I couldnt believe that something this old could have been kep in such beautiful condition all these years. It looks as though it was lovingly covered and stored for over 50 years. Even the shade cover I discovered in thhe front compartment appears to have never been used! The original chrome'fenders' are shiny and bright! This easily converts from a buggies to a stroller. The label reads Europe Import Co. Detroit. My asking price reflects the fine original condition but of course I'm always open to a good offer so don't be shy! I would equate this buggie to a low milage garaged 50's automoblie discovered after years of hibernation. It measures roughly 35"L x 34"T x 19" W. This is not a doll stroller. It has rolled sides and so me scrolls. Could use some glue on the back rest but the wicker itself is in remarkable condition considering how old it is and having n e ver been painted. The cushions are old and filled with excelsior. Obvioiusly. This old buggy is not perfect so please buy it as shown. It is really quite impressive in person and quite large. Rough measurements are about 45" long. 20" wide, 35" to top of handle. The back wheels are a big 22" in diame ter and the front wheels are 14" The wheels roll freely and smoothly. Up for auction is a vintage Taylor Tot baby stroller. This was saved from a scrap metal clean-up. So it is lacking a few of its original parts. The wheels are worn but all are intact. The rubber bumper is in place, although age and wetness has caused it to harden. The wooden seat is in very good condition. The netting/metal around the back of the seat is also in remarkably good condition. We have had a couple folks make offers on this one when it came into the shop. We have decided to list it here. Though; it should make a unique display piece for the right person. We would advise against placing a toddler in it. Shipping is going to be a bit tricky. But we will figure something out. We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. Charming old baby carriage. Made by Lloyds. It still has Lloyds name plate. Was in Great Aunt's attic for 70 years accumumlating dust and dirt. Talking to several people, I was advised not to try and clean. Other then the wicker being dirty, there does not seemed to be any breaks and wicker seems very tight. Handle folds for easy storage. Went to the internet and talked to a expert. He said it was made around turn of century. Several knowledgeable people have said that if this piece was never used and still wrapped, it could go as high as $1000.00. It is missing the 10&1/2" wheels. A dealer said they where wire spoked with rubber tires. The rear wheels are correct, for going up and down stairs. I have searched the internet, and have not seen any like this one. I will deliver up to 300 miles for a fee.

I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. I’ve acquired antique pedal car. Tractor and etc parts from an estate. I’m leaning towards a baby carriage on these. The tire diameter is approx. 9 3/8 inches with a width of 7/8 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 8 1/2 inches. The wheel is approx. 2 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 12 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels incorporate plastic bushings and ride on a 3/8 inch axle. As the photos show. There is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. WELCOME TO MY AUCTION For sale today is a real neat antique or vintage wooden baby walker. This old walker will fold down for transporting. It has a circular wooden top and wooden tray and a metal foot rest. The ring is made of hard wood. The seat is of heavy cloth and still in good shape, the seat is threaded onto a heavy wire ring mounted just under the top wooden ring. The ring is mounted in three places and the cloth is a little frayed where it was cut and sewed for the connecting. The tray is attached to the wooden ring. Has a little rabbit decal, the tray has some damage to the surface, there is a picture of the tray included. The frame measures 18”X23” and will fold down flat to about 4” Has steel wheels on it. Needs one lower arm rivet replaced, comes off sometimes when folding the walker. I see no name on this nice walker. It is ... morein good shape for the years. What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Beautiful piece for display or use. These models notoriously collapse when used unless being pushed and stand up on their own with side locks when standing without movement. Also fold down very nicely. Chrome is in exceptional shape. The only flaws are shown in the photos including a slightly slipping seam(pictures on the corner hardly able to see it at all) and the stitching that came undone on the corner of the canopy. EXCELLENT SHAPE. At first I thought it was a replica but when I looked closer. It was clearly the original. White wheels, no issues. The Genuine Taylor Tot Antique Vtg. Metal/Wood Baby Stroller - Restoration/Parts
