It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. It is in as-found condition and could use a bit of restoration or you could leave it just as is and it would make a wonderful display stroller for old bisque dolls or old teddy bears. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. The original cushions are in the stroller. Easily removed. There is only one side cushion. There is additional vintage brown corduroy fabric to recover the cushions and make the side cushion that is missing. 2 yards and 25 inches to be exact. This would be wonderful with antique dolls. ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE BUNNY RABBIT BABY DOLL BUGGIE SO UNIQUE AND QUITE RARE! The wheels are iron as are the bars that go up to the wood handle. The body of the buggie is hard wicker and wood. The body of the bunny head is very heavy and I believe to be carved wood. The material inside the buggie must be cotton. But it has a stiffer feel. The fabric has some light staining, but there are no tears or holes. The lace is all in one piece with no rips or tears. Measures 24" long from the tip of the nose to the handle. Measures 21 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the handle. The body of the buggie measures 9" wide. The wood handle measures 9" wide. Antique Child or Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy Pram Cart in Oak and Metal MINT
You are bidding on a unique carriage. Buggy or cart for a child or doll that is Victorian or Edwardian in style. The carriage is in excellent shape. The carriage is made of wood(oak) and iron. It has two adorable red spoke wheels and an oak handle decorated with inscribed lines. The handle also fold and has a locking system. The seats and cushion are also in red with gold trim. The seat has a leather strap with a picture of a young child and the seat itself has a reversible back so the child can sit facing either way. The cushion on the seat says" E-Z Go" in gold letters. This is a great looking and solidly made carriage or buggy. This carriage appears to have a kind of spring system to cushion the ride. It is in surprisingly good shape considering its age: the wheels and"tire" are good and the wood and leather are in ... morenice shape. The paint is mostly there although there is some crazing. There seems to be one small slat of wood missing on the side. I may be able to supply a properly sized piece of oak(I remember making one a while back. But never used it as the carriage looks fine the way it is- I may be able to find it) I am shipping this taken apart: 6 bolts;two that hold the handle and 4 that hold the seat. It is easy to put back and I will supply instructions. I can ship it together. But the cost would be almost 3 times as much because the box is over sized. These 4 brand new replacement wheels(for either doll or baby buggy/stroller/carriage) these were in the original box that they were mailed in when I got them but the box was completely falling apart so I do not have it- I would guess these to be over 50 years old because the former owner's only daughter is over 60 years old. The name'Chris Kaye Madison. Ill. 4751' is on the wheels. They are rubber and plastic but heavy thick plastic, they feel like metal but a magnet will not stick to them. The greenish part is exactly 3 1/4" across and with the rubber, they are a little over 4 1/4" They are very pretty with no scratches. Package will be a little over 2 pounds. Very cool antique doll stroller. Circa late 1800's or early 1900's. It's obviously seen its best days. But it's a survivor. Looks like it's all complete. Would look great as is or you could restore it. Wheels spin freely. The top opens and closes, but could use some oil. Obviously the top is in bad shape, but at least it's still there. Same for the interior. The biggest"flaws" are the screws coming off at the bottom where they screw into the wood and the rubber on the tires has deteriorated on most of the tires. What a pleasure it is to offer this authentic Baby Doll Stroller with it's original factory stamped number(F418) all original paint and the original SOUTH BEND TOY COMPANY sticker still intact. There is a canopy but it looks too large for this stroller. But it is an original stroller canopy with all the original period hardware. Unless the wood has swelled out it's not for this stroller but comes with it in this auction just in case! Appears to be original paint. 65% of original factory sticker still there. Wicker has come unravelled. The length is there to be re-rushed. the wheels will need a little work, But they are all there and attached with the original caps.

Am listing this item for the Owner of the Antique Center. It measures approx. 36 1/2" tall by 43 1/2" long by 22" wide. The seat is 13" by 14" wide. The back of the seat is 15 1/4" high by 12" wide. The neat thing is that although the fabric has been nicely redone. It comes with a box where the original fabric, for both the carriage and the parasol, was stored in, to leave no doubt of its age. This item will be hard to pack and ship. So it will definitely have to be either picked up at Mount Vernon Antique Center here in Alexandria, or it will have to go via freight, we recommend TSC Moving, but keep in mind they can take from 2-8 weeks to deliver, depending on location and driver's schedule. This is a very old antique baby doll buggy. I'm not sure of its age.it is mostly constructed of wood and canvas lining and top shade. The bottom has a hinged section in case you want to change over to sitting position.the base needs to be screwed back into the bed part.then the foot piece.to be put back in.place. it is much easier and less costly to ship like this.just a little tlc!

It is in pretty good condition for it's age and would display beautifully! The celluloid window is missing and the rubber on one wheel is worn but the wicker is intact. Antique Victorian(late 1800's) wood doll carriage with metal side pieces. A leather type hood/canopy and wooden handle. all appear to be original parts. The hood/canopy has some tears due to the age of the item(see photos) The back of the canopy has a lovely oval window and the back flap rolls up with ties(see photos) Wood body is painted a light green color and has stenciled design 12 inch 8 spoke wooden wheels on the back and 8 1/2 inch 6 spoke wooden wheels on the front. Antique Black Wicker Baby Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy. Steel Wheels& Frame Stroller measures approximately 35"H x 15"W x 32"L. It is tagged Travers Manufacturing Co. The stroller is made of wicker with a metal frame. Wheels and attachments. There is some general wear from use. The wicker is in good shape and the metal shows no signs of having been bent. The cloth is discolored from age and has pulled from the wicker in a couple of places. The brakes lock good and work as they should(see pic) There is a matching cushion for the base that I have not pictured. But is included. I do not have it with me at this time.
