Measures 48" long by 40" tall by 22" wide. Very rare find. One wheel is a little bent and the rubber from the rims is long gone. No rips or tears in upholstery. The woman I purchased this from was a doll collector. It was in her family for nearly 100 years and she used it as a display piece for her dolls. Rare Vintage Stroller for doll or baby This unit it large enough to be used for an actual baby. Some of the noteable features of this carriage include: It folds up for storage or transport. The leg/foot rest adjust from going straight out to pivoting so it is under the seat and virtually unseen. The back rest folds down to the point of the seat. The canopy pivots to either direction. The canopy material had some rips in it- tape. Glue, paint were used to prevent further damage. Has a lever that can be moved to brake a back wheel when parked. All original other than the 2 bolts connecting the canopy to the frame. On the front of the back rest is a girl with a sheep. 4 sliding wooden balls on the front safety bar to be played with. ANTIQUE LLOYD WICKER CAR SEAT BABY CARRY DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE
This is an antique child/baby seat made by Lloyds Loom Co. I anticipate it to be turn of the century and used to transport babies in wagons or the new-fangled automobiles. It is about 28" long. It has an adjustable handle on the back to adjust the front valence. Canopy also adjusts with wing nuts. Wicker is in excellent condition- one wear spot on the canopy and a few slightly frayed ends. Some rust in the steel base and one wood cross member appears to have been replaced. It has a leather strap with"Lloyd" tooled in the middle. The end snap pulled through so I glued it with some VLP cement. I will ship in as small of box as I can which will mean taking off the canopy so some assembly will be required. The carriage is wood with a scalloped edge, looks like original paint, the wheels are also wood. There is a curved metal support under the carriage, a portion of one bracket is missing. The metal piece in front of the handle may have held some type of cover that is gone now. The wheels wobble and are intact. The interior of the carriage is partially lined with antique wallpaper. Probaly hate me later for it but damn tell me he's not a good looking boy. The Carriage is made of wicker. The top piece folds forward and back again for the sun or wind. The headrest rises up and down. It measures 22" long with out the handle, 27" with the handle, it is 23" from bottom of wheel to top of sun blocker, it leans to the right alittle if you behind it, that can be ajusted. Vintage Welsh Easy Fold Collapsible Baby Doll Carriage. It measures approximately 23 inches from front to back(not including the handle) It is turquoise green and has red edges and decorative lines. The frame is all metal and the buggy is a cloth vinyl like material. The rubber on the tires are worn however it does still roll easily. There are some small tears in the canopy. And also a small tear along a bottom seam. There is age appropriate oxidization. This is a a great piece for any collection. Display, merchandising or play, or for a good project to restore. These 4 brand new replacement wheels(for either doll or baby buggy/stroller/carriage) these were in the original box that they were mailed in when I got them but the box was completely falling apart so I do not have it- I would guess these to be over 50 years old because the former owner's only daughter is over 60 years old. The name'Chris Kaye Madison. Ill. 4751' is on the wheels. They are rubber and plastic but heavy thick plastic, they feel like metal but a magnet will not stick to them. The greenish part is exactly 3 1/4" across and with the rubber, they are a little over 4 1/4" They are very pretty with no scratches. Package will be a little over 2 pounds. Antique Victorian Baby Carriage w/ Parasol, Pram Style Buggy, Doll Display
Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage w/ Parasol. Pram Style Buggy. Early 1890 This baby carriage is from the Victorian period and in nice working condition. A wonderful display for photography. Displaying a doll collection. Or pushing your little angel around town. Update: I had a local seamstress sew a beautiful new cover for the parasol with lace. See new photos. And I will include the old pattern with the carriage. But this really made a wonderful addition to this carriage. The material is free floating and not sewn into the umbrella. And this could be done for a tighter fit. But this way the material is not under stress for display. