I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. This is meant for a baby and could be brought back into service for a special mother that appreciates a classic vintage style! Wouldnt this be a hit at a baby shower filled with presents? Payment. Vintage Bilt-Rite Doll Baby Carriage Stroller Buggy
This is a vintage Bilt-Rite baby/doll carriage that has been in my parent's attic since about the late 1960's. I believe it was built sometime in the 1950's. Generally very good condition with working suspension. Vinyl is in good condition with no rips or tears but the top of the rail on the left side is beginning to lift. Chrome on the handle. Suspension, wheels and hubcaps is rough and would need to be replated or painted. Fogged paint on the sides of the body is in very good condition. Unfortunately because of the size and bulk of this item, I've got to make it pick-up only from Washington, NJ 07882 but I could possibly delivery within a small radius. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask any specific questions before bidding.

I THINK this is a reproduction really beautiful wicker baby buggy on metal frame. Rubber rimmed metal wheels. Buggy is in excellent. The buggy is white with beige trim. Some of the screws and bolts are been replaced. It is 33" x 13" x 30" up at the handle. 22 1/2 up to top of buggy. It has twine/strings that hold up the top that hook to little knobs on the top of the basket part of the buggy. It has a little pillow that comes with it but no other bedding. Thank you for looking. Who said it was theirs when they were small, and that person is 55 years old. I am not sure what material the buggy is made out of. But the material feels like the material of a shower curtain. Measurement: buggy is about 20 inches long. Around 23 to 24 inches tall from the floor to the very top and about 9 inches wide. Contents: 1950's pink and flower designed metal Baby Doll Carriage/Buggy. Condition: a large part of the material connecting around the metal bars is either torn off or has cuts or slits. This is primarily the case on the top parts of the buggy. The material also has some dirty parts and stains in certain areas. Primarily noticeable on the pink area. The metal parts of the buggy are still ... morein good shape. With only minor rusting in certain areas. The buggy still folds up okay and the wheels are still in pretty good shape and the buggy still rolls nicely. There are minor dents and leans on some of the metal areas. There are no holes or cuts on the bottom area where the baby lays. Overall condition is okay for its age. Everything seems to be original and It would make a nice looking restored vintage baby buggy. Antique wood and iron double baby pram. In original condition. This piece shows minimal wear and damage. It is painted black and upholstered in black and has brass trim on the carved white handle. There is one seat cushion missing and it has a couple of small tears and wear to the interior. It also needs one small cap for the wheel. The seat compartment is 38" x 17 1/4" and holds two small children. It stands 37 1/4" tall, total length is 48" and is 23 1/4" wide. 11 1/2" diameter with the hub having a 1/2" diameter center hole. Hub is 2 3/8" in depth. Paint on the wooden hubs and spokes is original and sort of a yellowish cream with one side being accented with red striping. Rubber on the tires is good with one having about a 3/16" separation between the rubber joint. Rims are steel. They're pretty nice. The hood can flip to either end to shade baby from the sun, there is a snap on vinyl cover to protect baby from the weather and the end of the bassinet unsnaps to allow room for growth. Can be adjusted to a semi-reclined position for older babies who want to look around. The bassinet rests on a spring section that attaches to the wheel base. Carriage is very solid and sturdy, and according to vintage ads for the Wonda-chair, very hard to tip over. Bassinet can be removed and placed on the rocking base. The base of the carriage is shiny chrome and still looks fantastic. When the bassinet is removed. Along with the support piece, the chair can be attached, to make a stroller for an older child. Antique baby doll stroller,carriage,buggy,circa 1870
This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. It has been taken care of very well. Cleaned only with warm cloth to remove dust, never cleaned with any chemicals. Up for bid is a Black Baby Carriage original stroller. Circa 1940's to 1950's. Condition all original with Peslo style Canopy. Condition quite good for it's age. Carriage body very good, light wear. Some wear to canopy, inside light wear. Chrome needs shined up has light surface rust. Wheels original slight to little wear white rubber type on outside. Frame sturdy and very good condition. Has a brake for secure stop. About 42" tall to top of canopy. 35" tall to push bar total length 36" long, with handle about 43" long. Inside about 33" long, width outer edge left side of handle to right side of handle about 20" wide. Inside boards show discoloration due to age. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. In this listing. We have a very RARE and Spectacular Victorian Baby Carriage(Prambulator) in what I believe is it's original condiition including the attached umbrella. I believe it is from the late 1800's and quite a beautiful and unique piece. It could and actually should be placed in a museum. This is a quality carriage and quite large. It measures approximately 43" long, without handle and 26" wide(Hub to Hub) The basket size is approximately 33" L x 19" w and the height is approximately 60" as pictured but the umbrella is adjustable. Handle to front of wheel measures about 53" The spoked front wheels are approximately 20" in diameter and the larger rear wheels are approximately 22" in diameter. The original padding, one side pink, the other side blue is faded with some stains but still ... morein great condition for its age. The umbrella is stained some too but when I originally acquired it, I removed the stains. I did this by carefully applying a stain remover. It looked great but after about 20 years in my home, it could be cleaned and done again or leave as it is. This will be the buyers decision. If you own an antique store or have a doll collection. Small Vintage Baby Doll Stroller Collection Toy Buggy Ratan Carriage
This Baby Doll Carriage would make a great addition to any collection. I tried to get good pictures from every view so you can see the very detailed work of art that this piece is. The buggy area(doll holder area) measures 6" long. 3 1/4" wide at the front and back, 10" tall from bottom of wheels to top of carriage, 1 3/4" wide on the inside, and the stroller handle is 3" from the buggy. The cover and inside buggy is in good condition and made out of a very thick black strong material. The buggy is made of a sturdy wood, and embellished with wicker or rattan designs on each side, and front and back. The wheels are made of cast iron, and the rods on the wood handle also. The wheel diameter is 8 1/2 inches with a width measured at the axle hole of 2 inches. The 12 spoke wheels show some surface rust on the spokes and rims and will need a cleaning and repaint. Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. This stroller has been stored and even though I vacuumed it. It still shows dust and could use some wood polish on wood parts. It stands 29 1/2" high at highest point(push handle) and 29" long and 12 1/2" across. There is no canopy. I don't know if it is real old or not.
