The fabric(vinyl-like canvas) is has holes both in the bonnet and in the bottom, has stains, and is worn, brittle, and dirty. The metal has worn paint and corrosion. One of the wood pieces that the wheel connects to is broken. There is some split wood on the bent wood(picture 10) and the rest of the wood is soiled, scuffed, and scraped. Selling a pair of 6 1/2 inch buggy wheels for a baby stroller or carriage or old wagon. This pair of wheels has an axle hole of about 1/4" and the axle shaft is about 1.25 inches long. The metal wheel alone is about 5.5 inches in diameter but with the rubber tire. The outside diameter is 6.5 inches. Spokes are real solid and tire rubber is solid also. Okay so here's the story my fellow ebayers! I am a self described seeker of relics(and other things) But Italian made buggies are not things I come across everyday. My daughter actually found this buggy at a flea market auction in rather sad shape. The original plan was to fix it up and she was going to use it for her child who has yet to make his appearance. After finding out she is having a boy, she decided this stroller would no longer suite her needs! So after weeks of work and restoring this nice relic, I find myself stuck with a stroller that I have no use for. I realize this one is not as ornate as some of the ones selling on Ebay, but she sure did clean up rather nicely. however, there are some cosmetic issues that I included in the pictures. The vinyl inside the buggy has two small tears. The metal can be seen on one side of ... morethe buggy cover(also in the pictures) and some smalls stains in the top shade portion that I am not sure how to safely clean out. She sure has been a labor of love and I fear I will not get out what's been invested.but I don't have a choice but to try and sell it. The stroller wheels around perfectly and the chrome shines like a brand new penny. I am not certain of the year as I really do not know much about them. A local antique store owner nearby believes that it is probably early 60's possibly late 50's, but that was his best estimation. At any rate, I am partial to her! I think she is a beauty. Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. Vintage Hedstrom Navy Blue Stroller This is a wonderful Full Size Stroller made by the Hedstrom company. It has a navy retractable bonnet that locks when opened. Large wheels with plenty of rubber on the tires. Locking mechanism to prevent roll-away. Vintage 1920s Beige Wicker Baby/Doll Carriage/Buggy/Stroller/Pram
This charming Buggy is unique because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the wicker. Iron wheels, pretty cotton lining and even a little hubcap. This carriage is 26" tall to the top of the hood. The carriage is 19" long, 32" long total. The wheels are 7 1/2 inches diameter and have a'G' on them. There is some damage to the top hood and the plastic windows are cracked. The grip of the handlebars is wrapped in tape but it almost appears to be made this way. I have several Carriages and can show you all of them and will accept the lower price for the larger purchase. This is local pick up from Orange County. California. Up for bid is a Black Baby Carriage original stroller. Circa estimated 1940's to 1960's. Condition all original with Peslo style Canopy. Condition quite good for it's age. Carriage body very good, light wear. Some wear to canopy, inside light wear. Chrome needs shined up has light surface rust. Wheels original slight to little wear white rubber type on outside. Frame sturdy and very good condition. Has a brake for secure stop. About 42" tall to top of canopy. 35" tall to push bar total length 36" long, with handle about 43" long. Inside about 33" long, width outer edge left side of handle to right side of handle about 20" wide. Inside boards show discoloration due to age. No mattress, carriage has minor flaws, see pics) used but in vintage condition. Selling"as is" use"as is" or ... morefor parts or restoration.
