11 1/2" diameter with the hub having a 1/2" diameter center hole. Hub is 2 3/8" in depth. Paint on the wooden hubs and spokes is original and sort of a yellowish cream with one side being accented with red striping. Rubber on the tires is good with one having about a 3/16" separation between the rubber joint. Rims are steel. They're pretty nice. Antique baby doll stroller,carriage,buggy,circa 1870
This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. It has been taken care of very well. Cleaned only with warm cloth to remove dust, never cleaned with any chemicals. Antique O.W. Siebert Wicker Perambulator, Baby Carriage, Large Doll Size Pram
This auction is for an antique large doll size pram made by the"O.W. Siebert Co" of Gardner. Massachusetts. It is in good working condition however there is some damage to the wicker on the front of the pram(as seen in photos)and the inside shows signs of age but it is all original. The rubber tires with wood spoked wheels roll easily and the hood and footwell adjust as designed. Even the brake/wheel lock still operates correctly. Over the years we have used this lovely piece as an end table. Plant stand, a display for antique dolls and even as a baby carriage for our daughter as she was quite small. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. QUALITY COLLIER ANTIQUE VINTAGE BABY CARRIAGE STROLLER PRAM DOLL COLLAPSES
Beautiful piece for display or use. These models notoriously collapse when used unless being pushed and stand up on their own with side locks when standing without movement. Also fold down very nicely. Chrome is in exceptional shape. The only flaws are shown in the photos including a slightly slipping seam(pictures on the corner hardly able to see it at all) and the stitching that came undone on the corner of the canopy. EXCELLENT SHAPE. At first I thought it was a replica but when I looked closer. It was clearly the original. White wheels, no issues. These things sell for very high prices and all mechanical components are in tact and functioning. This will require a large box! Mind the shipping cost. Which is why the price is so low to start. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage w/ Parasol. Pram Style Buggie, Early 1890 This baby carriage is from the Victorian period and in nice working condition. A wonderful display for photography. Displaying a doll collection, or pushing your little angel around town. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the handle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any ... moredamage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is aged with some staining and the lace is damaged. But an easy repair for someone that sews. The only damage on the wicker is at the footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. It appears the wicker was painted or maybe this is the original paint. Not sure. I could deliver this carriage if within reason of my area in Michigan. And the carriage can be also picked up. Small Vintage Baby Doll Stroller Collection Toy Buggy Ratan Carriage
This Baby Doll Carriage would make a great addition to any collection. I tried to get good pictures from every view so you can see the very detailed work of art that this piece is. The buggy area(doll holder area) measures 6" long. 3 1/4" wide at the front and back, 10" tall from bottom of wheels to top of carriage, 1 3/4" wide on the inside, and the stroller handle is 3" from the buggy. The cover and inside buggy is in good condition and made out of a very thick black strong material. The buggy is made of a sturdy wood, and embellished with wicker or rattan designs on each side, and front and back. The wheels are made of cast iron, and the rods on the wood handle also. So Charming.The Carriage is made from natural wicker with spindle wheels and dripping with ivory lacy frills. Ivory and pink ribbons, matching dried flowers and a hand made lace tatting doily. I'm not sure of it's actual age. But the relatives handling the Estate know that it has been present in the home for quite some time. The natural wicker is in fine condition. I see no sign of damage. This stroller has been stored and even though I vacuumed it. It still shows dust and could use some wood polish on wood parts. It stands 29 1/2" high at highest point(push handle) and 29" long and 12 1/2" across. There is no canopy. I don't know if it is real old or not. Antique baby doll stroller, carriage. Very nice, ornate and well built.
