it and blew it with a fan for over an hour. I then polished the wood and the metal and the rubber wheels with a wood preservative. And I oiled the wheels. It looks a lot nicer than it did 5 hours ago. I usually hold onto things for a few months before I list them but space is a little limited so on it goes. Its 43" long x 34" tall x 16" wide. Works well. Metal(steel) body, wooden handle and seat and beads(for the baby) Rubber wheels. It works as a walker too when you easily take the handle and the under tray off. Vintage Taylor Tot Twosome Stroller 1956 - P57
Here is an original Taylor Tot purchased from the owner who used it for her now 55 year old daughter back in the day. It is an attic find and cleaned up quite well. It is an unusual Taylor as it comes with a rack bottom and not the typical tray. The rack was extremely dirty but really cleaned up well. Another unusual feature is the bar still attached to back sides of seat to use for a chld to hold on to who would be sitting behind the seat. It's still got its colored beads although certainly faded and rubber bumpers on front and back. Some splitting has occured but it's all there. A bit of rust here and there, mainly tray area. It appears the blue on the seat back is a little lighter than the rest of the stroller except the bar holding the handle; that appears the lighter blue as well. The manufacturer date is February 1956 and the ... moremodel number is P 57(thanks to a helpful ebayer who informed me what's what with this twosome) Per the owner, this stroller is original. This stroller is just wonderful. The Taylor wheels are in good shape also. Handle folds down for storage or can be removed along with the rack to make a walker. This is a heavy stroller.

WOW WOW WOW WOW I am not sure what to think about this AMAZING Taylor Tot stroller. It is either the best reproduction I have ever seen. Someone took a great deal of time restoring one or it has sat in a time capule for the last few decades! Perfect for use. Decorating or the collector. I see one small ding on the paint under on the tray. A bit of scuffing on the front part of the wood. The springs are strong. The black wheels have wear on them, but they are whole& still very usable. Please refer to our photos as tehy are part of the description. We always welcome questions before bidding! I took oodles of pictures, and I sure hope you enjoy viewing this unique cutie as much as I enjoyed painting it! From a barn sale last summer. This poor thing was, literally, rusting its life away in the corner of a barn. I cleaned it up, sanded it as best as I could, primed it, and then the fun began! Using bold primary colors, I just went NUTS making this once all-red stroller a dazzingly bright piece of eye candy! After the background colors were painted and sealed. I then went nuts again painting whimsical child-like animals all around. ... moreColorful owls, elephants on parade, a kitty, puppy, ducky and bunny are featured, with a large teddy bear painting adorning the wooden seat. Prim hearts, stars, polka-dots, and squiggles rounded out the painstakingly, all-done-by-hand paintings! Sealed several more times, and signed discretely by me on the tray under the seat. The 8 original wooden balls on the tray were jazzed up with primary colors to match the stroller. Every animal painting was outlined in black to make the painting"pop" out. Except for the sealant. Every painting, including the background colors, are not done with a spray paint.rather, everything was done painstakingly BY HAND with a paintbrush! This gem took me over 3 weeks to paint! All the wheels roll pretty smoothly. One wheel seems to have more rubber worn off than the other 3.this does not interfere with it rolling. But I wanted to mention it. The handle is strong and firmly in place, and will be removed for shipping purposes. I have not put any of my Grandchildren in this to test it out(my Grandchildren are all either too big or too small for this) But I would say it is safe to stroll a child around in it. This auction is for a two. Antique/ vintage Taylor Tot wheels and tires. These have the original tires. Cast into the tires is“THE GENUINE TAYLOR TOT. The tire diameter is approx. 6 inches with a width of 3/4 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 4 3/8 inches. The wheel is approx. 1 inch wide measured at the axle. The wheels ride on a 5/16 inch axle. As the photos show. These are in nice condition for their age. One issue is there is the remains of some writing with a black marker on one wheel. Both sides(left one in photos) I cleaned this up with lacquer thinner. Yet there is still some remains. I next tried polishing compound with no real luck. Something ore abrasive like rubbing compound might work or a repaint will cover this as it appears that the ink went into the wheels paint. The tires are also nice. Vintage GREEN Taylor Tot Stroller Walker Restored in 2012, NO RESERVE!
Vintage Green Taylor Tot baby stroller and walker. Complete. The last picture was how I had found this over a year ago abandoned in an old garage. I then completely disassembled and sanded all the rust and old paint off. I then chose a neutral(boy or girl) vintage green and white paint scheme and reassembled it. The original wheels were lumpy and long over due so I replaced the wheels. In the last year the original hardware has gotten a little surface rust that can be addressed with steel wool. I would prefer a local buyer to pick up but I will ship at a flat rate of $30 through USPS to the lower 48 states, I will ship further if the buyer pays shipping.

