I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. This is meant for a baby and could be brought back into service for a special mother that appreciates a classic vintage style! Wouldnt this be a hit at a baby shower filled with presents? Payment. Two of the leather straps supporting carriage broke while I was putting the carriage back together so I used bungee cords to demonstrate how it is supposed to be(see photo) I do have the original strap and if taken to a shoemaker most likely can be repaired or they can make a new one. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy, Earth Brown, 1950s
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. Inside mattress with cute design, side pocket organizer in pink, and retro fringe yellow canopy cover. All of the items are in great condition. With the sides of the buggy slightly tacky and worn from storage and age. It has been kept in a mostly climate controlled attic for years. The chrome has some slight finish wear, as well as the interior mattress and pocket organizer have some dirt marks and wear. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The baby doll carriage has a hood that protects baby from the outside elements. ... moreThis hood also has the ability to be put down and to lay flat. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This item would make a great addition to any baby doll Pram collection. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Glides and turns smoothly, etc. It is very sturdy and was well made and will collapse for easy storage. It has a very faint smell of smoke to it from having been stored in a smoker's home; otherwise it is very clean. Since I have acquired it, I have noticed much of the odor has dissipated. Measuring 44" long, 36" high and 18" wide, condition is excellent considering the age, with normal age patina on the metal, and typical aging of the rubber on the wheels. The wicker appears to be in remarkably wonderful shape with no holes or other visible issues. There are remnants of a sticker on the bottom which may have identified the manufacturer; however nothing really remains of any use in identifying the maker. Please e-mail any questions. Here is an antique wicker baby doll carriage. It has a sticker on its underside that says Meinecke Milwaukee. From the internet search. I gathered that Meineke founded a toy store there in 1855, followed by a willow factory where they among others goods, made carriages. Measures 28" tall, 24" long and generally 10" wide( top is a little wider) Steel frame with wooden handle and rubber treads. Has the adjustable back where baby can lie down more fully. Rubber treads have seen better days but it rolls smoothly and with ease. Antique baby carriage buggy 1800's wood metal leather PRAM parasol cover Large
Very Nice 1800's baby carriage that has been restored. It is in excellent condition having been stored for last 10 years and not display. While this is not our expertise we will answer any questions. This is baby or small child size not a doll size. It is fairly large measuring approx 45" to top of parasol approx 50" long from handle to front. 24" wide at wheels. Parasol measures 21"x16" Front wheels approx 20" diameter. Rear wheels approx 24" diameter. The previous owners spent $1,200 restoring it to display in their home. It is upholstered in what appears to be leather. The frame is metal and the handle is turned wood. The wheels are wood. There are 2 screws missing that we have noticed, one that holds the head rest detail at one end(the other end connects to parasol upright) and one screw where the ... morepush handle joins the back of the carriage seat(it is one of 4) doesn't affect performance. Easy fixes obviously, just pointing out what we observed. The canopy or parasol leans slightly to the left when viewed from rear(not a big deal and the head rest screw may fix the lean) Black sides and rear covers were made in 3 pieces and snap on at top and bottom and have a strap that allow them to be unsnapped at the bottom and rolled up and tied at the top. The rear panel has small window. Having been restored I know for the purist it is not in original condition but it was professionally done. The wheels and frame have gold detail on black that is very striking. It is in display ready condition. While this is available for local pick up we will assist in shipping or freight any way possible. Note FREE shipping is to the contiguous 48 states and assumes basic dis-assembly taking the wheels. There are 2 separate pieces to the baby buggy carriage which are original to each other and came together-the pieces are not attached to each other as the straps and mechanisms which held them together are not present-please view pics of the two separate pieces-pieces are original to each other and the carriage and were one unit when made in the 19th century(see pics) I will mail these pieces separately(in individual boxes) because of the size& weight consideration when mailing. Antique Child or Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy Pram Cart in Oak and Metal MINT
You are bidding on a unique carriage. Buggy or cart for a child or doll that is Victorian or Edwardian in style. The carriage is in excellent shape. The carriage is made of wood(oak) and iron. It has two adorable red spoke wheels and an oak handle decorated with inscribed lines. The handle also fold and has a locking system. The seats and cushion are also in red with gold trim. The seat has a leather strap with a picture of a young child and the seat itself has a reversible back so the child can sit facing either way. The cushion on the seat says" E-Z Go" in gold letters. This is a great looking and solidly made carriage or buggy. This carriage appears to have a kind of spring system to cushion the ride. It is in surprisingly good shape considering its age: the wheels and"tire" are good and the wood and leather are in ... morenice shape. The paint is mostly there although there is some crazing. There seems to be one small slat of wood missing on the side. I may be able to supply a properly sized piece of oak(I remember making one a while back. But never used it as the carriage looks fine the way it is- I may be able to find it) I am shipping this taken apart: 6 bolts;two that hold the handle and 4 that hold the seat. It is easy to put back and I will supply instructions. I can ship it together. But the cost would be almost 3 times as much because the box is over sized. CLASSIC VINTAGE PEREGO PRAM BABY CARRIAGE STROLLER
A Classic Vintage Perego pram which can also serve as a bassinet in-house. Moving easily from room to room, it has a brushed flannel outer covering in Navy blue with a white vinyl interior and a new white vinyl quilted mattress. It also has a Navy flannel snap-on cover with a clear vinyl windbreak and a full cover elasticized bug net for use outdoors. It is used, but this treasure has been carefully stored and preserved indoors and is in excellent condition. The carriage body is removable from the wheel chassis which collapses for ease in storage. The chrome wheel covers have minute age-related specks on them but are not rusted. It has brake locks and rocking capability when stationary. No problem taking a sleeping baby from indoors to go for a walk in the park! I would prefer local pickup but will ship if necessary. Vintage 6.5" Boyds Bears & 12" Wicker Wood Pram Baby Doll Stroller Carriage Set
I am listing some items from my aunts estate. I have very little knowledge of them so I will do the best I can with photos and descriptions. Most of the items were stored and have very little or no signs of wear. They come from a smoke free home. I removed this set from the packaging box to take the photos that I needed to take for this auction. From what I can tell this is a vintage pram doll stroller made of wood and iron. It looks like it had once had beading and satin added. The wood on the doll carriage has no cracks. Handle is firm. There is no names on either bear or carriage. Carriage wooden and wicker with rolling wheels. It is 12" high x 11" long. The posable Bear is 6.5" long. Looks like a Boyds Bears. But there is no clothing or tags, so I can't guarantee. According to the Pram Museum it is a 1920's USA model. One of the first full size buggies designed for transporting in a sedan with it's compact size when folded. Also includes a fabric panel that can be adjusted for the baby to sit up and a large"secret" compartment under the bed. Unhooking a clasp on the bottom of the bed enables the baby to be rocked back and forth from pivots by the handle and the rear. Collapsible sun shade. Wheels consist of metal rims and rubber tires. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Pram Buggy 1940s Original From Germany
This is a vintage wicker baby carriage/ pram/ stroller that is convertible! As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. It is in great condition for its age. The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The handle can be undone and repositioned so as to stroll the baby from either direction. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel hub caps and fenders have some rust issues as you can see from the photographs. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. Local Pickup only or arrange for your own shipping at your own cost.
