I am listing some items from my aunts estate. I have very little knowledge of them so I will do the best I can with photos and descriptions. Most of the items were stored and have very little or no signs of wear. They come from a smoke free home. I removed this set from the packaging box to take the photos that I needed to take for this auction. From what I can tell this is a vintage pram doll stroller made of wood and iron. It looks like it had once had beading and satin added. The wood on the doll carriage has no cracks. Handle is firm. There is no names on either bear or carriage. Carriage wooden and wicker with rolling wheels. It is 12" high x 11" long. The posable Bear is 6.5" long. Looks like a Boyds Bears. But there is no clothing or tags, so I can't guarantee. Antique Doll Carriage Hand Painted Wood All Original
Antique doll carriage. It is hand painted cream with a horse on either side. The carriage side is dark blue with orange decoration. It has the original black fabric top which is very worn and has a tear in the middle. This could be replaced. The beauty of this carriage is the hand carving and it's age dating to the mid 1800's. There are two small wood wheels in the front. And two larger wheels in the back. Some of the old paint still remains on the wheels. The carriage with the handle included measures 34" long, and 25" tall. The carriage itself is 25" long, and 13" tall. Wheel to wheel is 10 1/2" It's a great old carriage for a doll or teddy bear. OLD PRIMITIVE PIG HEAD WICKER CARRIAGE– NO RESERVE! This is a gorgeous hard-to-find display piece for any folk art or doll/bear collection! I purchased this unusual and whimsical old buggy at an antique show some time ago. It’s the cutest buggy I’ve seen in my travels! The dealer had it in his personal collection for years and said it was antique folk art. I don’t know much about buggies and I can’t verify the age. But I can tell it definitely has some age. As an antique bear collector I was immediately drawn to it. As I have never seen one like it before and it made for a great teddy display! See photo above of bears displayed in buggy(note: bears are not included in this auction) The dealer, on the other hand, said he kept it in his dining room filled with dried flowers. I’m sure that looked good too. Whatever the use, it’s great on display ... morealone or filled with something interesting. The pig head is carved wood and it has a great dark primitive look with red painted eyes. Nose and mouth. The buggy is made of wood and wicker with an iron frame. It has lots of rust on the metal areas and the wheels are a combination of metal and wood. The wicker carriage is lined with an oil cloth type of canvas held down with tiny rusty nails. The underside is a little scratched up and there are no makers marks on it. Dimensions: It measures 25” from the curved handle to the pig’s snout- 17” from handle down to the surface. 18” from snout to the end of the wicker basket. The basket itself is 14” long by 7” at it’s widest point. The pig’s head is about 5” long. Condition Report: This buggy is in very good condition. The wheels all turn fine and this buggy is tight and sturdy. There is some rust and patina and a build up of dust and dirt around the wheels. Etc. There is also wear on the left side of the handle(as seen in photo) but otherwise it’s strong, sturdy with no odors or any serious issue. This beautiful and unique carriage stands about 11" tall(bottom of wheels to canopy tip) About 10 inches long(back of wheels to push handles) and about 5" across the widest portion of the canopy. Antique 1890's Pram Decorative Wicker Baby Doll Buggy/Carriage Med. Wood Tone
This carriage is 23" tall at the handlebars and total length is 25" The actual carriage is 19" long. The big wheel is 12 1/4" tall and the small wheel is 8" There is some wicker damage at the arms and some of the pieces are here. This is from the 1890's. I am asking $125.00 as appraised. Antique Style Decorative Baby Carriage, Wood, Metal & Canvas, Home Decor
Up for your consideration is a antique-style baby doll carriage for an awesome display in a doll collection room. Or even in a baby’s room. Condition is extremely good for a piece of this nature. I would NOT suggest using this as an actual baby carriage for any child. The wooden inserts inside the wheels are slightly warped. The left front wheel does not rotate very well. However the other three are fine. I really have a hard time finding problems with this item. So I took a lot of photos. This life-size exquisite piece stands approximately 3 feet tall. From bottom of wheel to top of cover, 2 feet in length, not including the wheel and handle extensions and 1 foot in width. It is made of wood. Metal and a canvas or cloth material. The entire basket structure is made of wood in a very decorative filigree style. Connected to a solid, curved ... morewood frame. The hood and basket portions are a very heavy. Black canvas/burlap/cloth material. The handle has two sleigh-like wooden extensions from the carriage. With an 11 ½ inch decorative dowel for pushing. The undercarriage has a small piece of wood all the way across to act as a support and has a metal frame from the carriage down to the wheels. There are four attachments. Each with a curled piece of metal, that helps to cusionn the ride with a springing motion. It has a metal‘X’ at the bottom. To maintain stability The wheels are made of metal. With wood inserted inside the metal as a sort of tire, to keep the spokes in place. Two axles. Spokes and even cotter pins to attach to axle. They measure approximately 12 inches in diameter. The photos show the piece the winning bidder will receive. Due to the size and fragile nature of this item. It is offered for pick-up only. You may arrange for a shipper to carry it to you at your cost. The location of the carriage is Kingman, Arizona. Has original paint and pinstripes. The body and wheels are good. The wheels are wooden with metal rings. The top is in good condition with fringe. Does have a small tear.
