The seat itself is still in tact, I just want to mention it is weathering.it is a thin type of wood or wicker and is raising(weathering) It is not broken or cracked, however there is a small gap on one side~which you can see in the one pic(zoom in) and it will be the left side of your view. It looks as though that was the way it was made~to me. The thin black tires are worn down in spots, revealing the wire/metal that makes the wheel. The back of the buggy/carriage folds down(shown in picture) the front foot resting raises as well. In pausing to check over the buggy, to ensure the description is to the best of my ability~I have just discovered that the buggy folds up entirely.as if you are folding a stroller. Since I cannot add another picture without deleting one~if you are interested in this item, I will gladly send the picture of it folded to your email. The handle to push the buggy is weathered. It due to it's age naturally has the fading or rubbed down spots of the wood, markings, a couple slight cracks(not open) The wicker on the sides of this item, has only a couple little pieces of wicker missing(in two spots& they are not big) It's a beautiful piece, however keep in mind that it's still fragile. It's no longer crisp fresh wicker/wood. The coloring is fading/weathering throught the whole buggy~naturally giving it, it's antique unique look. These two items are as they were for years~together. For as long as I can remember this very interesting doll, sat in this buggy. These are pieces from my late Grandmother's doll collection. I have decided to not seperate them, they are sold as a pair. High end antique collector that fell in love with items from the 1800's and this was one of her prize poscessions. Would be perfect to display an antique baby doll in! Inside seat measures 9 inches across and 8 inches deep. Has a layer of black. Worn leather lined. Wicker measures about 13 inches across from side to side top and about 11 inches deep. 13 inches tall from the floor to the center back of the wicker top. Wheels are about 8 inches round with the little back wheels to help prevent tipping are 1.5 inches round Pull handle extends about 22 inches long when it is placed to be straight. Fold back into the seat at about 16 inches for the baby to hold. I cannot find any types of"maker markings" No chips with some edge rubbings here and there. Wicker shows some pull with a few strips popped out a bit. Little pillow seat included. Not sure if it is an original but it sure matches the style with little tastles along the bottom in an off white, cream color showing a few age spots. This darling items deserves a loving home! It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. The undercarriage is metal with some old green paint and maybe some white pin striping.not sure. The parasol holder is on the handle. THERE ARE 25+ PICTURES PLEASE CHECK ALL OF THEM! Here is a beautiful antique primitive 1800s wicker and metal baby carriage. Buggy or pram. Measuring 44" long, 36" high and 18" wide, condition is excellent considering the age, with normal age patina on the metal, and typical aging of the rubber on the wheels. The wicker appears to be in remarkably wonderful shape with no holes or other visible issues. There are remnants of a sticker on the bottom which may have identified the manufacturer; however nothing really remains of any use in identifying the maker. Please e-mail any questions. The metal is bent a little and the handle bars where they attach to the wood on bottom are missing one square nut. The metal brackets that hold the hood on are bent. It has some of the original cloth in obvious tattered condition. The end folds down. The wicker on the sides are in pretty good shape and would make good replacement panels for another buggie. Here is an antique wicker baby doll carriage. It has a sticker on its underside that says Meinecke Milwaukee. From the internet search. I gathered that Meineke founded a toy store there in 1855, followed by a willow factory where they among others goods, made carriages. Measures 28" tall, 24" long and generally 10" wide( top is a little wider) Steel frame with wooden handle and rubber treads. Has the adjustable back where baby can lie down more fully. Please scroll to see all photos and ask questions if I missed some detail. Thanks! CONDITION: There are a few spots where the wicker has breaks. Paint wear on the metal frame and on wooden handle. Rubber treads have seen better days but it rolls smoothly and with ease. This wicker stroller is awesome! It's got loads of charm! This wicker part of the stroller measures 19" x 9" As a whole it's 27" tall and 25" from end to end. It's fully functioning and great for dolls. Pets, babies or for a prop. It's in excellent condition given it's age. I'm guessing it was made in the 1930s. Local pick up is preferable on this piece. But I will assist in shipping if you'd like to make arrangements. There is a Grayhound station in town and that's often the cheapest way to transport items of this relative size. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. ANTIQUE LLOYD WICKER CAR SEAT BABY CARRY DOLL BUGGY CARRIAGE
This is an antique child/baby seat made by Lloyds Loom Co. I anticipate it to be turn of the century and used to transport babies in wagons or the new-fangled automobiles. It is about 28" long. It has an adjustable handle on the back to adjust the front valence. Canopy also adjusts with wing nuts. Wicker is in excellent condition- one wear spot on the canopy and a few slightly frayed ends. Some rust in the steel base and one wood cross member appears to have been replaced. It has a leather strap with"Lloyd" tooled in the middle. The end snap pulled through so I glued it with some VLP cement. I will ship in as small of box as I can which will mean taking off the canopy so some assembly will be required. Antique victorian baby carriage originally. Now I would use it for large dolls. The name of the carriage is the"Kensington" Pat'd. July 5th. 1875. It was made by S.Charles Bros. 11-10 B'way. N.Y. It measures 37 1/2" long, including the handle it measures 51" long. It is 24 1/2" wide, and 35" tall. The body is wicker. The bottom is wood. The wheels are wood with metal bands around the edges. The four center caps of the wheels are brass. The handle is wood with brass finial ends. There is a wood plaque on each end of the carriage to attach an umbrella on either top or bottom. An oval plaque with the name of the carriage is mounted on either end. There are two metal rings on each side of the wicker edge to hold a cover or blanket with clips. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. A very nice woman recently reached out to me with this information about the carriage. She said that she found an article about the carriage in Country Living on collecting and ... morethey said the carriage was made from various parts at different times. The wheels late 19th century. And the head first part of 20th century. The wire and wooden handle and the oval straw basket were made in late 20th century. Even though it may be a marriage of different parts, it is eye catching and has appeal to collectors with a value of $750.00. Even though this carriage is very old. And the one ear has been repaired, it is otherwise in amazing condition! This buggie would be the perfect accessory for anyone who is a doll collector. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Pram Buggy 1940s Original From Germany
This is a vintage wicker baby carriage/ pram/ stroller that is convertible! As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. It is in great condition for its age. The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The handle can be undone and repositioned so as to stroll the baby from either direction. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel hub caps and fenders have some rust issues as you can see from the photographs. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. Local Pickup only or arrange for your own shipping at your own cost.

