Up for bid is this vintage TAYLOR-TOT Baby Doll Stroller. Manufactured in the 1960's by the Frank F. Taylor Company of Haywood. Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio. This wonderful Stroller is completely collapsable making it handy for easy storage in your trunk so you can take it along with wherever you go. The handle easily collapses with a push of a button, either for heigth adjustment or for storage.The paint is original in blue/cream color, with the normal wear due to age and usage. The Taylor Tot labels are original and show some slight wear. The chrome tubular framing is in good condition- minor scratches, rust/pitting. It appears complete(other than one screw on handle) and performs well. The piece is marked on the bottom of the seat: P-45& 8-48. I believe the first is the model number and the second is a manufacturing date. Amazingly. There is still some of the original paper label on the front(much easier to replicate for restoration) The piece transforms easily from a stroller into a walker. This also makes it easy to store and put into a vehicle. The base unit measures 18 1/2" wide x 25" long x 18" tall. Vintage 1952 TAYLOR TOT BABY STROLLER/WALKER-Wood, Steel & Rubber-P45
You have to have at least 10 feedbacks to bid on or buy this item. I know that this is Taylor Tot because of the model number I found on the bottom of the seat. A wonderful thing I bought today. It works pretty well. It was kinda dirty but I gave it a shower. I scrubbed it and then dried it and blew it with a fan for over an hour. I then polished the wood and the metal and the rubber wheels with a wood preservative. And I oiled the wheels. It looks a lot nicer than it did 5 hours ago. I usually hold onto things for a few months before I list them but space is a little limited so on it goes. Its 43" long x 34" tall x 16" wide. Works well. Metal(steel) body, wooden handle and seat and beads(for the baby) Rubber wheels. It works as a walker too when you easily take the handle and the under tray off. The handle will retract and come off, that’s how it will ship also so it will fit in a smaller box. This is vintage and has never been restored. You can see the cracking in the rubber bumpers, this model has spring suspension, you can see the age in the wood and metal parts, whoever buys this will likely leave it as it is or restore it. I do not know if all the original parts are on this. I have seen others that had a bottom sheet, so please see the pictures of this one. This will probably ship in a box approx. 27x20x18 inches. Taylor Tot Stroller Baby Buggy Walker Blue Streamline Fender Skirts Vintage
Hello! You are bidding on a vintage Taylor Tot baby stroller/walker with all the bells and whistles. It has the locking brake mechanism for the back wheels and the awesome streamline wheel fenders. The push-handle folds down for more compact transportation. It has the original cushion cover for the adjustable back but it is not in very good condition. The buggy is in very good used condition with no major damage or condition issues I can find– just normal wear(as pictured. If you need more pictures/scans I will be happy to email them to you) I think the seat was repainted long ago and when they reassembled it they put the beads in the position you see– they originally went in the middle section. The only thing I can see that is missing are the decals and one wing nut and carriage bolt on the adjustable back, otherwise it is complete. The ... morefloor plate is easily removable so as the child gets older it can be used as a walker. The rubber cushioning/protectors are in remarkable condition compared to what you usually see. Super cute with original parts and not refurbished. Has super nice logo decal on seat and one on front end with has a little wear. The stroller measures- by. Has a collapsible handle for transporting and storage and a lower detachable tray so child can walk the stroller him/her self. There is a small tray in the front for snacks and has four colored wooden balls for child's play. The long collapsible hand has a wooden handle as does the front of the stroller. CONDITION: The stroller is in nice vintage condition. The pictures will be the best assessment to condition. There is some surface rusting but no destruction to the metal. the coloring is great. Vtg '50s Blue Wards Taylor Tot? Baby Stroller/Walker w/Art Deco Fenders
