I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. This is meant for a baby and could be brought back into service for a special mother that appreciates a classic vintage style! Wouldnt this be a hit at a baby shower filled with presents? Payment. Antique baby carriage buggy 1800's wood metal leather PRAM parasol cover Large
Very Nice 1800's baby carriage that has been restored. It is in excellent condition having been stored for last 10 years and not display. While this is not our expertise we will answer any questions. This is baby or small child size not a doll size. It is fairly large measuring approx 45" to top of parasol approx 50" long from handle to front. 24" wide at wheels. Parasol measures 21"x16" Front wheels approx 20" diameter. Rear wheels approx 24" diameter. The previous owners spent $1,200 restoring it to display in their home. It is upholstered in what appears to be leather. The frame is metal and the handle is turned wood. The wheels are wood. There are 2 screws missing that we have noticed, one that holds the head rest detail at one end(the other end connects to parasol upright) and one screw where the ... morepush handle joins the back of the carriage seat(it is one of 4) doesn't affect performance. Easy fixes obviously, just pointing out what we observed. The canopy or parasol leans slightly to the left when viewed from rear(not a big deal and the head rest screw may fix the lean) Black sides and rear covers were made in 3 pieces and snap on at top and bottom and have a strap that allow them to be unsnapped at the bottom and rolled up and tied at the top. The rear panel has small window. Having been restored I know for the purist it is not in original condition but it was professionally done. The wheels and frame have gold detail on black that is very striking. It is in display ready condition. You are bidding on a unique carriage. Buggy or cart for a child or doll that is Victorian or Edwardian in style. The carriage is in excellent shape. The carriage is made of wood(oak) and iron. It has two adorable red spoke wheels and an oak handle decorated with inscribed lines. The handle also fold and has a locking system. The seats and cushion are also in red with gold trim. The seat has a leather strap with a picture of a young child and the seat itself has a reversible back so the child can sit facing either way. The cushion on the seat says" E-Z Go" in gold letters. This is a great looking and solidly made carriage or buggy. This carriage appears to have a kind of spring system to cushion the ride. It is in surprisingly good shape considering its age: the wheels and"tire" are good and the wood and leather are in ... morenice shape. The paint is mostly there although there is some crazing. There seems to be one small slat of wood missing on the side. I may be able to supply a properly sized piece of oak(I remember making one a while back. But never used it as the carriage looks fine the way it is- I may be able to find it) I am shipping this taken apart: 6 bolts;two that hold the handle and 4 that hold the seat. This is a vintage wicker baby carriage/ pram/ stroller that is convertible! As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. It is in great condition for its age. The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The handle can be undone and repositioned so as to stroll the baby from either direction. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel hub caps and fenders have some rust issues as you can see from the photographs. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking. This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. There is some very light wear for it's age and discoloration on the fabric and lining from use and age. Vintage Pram with detachable parasol. The parasol has springs top& bottom that allow you to adjust where it covers. It is missing 1 rod in the top of it but it can most likely be replaced. The leather straps on the bottom are ok but could use new ones. They hold the seat in the frame and act as the shocks. Break works perfect. Covering is really nice. Wheels are 6" and in good shape. These buggies run about $450 and restored, $950-$1000. This one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable headrest or seat inside, adjustable canopy, removable snap half cover, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Mattress is 2 inches thick. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age-it's been passed down in the family for a few generations. Tried to capture areas of wear in the pictures: one side has tiny tears near the gold detailing, one top corner is worn, wheels ... morehave cracks, and there is rust on the metal under frame. In response to a question about folding up: The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the top lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage w/ Parasol. Pram Style Buggy. Early 1890 This baby carriage is from the Victorian period and in nice working condition. A wonderful display for photography. Displaying a doll collection. Or pushing your little angel around town. Update: I had a local seamstress sew a beautiful new cover for the parasol with lace. See new photos. And I will include the old pattern with the carriage. But this really made a wonderful addition to this carriage. The material is free floating and not sewn into the umbrella. And this could be done for a tighter fit. But this way the material is not under stress for display. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the ... morehandle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any damage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is new(see update above) So the only damage is on the wicker footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. It appears the wicker was painted or maybe this is the original paint. Not sure, it all looks untouched as the paint is concerned. Beautiful. Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller. This is a beautiful stroller! I was told when I submitted the pics to a Dealer in England. That it's a Pram Doll Stroller. I'm not 100% because I think it also has a lot of the characteristics of the Bilt Rite, but I do know it is from the 1930's. It does have some condition issues. There are a few rips in the canopy. See Pics) There are some rust on the wheels, hardware, handle, and on most of the metal throughout. There is also some scuffs on the paint of the carriage itself. Large Antique Pram - Baby Stoller carriage Buggy - Full Size, not for dolls
My Dad& I uncovered this beauty within a storage unit we purchased at auction. It is a large. Full-size pram- not the small ones intended for use with dolls. From talking with others. We are thinking it's from the early 1920s but really cannot be certain. One antique shop said it was a"Nanny's Buggy" and looks to have been really cared for. Vintage antique baby pram carriage- stroller- buggy. It is missing the hood/canopy piece. Overall condition is very nice for the age- there are no rips. Tears, holes or major stains- needs a light cleaning. The pink mattress has no rips or tears in the pink plastic. There is a little paint loss here and there(nothing major) Rolls easily- plenty of wear left on the wheels. The carriage part measures 32" x 15 1/2" x 9" It collapses down to 15" very easily- bring the handle forward and it goes down for easy storage. Great way to display vintage dolls or bears. The new owner can keep the dated cover and bedding(vintage embroidery) or have it restored to pristine condition. There are a few stains on the cover that show its age, but it is a wonderful piece! Bolts and screws were also replaced. The buggy wood structure. Metal frame and spoke wheels are all in very good condition. The hinges on the hood work as they should and open and close with ease. Up for sale we have a very rare vintage baby carriage. It is estimated to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has metal framing. Metal wheels, with a wooden body, there is a pad where the baby would normally lay. and if you lift it up there are springs underneath, it has a leather hood. This particular carriage carries a unique crest on the side. It also displays a great deal of what looks like hand carving/wood scallops on the sides of the carriage. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. This pram carriage buggy stroller is in very good conditon. It is very clean and the chrome is in really good shape for it's age. Still shiny! The aluminun plates on the bottom are a little stained. But everyone i have seen has this same issue. It still has it's hub caps. The inside is very white"see pictures" usually they yellow with age. It also comes with a toile pram blanket and covered mattress pad. The mattress pad can be removed to the original white if desired. It is also in good condition. As far as i know from research it is made by Babyhood and is a Wonda pram. You can take the top part off and make it a bassinet. You can also remove the chrome stand from the bassinet, and fold the handles down on the stroller base to make it easier to store or load in your vehicle. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy WASHINGTON DC Brown
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, it seems like something was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. ... more4) One of the two break pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country. Edwardian 1920's Tulle Net Cover for Baby Pram. Buggy or Carriage As Is Dating from the Edwardian. 1920's era, a tulle net cover sold as is for a baby carriage, pram or buggy. More than likely, the cover is home sewn. Edging of the cover is trimmed in blue rayon silk ribbon and narrow lace. Ribbon bows at each of the corners. The cover measures 53" x 67" Never laundered. Antique Victorian(late 1800's) wood doll carriage with metal side pieces. A leather type hood/canopy and wooden handle. all appear to be original parts. The hood/canopy has some tears due to the age of the item(see photos) The back of the canopy has a lovely oval window and the back flap rolls up with ties(see photos) Wood body is painted a light green color and has stenciled design 12 inch 8 spoke wooden wheels on the back and 8 1/2 inch 6 spoke wooden wheels on the front.