Antique Wicker Baby Carriage; Hedstrom Union 1920s
Up for auction is a lovely wicker doll carriage manufactured by the Hedstrom Union Co. This"doll buggy" belonged to my mother when she was a little girl; she was born in 1921 so my guess is that this dates to about 1925"ish" The Hedstrom company joined with Union in 1922 so that makes sense. It's in great condition. I remember it just lived in the attic when I was a little girl and that's kind of where it has been for 80+ years! The wicker is in very nice condition. The rubber on the wheels is very hard. Understandably, but no huge chunks missing. The metal framework shows age in terms of paint condition, but no broken spokes or bent frame. The top pivots back and forth and there are small"windows" on each side. Neither of my daughters is interested in keeping this and I'm trying to downsize so I'm ... moreready to let it go. I thought about using it as a planter outside, but it would just get ruined. Perhaps the right person can use it for a display or a prop. The company was formed(see info. below) in 1915, and merged with the Union Company in 1922. It still has a partial label on the bottom of the seat, as well as a decal on the frame. It will make a great display piece, as is, or an excellent restoration project. The carriage is a Cadillac of the times.It has a wicker basket, with two windows, and also features levered brakes, seat and foot adjusters, spring"shocks" adjustable cover, and lined inside. There is no mattress or cushion. The label on the seat bottom is partially torn. But Hedstrom can be clearly seen, along with the number 211, which could be a model. This is an Antique"Gendron" of Toledo Ohio. A very Large Wicker Baby Carriage. It measures 56" Long x 40.5" Tall x 20.5" wide at the wheels. The basket area measures 22" x 45" x 20" It is in amazing condition considering the age. There are a few wicker issues, at one side, near the top in a spot(see pic) and the upright supports that attach to the wood base are separate in areas(see pic) The original rubber on the wheels has rotted away and a rubber replacement was added at some point in the past and electrical tape was used to hold it on(see pic) This comes from an old old estate, a 90 year old gentleman who had a photography studio. The cover is reversible from side to side with the original securing fasteners. Sadly. I no longer have the room for this item. The new owner can keep the dated cover and bedding(vintage embroidery) or have it restored to pristine condition. There are a few stains on the cover that show its age, but it is a wonderful piece! I used this buggy with my last two children. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. A few of the brads look like replacements. One of the hinges is missing a screw. Which is a simple repair. The plastic windows in the upper part of the carriage are clear and intact. The end panel drops down for the"baby" to lie flat. The brake works. Has some wear, is dusty, and needs a good cleaning. This is an antique. Victorian, full size wicker pram. Pram made of metal and wicker. With canvas seat. Rolls smoothly. The wicker weave has loosened up a bit and may need to be re-attached at edges, rubber wheels have a few cracks, the curved area where the child's feet rest is coming loose, you can see the nails up above where it was attached to, and may need to be re-attached. I will be removing the handle for shipping and my husband said that the bolts will probably break when I remove them, so be aware that those 4 bolts may not be original, I don't know yet. Please keep in mind that I don't know a lot about this type of item. But I have tried to describe it accurately. It is approx 28" long, 21" wide and 28" tall not including the handle. The wheels and frame is made of metal; the handle is wood; the carriage is stained wicker; the bedding is blue flowered cotton fabric over soft stuffing; the hood is metal with heavy black fabric. The cover can fold and unfold; the wheels can move round and round. It is very sturdy. But a bit dusty. It came from an estate sale. I don't see any problems with the wicker. The bedding is not removable. It is a bit heavy and even though a small doll could take a ride in this carriage or buggy, I think it is more of a display item.