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the ... morehandle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any damage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is new(see update above) So the only damage is on the wicker footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. It appears the wicker was painted or maybe this is the original paint. Not sure, it all looks untouched as the paint is concerned. Beautiful. This is a very old victorian stick and ball carriage C 1890. It has muted colors of red. White, and blue. This carriage is frail and has chipping paint and some wood splitting on front wheels. This carriage displays beautifully but shouldn't be handled much. This is perfect for antique doll collectors or antique stores. Considering her age she is still just beautiful. Measures 26"H x 9"W. Folding canopy, wood handle, iron metal framing and spoke wheels. Welsh Easy Tow Vintage baby doll stroller from the late 40's. Early 50's. The primary color is grey with white seams. There is a dark green stripe. Some wrinkles and dust from storage but has aged very well. The buggy is easy to set upright and collapse to folding position. The hood moves easily into position. The cover has a snap that is no longer attached to the material. It would need to be repaired to use this cover(snap is present) All other parts work the way they should. Buggy shows age& wear. I believe this is a Heywood Wakefield wicker baby carriage. There are no tags.The wicker. is in great condition and all the mechanical pieces work good brakes, bed recliner, etc. There is a neat hidden compartment under the mattress on the inside of the carriage and the sliding door on it looks to be original as well. The handle is wooden and the wheels are all in tact and move freely there is no rush sorry to say it's missing the hood but otherwise everything is in great working condition nice condition for it's age. vintage baby/ buggy blue with white wheels I think the handle and the bottom metal is Chrome but I am not sure.the metal is in very good condition no rust or corrosion. The hood or bonnet is plastic and has a few small holes in it. Some are the size of a pin hole. If you're in front of the buggy and you're looking at the right side the hood has a 2 inch split in it I took a picture of it. I will disassemble the handle at least for shipping. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. The cotton lining material appears to have been replaced several decades ago with some cotton denim. It appears to be at least 100 years old given the type of wheels it has. It obviously was well used, but still appears sturdy. It looks to be iron and steel, painted black, with some rust spots. The fabric appears to be replaced, but it probably was based on the original pattern. A great addition to any vintage toy or doll collection. The condition of the vinyl is good with a little wear but no real damage. The metal has some areas with scratches and pitting but again still nice vintage shape. The place for baby is about 17" long, 9" wide, and 7" tall. the baby is meant to"sleep" propped up on the padded vinyl insert/pillow so there is more room for a slightly larger doll. The insert is cute with a baby paraphernalia pattern and has been taped in a few places. The bed part is wicker and metal and wood. and it is pink with a blue and red pattern painted on the sides. The hood can come off by removing the screws. The hood- sun bonnet- can be adjusted to tilt to the front or to the back. The wheels part of this buggy is metal. There is metal attaching the wheels to the carriage and the handle is metal. The 2 wheels do not have the decorative bolt covers but ... moreare functional. Michigan Rubber Wheels- Dropping 2 Position Back- Foot Brake AUTHENTIC- Unrestored Well Maintained Toy Gorgeous Condition- Made in 1925 At auction is featured a fantastic Estate Sale purchase from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Listed is this lovely antique wicker Baby Doll Carriage made by Lloyd Loom Products of Menominee. Michigan in 1925. This is the same Carriage seen featured in the 1925 edition of the November Ladies' Home Journal. This carriage is all original in lightly played-with condition and everything works WELL. Paint is missing from the wooden handle. One of the locking eyelets on the drop down back appears to have been repaired-by-Dad with a different sized eyelet, and the fabric has many small marks/stains, but no smells or signs of repair. ... moreThe wrought iron metal armature is in near mint condition, the foot brake works and locks into position strongly, and the hardware holding the Wicker Bonnet is firm and snug, allowing you to adjust the Bonnet to multiple positions. The rubber wheels show signs of wear from use, but are evenly worn and have NONE of the shrinking gaps one normally sees when rubber dries out. Rubber wheels remain hydrated and ready to use condition. Shipping should be stress free as this is a very sturdy(still) and well constructed baby doll stroller. I have no idea of its age, but people tell me and other listings indicate it is an antique. I am calling it vintage or perhaps antique, similar to myself.
