The carriage/buggy is in pretty good condition. ... moreIt appears to made of wicker. Wood, and a type of metal. It is brown with black frame, and black wheels, with beautiful spiraled supports. The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. Old wicker stroller with metal frame and wicker body. All the parts seem to be there. The wicker looks to be in good shape. I really see not issues. The handle to push is made of wood. I put and old pillow in d base that fits perfect, it will come with it. Wheel push great, and I see little problems with it. It measures 26" from foot of stroller to handle of stroller, and 26" from wheels to top of moveable cover. Will be a large box to ship and it will be expensive. Please note that when bidding and make sure you are aware. It would be a nice item for any little girl and would last a lifetime if cared for.

There is a canopy but it looks too large for this stroller. But it is an original stroller canopy with all the original period hardware. Unless the wood has swelled out it's not for this stroller but comes with it in this auction just in case! Appears to be original paint. 65% of original factory sticker still there. Wicker has come unravelled. The length is there to be re-rushed. the wheels will need a little work, But they are all there and attached with the original caps.

Wonderful and unique vintage/antique doll baby buggy/pram/carriage/stroller. This is a metal frame in white with blue green colored trim and fleur di les design painted on the metal. The cover is green and adjusts to either side and folds flat. The frame is chrome finished and the wheels are rubber. The interior is finished in white with gold tone stars. There are some rust areas(see pictures) 2 wheel hub covers are missing and overall it needs to be cleaned. Please see pictures as part of the description. There are no markers marks that I can find. the springs are in good condition. Overall, this is a striking piece with the colors and design. The measurements are: Length from end to handle end: 37" Height from floor to top of extended cover: 34" Floor to handle: 27 1/2" Interior Basket: 13" wide. 25" length, 10" ... moredepth. Vintage-(Antique looking) Wooden/Metal Doll Baby Buggy
UNIQUE Vintage/Antiquish Doll Baby Buggy- Four(4) Metal dual-spoked(3x2) wheels attached to an axle and S-framed spring system. Axle goes through barrel wheel connector and is attached with washer& cotter pin. S-curved shock frame is attached to S-curved Dual Push f Handle(wooden lathe shaped rod) All is attached to Baby basket frame. Front and end pieces are wicker interwoven. Sides look like a Abacus with wood frame& 3 shaped upright dowels on each side. The top rim is an oval shaped wooden piece. The baby basket is lined with a black leather type material. At the head of the buggy is an accordion folding head protector that has 4 metal arch rods connected by rivet& bracket and provide sun protection. This protector may fold down to a 3-7/8" to fully up at 6-1/4" This convertible rag top(to speak) is held to wooden ... moreframe by small wire. not sure if original) Rag top is made of black(dried finish) leather and is moved up and down by by angled bracket and wooden handle. Wood& metal are brown finish and all leather material is black. Overall Measurements: 12.5" long x 5-1/8" wide x 14" high. Doll cradle measurements: 9-1/4" x 5-1/8" wide x 3-5/8" deep. FYI- there is a small amount of pink paint on one wheel washer& cotter pin(nearest right side of handle) There may be a few other minor blemishes. But this piece is in excellent condition. OUTSTANDING PIECE- Great for any décor or for use with smaller. Old or Victorian Baby doll.