Up for sale is a beautiful antique baby stroller/carriage. It`s mainly constructed of wicker. But there is some metal integrated in it as well. The wheels mimic the old style wagon wheels. This is more intricate and built better than most other strollers. The only damage to this piece is with a piece of wicker that has flexed but NOT snapped all the way through. I have tried to capture it the best I could in the last pic. The stroller is about 25 inches tall and 26 inches wide. The wheels spin freely and are attached good.nothing flimsy. I have put a bear in it with a helmet for scale. This would make a good addition to any doll collection. Any photographer could use this as a prop as well. The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The baby doll carriage has a hood that protects baby from the outside elements. ... moreThis hood also has the ability to be put down and to lay flat. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. A beautiful baby doll buggy made in the Amish Country of Illinois. I bought three of these back in the 1980's. Just sold the small one. This is the large one and I've also a medium sized one that I'm keeping. They are made of canvas, wood and metal. Very solid, sturdy and extremely well made. This large one has no issues or concerns. The handle to push the buggy is slanted and that's how it was when I bought it. It does roll w/o a problem. The bonnet can be moved up and down, but would need to be oiled. Vintage Green & White Flowers Baby Doll Carriage Buggy Stroller Plastic
This is a vintage plastic baby doll carriage(probably from the 1960s or'70s) I couldn't find a manufacturer on the product. It's green with white flowers and a vinyl canopy that folds down. The handle and frame are chrome. I believe, and there's a spring underneath the carriage that holds it in place. There are some scrapes from use, and the plastic that held one of the wheels in place(at the back of the wheel) has been replaced with a piece of duct tape, so that wheel(back right) is a bit wobbly. One of the two holes by which the carriage attaches to the frame is torn at the bottom. But still holds the carriage in place(see fourth photo) Note:The spot in the photo is dirt, which I've since wiped away. The mattress pad is not included. Mass in Commemoration of Sixty-Five Years of Continuous Production. There is a photo of this carriage as a"recent" model in the book, which would date it to c.1920. The carriage comes with a fabric doll as described below. Scroll down to see more photos of the doll and carriage. The carriage comes from the attic of a historic home and the doll was with it. So we are including it with the carriage. Condition: Carriage is in amazing condition for its age! See photos. Very Difficult to find one. Let alone one that does not have layers of spray paint on it! We've included tons of photos and lots of detail so please look carefully. The doll must have been loved more than the Velveteen Rabbit, as she is hug-worn and the fabric, has some signs of hand-stitched mending, considerable wear at some of the seams, a cut on one arm, and at the back of her head the fabric is split. Loads of charm, though, and repairable for a nice display. Doll is an old one and appears to be stuffed with cotton batting or maybe wool- definitely not fiberfill or poly. Rare Vintage Stroller for doll or baby This unit it large enough to be used for an actual baby. Some of the noteable features of this carriage include: It folds up for storage or transport. The leg/foot rest adjust from going straight out to pivoting so it is under the seat and virtually unseen. The back rest folds down to the point of the seat. The canopy pivots to either direction. The canopy material had some rips in it- tape. Glue, paint were used to prevent further damage. Has a lever that can be moved to brake a back wheel when parked. The metal is bent a little and the handle bars where they attach to the wood on bottom are missing one square nut. The metal brackets that hold the hood on are bent. It has some of the original cloth in obvious tattered condition. The end folds down. The wicker on the sides are in pretty good shape and would make good replacement panels for another buggie. Here is an antique wicker baby doll carriage. It has a sticker on its underside that says Meinecke Milwaukee. From the internet search. I gathered that Meineke founded a toy store there in 1855, followed by a willow factory where they among others goods, made carriages. Measures 28" tall, 24" long and generally 10" wide( top is a little wider) Steel frame with wooden handle and rubber treads. Has the adjustable back where baby can lie down more fully. Please scroll to see all photos and ask questions if I missed some detail. Thanks! CONDITION: There are a few spots where the wicker has breaks. Paint wear on the metal frame and on wooden handle. Rubber treads have seen better days but it rolls smoothly and with ease. I tried to weigh this on my postal scale but due to its awkward configuration, I am unsure of the precision in ... morenumbers given, saying it is 10 pounds. djere2911 Store Doll buggy unique wicker movable wheels. Hinged adjustable shade, lace trimmed fabric lining.very good condition for age. Lots of pictures so you can see condition and age. No markings so I cannot tell if this is a reproduction. Dimensions are: 9" length, 10 1/2" height, 5 1/2" width, wheels are 2 1/2" in diameter. A very smart Ebayer suggested that this would make a lovely photo prop. It is not large enough to hold a baby. But a child dressed in victorian christening dress, holding this lace covered.toy would make a very pretty picture. Note: someone just told me that because the wheels are wooden. Not metal, that this is a reproduction. I don't know.