Estate find! Original with wear and surface rust(the tray seems to be the worst) Overall good condition. Wheels roll and in my opinon are in good shape. Needs restoring or display as is. Rubber bumpers seem to be in decent shape in my opinion. Handles and foot rest detach and will be shipped that way. Wood handles are in great shape and seem to be made of oak. I would imagine the seat is. Too, but can't say for sure. Wood beads are faded. Only a couple of screws are missing- easily replaced by your friendly, neighborhood hardware store employee. This has a parking brake. There is a lever located between the two rear wheels which activate rods that fit into holes on the inner rims of the rear wheels to lock movement. Pretty simple! Stylish. Art deco style fenders. Lovely baby blue color. Beads on tray kept the toddler entertained. Paint ... moreon wooden areas shows wear. Label on seat is barely legible but'WARDS' and'Walker' can be made out. This may have been made for Wards by Taylor Tot. It looks like the Taylor Tots I've seen but I cannot say that it is a Taylor Tot for sure. WELCOME! I have up for sale this ORIGINAL. Completely restored, Taylor-Tot Stroller/ Walker. This one is a vintage 1930's-40's Deluxe model. With the FENDERS! Features included; wheel covers, play beads and food tray, spring suspension, wheel lock, and 1" pnumatic tires. This one has been totally professionally restored down to the new rubber on the bumpers and to the original decals! This Taylor-Tot was completely disassembled. All parts sanded clean, primed, and painted in original colors of romance blue and yellow ivory. Three coats of enamel were baked on, and clear coated. There is a stamp mark underneath, 5-52, which I believe is the date stamp for May 1952. The front& rear spring suspension is intact. This is a nice stroller that is 100% complete& original. But not just any stroller…it was the premiere baby stroller of the 20th century. From hours on hours of research, it seems they were made from the 1920’s till the 1970’s. The company was the Frank F. Taylor Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. One of the nation's major manufacturers of toys is the Frank F. Taylor Co. Inc. 2801 Highland Avenue, Norwood, Ohio, maker of the nationally famous"Taylor-Tot" baby walkers, tricycles, and ... moretoy bicycles. Strollers similar to the Taylor Tot have a history going back to the twenties. The earliest versions had a handle which was attached at the front. So that the stroller was pulled rather than pushed. By the fifties the handle had developed imaginatively, and was not only removable, but also formed a second seat, behind the first, which was useful for another toddler, or for a bag of groceries. Remove the handles and the floor pan, you have a"walker" that a youngster could push himself around in. Competing companies made versions of this stroller. But most were virtually identical to this one. All had the beads in front, painted or stained wood at first, later replaced by plastic) a metal play or snack tray, some sort of wire bumper in front, and usually in back, a wooden seat, and a removable stamped metal foot tray. These strollers, much more than the Folda-Rolas, were very often used, with handle and foot tray removed, inside homes as walkers. Vintage 1940's/1950's Blue Taylor Tot Baby Stroller/Walker Restoration Prodject
Up for consideration is a Vintage Original 1940's/1950's Blue and White Taylor Tot Child's Stroller/Walker. There are now markings so I am not sure that this is a"Taylor Tot" The ones that looks like mine are describing it this way It measures approx. 25" Long(from bumper to bumper) x 18 1/2" wide(across bumper in front) x 16" Tall(from ground to top of seat) It has all the typical wear from age and use as in. Dings, scratches, paint loss, cracks in wood, and rust. The fenders are missing. The rubber coating does have some ware(last 2 photos) The seat is made of wood and it has wooden beads across the front for the child's entertainment. I'm not an expert on these strollers so I'm not sure what other parts if any that its missing. All parts work the way they should. Vintage 40's Genuine Taylor - Tot Baby Stroller / Walker
This is an AWESOME Genuine Taylor- Tot Stroller/ Walker. It has all the Pieces. And is in overall great shape for it's age. Perfect for restoration. It has the Retro Fenders over the tires that are in excellent shape, the brake mechanism works, and just needs a little TLC. The only issue is a little surface rust. It's a great piece.

Vintage Metal Baby Stroller 1940's-50s Bead Wheel Fenders Gray Retro Taylor Tot
An excellent example of a VINTAGE TAYLOR TOT Stroller. Made between the 1940's thru the 1950's this stroller has been unmolested and left in it's original condition over the years. Original Gray Paint and all 4 Airflow Wheel covers are still intact along with the wooden play balls on the front circular bar. The white rubber piping that covers the bars around the stroller are all cracked from age but they are still there but could be replaced. The wooden seat has a crack from age but can be fixed with some wood glue and a clamp. If you have any questions or need additional pictures then please e mail me.