I have here another rare find! It’s The Genuine Taylor Tot Stroller made by the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. The wheels are signed) I don’t know what year this model is. But it looks to be more complete than many I’ve seen. It does have the metal foot tray which I know is hard to find these days. It also came with some sort of collapsible canopy which I’ve not seen before. I’m assuming it goes with this stroller– but I haven’t figured out how to attach it. So it’s possible something is missing(parts or simply know-how) that would make attaching it feasible. The zipper on the canopy does work. Though. The stroller also has all 4 wheels and they function just fine. And it has its original wood seat. Please note the fabric is just about worn to a frazzle. I had more pictures– but I couldn’t include them all because I exceeded the maximum# ... moreallowed. But there are rips and tears in it. The staples have pulled out in several places, and, of course, it’s very faded. The chrome is surprisingly in pretty good shape. The stroller does fold up to an extent. I tried to show this in my pictures. But I don’t know if it folds up anymore than you see pictured– or if I just didn’t know what I was doing. That technique might take some practice. J This would certainly be a fantastic piece to restore or to use for parts in your other restorations. You choose. Two antique / vintage baby stroller carriage, pedal car wagon tires & wheels 18"
This auction is for a set of two large antique/ vintage baby stroller carriage. Pedal car, toy car or wagon tire and wheels. Obviously, I do not know what it fits, yet I’m leaning towards wagon or pedal car. The tire diameter is approx. 18 inches with a width of 1 1/4 inch. The diameter of the rim or wheel is approx. 16 inches. The wheel is approx. 3 inches wide measured at the axle. There are 32 spokes with each one checked for breakage. The wheels ride on a 1/2 inch axle. As the photos show, there is some rust requiring clean up and repaint. The tires have Puncture Proof and Clipper with 18 x 1 embossed on the side. The tires have occasional nicks in them. One tire is split at the factory seam. An old timer told me it could be reglued, soaked in warm water to swell it up and reinstalled back on the rim. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy, Earth Brown, 1950s
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. On my way back, feeling better and a bit silly, I immediately noticed the seat area seemed blurry somehow, as if it was out of focus. I reached down into the seat area and my hand felt chilly air. I quickly pulled my hand back, then got my courage up and tried it a few times more to be sure- the same chill everytime. Now I was really getting uneasy and my skin was crawling. I moved the sulky into the garage and haven't noticed any more odd phenomenon since. Who knows the true history of whatever might have happened to this piece in its long history. Antique baby doll stroller, carriage. Very nice, ornate and well built.
Up for sale is a beautiful antique baby stroller/carriage. It`s mainly constructed of wicker. But there is some metal integrated in it as well. The wheels mimic the old style wagon wheels. This is more intricate and built better than most other strollers. The only damage to this piece is with a piece of wicker that has flexed but NOT snapped all the way through. I have tried to capture it the best I could in the last pic. The stroller is about 25 inches tall and 26 inches wide. The wheels spin freely and are attached good.nothing flimsy. I have put a bear in it with a helmet for scale. This would make a good addition to any doll collection. Any photographer could use this as a prop as well. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

This particular pram was manufactured by Coronet. This fantastic baby doll pram is a jewel. The outside of the bed is a colonial blue with white design trimming and accents. The inside of the bed is white. The hood is the same blue as the bed and white. On both sides of the bed is a royal silver emblem that has a crown in the center flanked on either side by protective mystical creatures. A very regal emblem. The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The baby doll carriage has a hood that protects baby from the outside elements. ... moreThis hood also has the ability to be put down and to lay flat. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This item would make a great addition to any baby doll Pram collection. Vintage Wicker Pram Welcome! This pram is at least 40 years old. The owner received it for her child that long ago and said it was old then so perhaps it is antique. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Glides and turns smoothly, etc. It is very sturdy and was well made and will collapse for easy storage. It has a very faint smell of smoke to it from having been stored in a smoker's home; otherwise it is very clean. Since I have acquired it, I have noticed much of the odor has dissipated. A beautiful baby doll buggy made in the Amish Country of Illinois. I bought three of these back in the 1980's. Just sold the small one. This is the large one and I've also a medium sized one that I'm keeping. They are made of canvas, wood and metal. Very solid, sturdy and extremely well made. This large one has no issues or concerns. The handle to push the buggy is slanted and that's how it was when I bought it. It does roll w/o a problem. The bonnet can be moved up and down, but would need to be oiled. I used this for displaying numerous decorative items over the years~bears, dolls, Christmas bulbs, wrapped gifts, etc. I've also seen these used for holding toilet tissue and soaps in Victorian bathrooms. Very versatile.
