Wicker measures about 13 inches across from side to side top and about 11 inches deep. 13 inches tall from the floor to the center back of the wicker top. Wheels are about 8 inches round with the little back wheels to help prevent tipping are 1.5 inches round Pull handle extends about 22 inches long when it is placed to be straight. Fold back into the seat at about 16 inches for the baby to hold. I cannot find any types of"maker markings" No chips with some edge rubbings here and there. Wicker shows some pull with a few strips popped out a bit. Little pillow seat included. Not sure if it is an original but it sure matches the style with little tastles along the bottom in an off white, cream color showing a few age spots. This darling items deserves a loving home! It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. I believe this is a Heywood Wakefield wicker baby carriage. There are no tags.The wicker. is in great condition and all the mechanical pieces work good brakes, bed recliner, etc. There is a neat hidden compartment under the mattress on the inside of the carriage and the sliding door on it looks to be original as well. The handle is wooden and the wheels are all in tact and move freely there is no rush sorry to say it's missing the hood but otherwise everything is in great working condition nice condition for it's age. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. The cover can fold and unfold; the wheels can move round and round. It is very sturdy. But a bit dusty. It came from an estate sale. I don't see any problems with the wicker. The bedding is not removable. It is a bit heavy and even though a small doll could take a ride in this carriage or buggy, I think it is more of a display item. Paint is missing from the wooden handle. One of the locking eyelets on the drop down back appears to have been repaired-by-Dad with a different sized eyelet, and the fabric has many small marks/stains, but no smells or signs of repair. ... moreThe wrought iron metal armature is in near mint condition, the foot brake works and locks into position strongly, and the hardware holding the Wicker Bonnet is firm and snug, allowing you to adjust the Bonnet to multiple positions. From an Estate we have an American genuine antique Victorian doll carriage from the late 1800s or early 1900s with Victorian style Doll. The doll is a Bradley collectible doll from the 1980's. She is dressed in vintage clothing. Her dress is soft yellow lace and she has a matching hat. Parasol, knickers and leather lace up shoes. She is the perfect compliment for this awesome antique coll carriage. Made in the late 1800s this is a wicker"convertible" carriage. It was made in this smaller version for Victorian girls to model their mothers' behavior with their dolls. The carriage goes from sitting to laying down with the aid of a lever and was advertised as being a GO CART. They used a lot of Fiber to make their pieces. They produced a lot of wicker in the 1920's. They were not so high quality as Heywood Bros.and Wakefield Co. This is indeed pretty rare. If you consider that they may have used less quality materials. There is one small area of wicker missing, it is in the lower back and is not visible when a doll is in the bed. The wheels are 10 inch metal spokes with a hard rubber tire. The carriage is about 30 inches tall. 18 inches wide and about 34 inches long. The neat thing is that although the fabric has been nicely redone. It comes with a box where the original fabric, for both the carriage and the parasol, was stored in, to leave no doubt of its age. This item will be hard to pack and ship. This is from an estate sale and has NOT been restored and is in the original condition which is as near mint as you can get. The only things I see is the color has faded with time and I think was a Peach Pink color and there is some age wear on the metal fixture items like screws. Etc. The hood slides forward and back with Port Hole windows on both sides with a plastic type pane intact, rubber on metal wheels is intact, all hub caps on wheels are intact. No cracks or breaks in the wicker. The push bar handle is wood painted black on the metal uprights. There is a lever to lower the back inside wood section to lower the doll from upright position to recline slightly or lay flat. There is a plate on the bottom that reads"Meier& Frank Co. I'm not sure if it was hers when she was little or if she had purchased it but she used it to display a large doll. This unique carriage is made of wicker. Metal and leather. It says Lloyd on both of the front hubcaps. The canopy, the back part of the seat and the foot rest are all adjustable. The canopy is hinged and can be positioned either up or down. there are two metal keys on each side that loosen& tighten the canopy) The back of the seat has 4 or 5 different settings- the baby can sit up or lay down. The foot rest can be lowered if the child is sitting and can be raised if the child is laying down so that his/her feet are level. It measures approx. 29" tall(to the top of the canopy/ hood) and approx. 52" from end to end(from ... morethe end of the canopy to the end of the handle) and is approx. 20 1/2" wide(including the metal locks on each side) The handle measures approx. 26" long. The seat measures approx. 10 1/2" wide x 9" deep. The front wheels are approx. 10 1/2" in diameter. The rear wheels are approx. 2 1/2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age. There is a lighter discolored spot near the top of the canopy. There are some nicks along the edge of the wicker trim, the cloth on the underside of the canopy has some stains and a couple of tears in the fabric, the wheels squeak when rolled, there is a little bit of light rust in spots and it is a little dusty. Antique 1890's Pram Decorative Wicker Baby Doll Buggy/Carriage Med. Wood Tone
This carriage is 23" tall at the handlebars and total length is 25" The actual carriage is 19" long. The big wheel is 12 1/4" tall and the small wheel is 8" There is some wicker damage at the arms and some of the pieces are here. This is from the 1890's. I am asking $125.00 as appraised. This antique wicker carriage is in good condition but certainly shows age and wear. The handle has been wrapped and the cane is probably separated underneath because it bends there. I have not unwrapped it to examine. The leather is now cracked and hard. The wheels work well.

Good Day! Today. I have a Hand Made Antique Distressed Baby Doll Carriage. This piece was made to resemble an authentic Victorian style pram, using iron, wicker, wood, and cloth, along with techniques to create a vintage"aged" look! The basket measures 14" long by 7" wide by 6" deep. Black cloth and wicker accents adorn the outer basket. The wood wheels are spoked and lined with iron. The wheels do turn! The wheels are mounted to the carriage by bent iron. The stroller handle, mounted with iron also, has a fancy wood turning. The iron framed bonnet folds up or down. It consists of black cloth that has gotten quite delicate from the aging technique and age itself. Its seams look to have been glued to its frame in spots, but looks nice! Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Doll 30's 40's - Vintage Old Stroller
This was my grandmothers from the 30's. It has been in their home for years and is in great condition considering the age. The wicker shows very well. Only one spot of scratches as shown. Rubber and hubcaps are still on all of the wheels. It does have some surface rust as expected. One of the plastic windows has cracked and is broken out. This would make a great decorator piece.