The Genuine Taylor Tot Antique Vtg. Metal/Wood Baby Stroller - Restoration/Parts
I have here another rare find! It’s The Genuine Taylor Tot Stroller made by the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. The wheels are signed) I don’t know what year this model is. But it looks to be more complete than many I’ve seen. It does have the metal foot tray which I know is hard to find these days. It also came with some sort of collapsible canopy which I’ve not seen before. I’m assuming it goes with this stroller– but I haven’t figured out how to attach it. So it’s possible something is missing(parts or simply know-how) that would make attaching it feasible. The zipper on the canopy does work. Though. The stroller also has all 4 wheels and they function just fine. And it has its original wood seat. Please note the fabric is just about worn to a frazzle. I had more pictures– but I couldn’t include them all because I exceeded the maximum# ... moreallowed. But there are rips and tears in it. The staples have pulled out in several places, and, of course, it’s very faded. The chrome is surprisingly in pretty good shape. The stroller does fold up to an extent. I tried to show this in my pictures. But I don’t know if it folds up anymore than you see pictured– or if I just didn’t know what I was doing. That technique might take some practice. J This would certainly be a fantastic piece to restore or to use for parts in your other restorations. You choose. Vintage 1950s P-44 Taylor Tot Blue and White Baby Buggy Stroller
This Taylor Tot buggy is missing quite a few pieces. But the brunt of the item is still original and still there. What remains to the piece is still in fairly good shape, with no breaks or complete rust throughs. It rolls decently, but could probably stand to be greased up a little bit. It's certainly useable as is, but will need to have a replacement handle put on it. On the bottom. It is stamped"64 ATC P-44" and"9-52. This auction is for what I believe to be an antique/ vintage Taylor Tot front swivel wheel and tire. The wheel spins freely. With some play in the bearings/ bushing. The tire diameter is approx. 3 7/8 inches with a width of 5/8 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 3 3/8 inches. The wheel is approx. 1 1/8 inch wide measured at the axle. The swivel attachment pin with the acorn nut appears to be a 5/16NC with the length of this stud being approx. 2 inches. The tires obviously show some wear. Photos pretty much show condition. Many eBayers remember their own mothers using similar strollers during the 1950s. 1960s, or earlier. These beautiful strollers were considered the'Cadillac' of baby walkers in their time. The Frank F. Taylor Company was founded in Norwood. Ohio, in 1921. In 1964, the company relocated to Frankfort, Kentucky, and continued to manufacture strollers in bright colors. Did YOU ride in one of these strollers during your childhood? Or your parents during their childhood? ^ ^^(Pictures above are NOT the same model as the item up for auction. But are clearly Taylor Tot brand strollers)^^* Although you can find many other Taylor Tots stroller/walkers here on eBay and online. I've found it difficult to find one just like this one. I don't know if it is what you call'rare' but I had trouble finding another one to compare it to. I'm not sure yet the exact age. But I will go over it with a magnifying glass to see if it has the date or other manufacturing info on it. This antique Taylor Tot stroller is from a late relative's estate. Original paint and accessories. Due to the age of this unique stroller some surface rust is on the stroller and some paint is chipped off of the stroller. And the wooden seat is split in a straight line. The rubber sleeves on the front and rear rails have all but cracked and fallen off. But overall the stroller is a must for all dealers and collectors. Stroller's handle collapses for easy storage and carry and is truly a collectible piece. Would not be hard to bring it back to it's original condition. You can still see the P57 stamp on bottom which is the model number of this stroller. And also the month and year, 2-56 for February of 1956. THis seat was a little longer so a second child could ride on the back of seat behind the child in front. It is 22 5/8" long from tip to tip and 9 1/8" at the widest part. Very good condition. THIS IS FOR A VINTAGE ORIGINAL TAYLOR-TOT STROLLER/WALKER FROM THE 1940'S-50'S. THIS IS IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE UN-ALTERED AND COULD BE RESTORED IF NEEDED. ONLY PART THAT MAY BE MISSING IS THE FOOT RACK/GRILL THAT IS NOT USED WHEN IT IS A WALKER. THE HANDLE FOLDS AS IT SHOULD AND THE WHEELS ROLL GOOD. THE WOOD SEAT HAS A CRACK THAT SOMEONE TRIED TO REPAIR AT ONE TIME AND DID NOT DO CORRECTLY. ALL THE WHEELS AND TIRES LOOK GOOD EXCEPT ONE VERY SMALL PIECE MISSING IN ONE( SEE PICTURE 7) THERE IS LITE SURFACE RUST. SOME PAINT LOSS, ETC. BUT NOT BAD FOR THE AGE. Vintage Metal Taylor Tot Baby Buggy Stroller. Restoration Project
This stoller is in working condition and has all original parts. There is a little damage around that front as you can see in the picture. From what I can tell all the pieces are still there and have not been repaired.
