The leg/foot rest adjust from going straight out to pivoting so it is under the seat and virtually unseen. The back rest folds down to the point of the seat. The canopy pivots to either direction. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. There is a large 5" crack at the back and a smaller crack on the front as well as an approx. 1"x1" missing piece on the front edge. Handle shows some rust and the metal is dull. These 4 brand new replacement wheels(for either doll or baby buggy/stroller/carriage) these were in the original box that they were mailed in when I got them but the box was completely falling apart so I do not have it- I would guess these to be over 50 years old because the former owner's only daughter is over 60 years old. The name'Chris Kaye Madison. Ill. 4751' is on the wheels. They are rubber and plastic but heavy thick plastic, they feel like metal but a magnet will not stick to them. The greenish part is exactly 3 1/4" across and with the rubber, they are a little over 4 1/4" They are very pretty with no scratches. Package will be a little over 2 pounds. Welsh Easy Tow Vintage baby doll stroller from the late 40's. Early 50's. The primary color is grey with white seams. There is a dark green stripe. Some wrinkles and dust from storage but has aged very well. The buggy is easy to set upright and collapse to folding position. The hood moves easily into position. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. Am listing this item for the Owner of the Antique Center. It measures approx. 36 1/2" tall by 43 1/2" long by 22" wide. The seat is 13" by 14" wide. The back of the seat is 15 1/4" high by 12" wide. The neat thing is that although the fabric has been nicely redone. It comes with a box where the original fabric, for both the carriage and the parasol, was stored in, to leave no doubt of its age. This item will be hard to pack and ship. So it will definitely have to be either picked up at Mount Vernon Antique Center here in Alexandria, or it will have to go via freight, we recommend TSC Moving, but keep in mind they can take from 2-8 weeks to deliver, depending on location and driver's schedule. It is in pretty good condition for it's age and would display beautifully! The celluloid window is missing and the rubber on one wheel is worn but the wicker is intact. Antique Black Wicker Baby Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy. Steel Wheels& Frame Stroller measures approximately 35"H x 15"W x 32"L. It is tagged Travers Manufacturing Co. The stroller is made of wicker with a metal frame. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. The brakes lock good and work as they should(see pic) There is a matching cushion for the base that I have not pictured. But is included. I do not have it with me at this time. Antique 1940's-50's Bilt Rite Baby Carriage Buggy Stroller in Brown. Bilt Rite was once the top of the line company for the production of baby buggies. Non-restored. These buggies can run about $450 and restored, upwards $950-$1000. As far as I can tell this one has not been restored but everything is in working order. Features spring suspension, adjustable canopy, and working brakes. Inside measures 31 inches long by 14 inches wide with a 7 inch depth to mattress top. Outside measure 48 inches long by 48 inches tall. Wheels are 12 inches in diameter. Condition is quite good for its age. This item is from an old 3 generation farm estate sale. See photos item is as shown. There is some rust, wheels have minor cracks, and there is some rust on the metal under frame. The hood on the buggy folds down and the handle can fold up over the ... moretop lowering the bed down to rest right on top of the wheels. But it can not be folded up any more than that. The bed itself can be removed from the wheel frame by removing the springs. I will ship it. BUT, it would need to be taken apart and i can not be reasonable for anything that may break. however if there is a problem with the packing and shipping part, I will notify you and we can cancel auction with mutual agreement to do so. Folds up and in great condition for the age. The material on the top has a few tears and holes. It looks like it has had previous repairs.
