DETAILS Vintage 1960's-1970's ... morePerego Baby Buggy Stroller Carriage Made In Italy Two Attachments: Bassinet& Toddler Stroller This listing is for a vintage 1960's/70's Perego brand baby buggy and stroller. This is a great vintage piece in nice condition for it's age. This set was made by Perego in Italy in the 1960's/70's. It features a steel tube frame with rubber wheels and two carrier attachments. The two attachments are a baby bassinet for a small baby to lie down in. And a toddler seat with straps and buckles and an adjustable back so the child can lie down or sit upright. Both attachments fit easily onto the same frame so you can use the bassinet when your child is small and change it out to the toddler stroller when they get a bit older. The carriers are made of steel tubing with a baby blue fabric covering and blue and white plaid rubberized interior for easy cleaning. Each of the attachments have hoods and covers and the stroller is fully adjustable. This is a great set for display or use! Condition: This stroller set is vintage and used but in good condition. There is some very light wear for it's age and discoloration on the fabric and lining from use and age. The steel tube frame has some light pitting in places and there is some wear on the white rubber wheels. Overall the stroller is structurally sound and rolls nicely. Please look closely at the photos to see all the pieces that are included and ask us any questions before bidding. Dimensions: With either of the carriage attachments the stroller measures approximately 46" x 36" x 21" although the bassinet attachment is a little bit larger. more pictures below description* This auction is for 4 NEW OLD STOCK 4.25" METAL WHEELS WITH SHAFT BEARING AND HARD RUBBER TREAD NOT SURE WHAT THESE WERE FOR(maybe industrial for carts or maybe for toys. Pedal car, baby buggies or carraiges. These are old but the rubber is still good. I dropped one from 4 feet in the air and it bounced slightly with no dent or damage. The metal is dirty and rusty-could be cleaned up. Bearings seem to turn without problem. The bearing hole is slightly smaller than 1/4 inch. Selling a pair of 6 1/2 inch buggy wheels for a baby stroller or carriage or old wagon. This pair of wheels has an axle hole of about 1/4" and the axle shaft is about 1.25 inches long. The metal wheel alone is about 5.5 inches in diameter but with the rubber tire. The outside diameter is 6.5 inches. Spokes are real solid and tire rubber is solid also. Vintage set of Metal Spoked, Rubber Tire Baby Buggy wheels and axles VGC
Old baby buggy wheels and axles. They have pressed steel spoked rims. All 4 are in excellent shape, with nice patina and no bend, cuts or twists. The tires are original and in good shape. With tread and are tight to the rims. The axles do have a slight arc which will straighten out easily. Overall condition is very good and I was going to use them for a project that is no longer in the works. Please see the pics for a good look at them. Size is: 9” between rims on axle. Length of axles are 11” they are 3/16” diameter, rims are 1” thick at hub, outside diameter of tires is 5” tires are ½” thick. Antique 13 3/4 inch diameter. Hand made wood with metal rims encased with hard rubber, baby buggy wheels. The spokes are 2 1/4 inches wide and the hole in the hub size is 3/8 inches. They are in wonderful condition with no splitting wood and very much intact. Wonderful home décor or ready for your antique baby buggy. Comes from a smoke free home. 1920s Family Antique Wood Wheels Green Wicker Baby Buggy Stroller PICKUP Ohio
We are not antique collectors. But instead have some family items to part with due to clearing their estate. This buggy held my father and his siblings who were all born in the early 1920s- and WWII veterans. It could be FA Whitney Carriage Company but no markings on it that we can find- so don't know the manufacturer. There is a name plate inside the seat area. But it is blank or it was painted over. It measures approx. 45" length from handle to end; handle height is 36" From floor to top of hood is approx. 40" Width of baby buggy is 19" Wood Wheels are 13.5" diam The wood wheel spokes and wood have hard rubber tire and have lots of wear left in them. A real nice piece that moves well. Has a foot brake that works perfectly, and the adjustable carriage hood moves back and forth. Also the baby's seat is adjustable ... moreto a reclining position. Springs appear in good condition. Also had the seat cushion inside. The cushion is soiled of course. But the buggy is in good condition. No damage to the wicker that we can see. Green wicker with white painted trim. Nice baby carriage. Doll stroller, or great décor piece! We are offering this for pickup only at this time in NE Ohio.
