You are bidding on an antique frosted and etched window which was purchased at architectural salvage a number of years ago and is probably from the turn of the century. The outside dimensions are 29" x 15" x 2" while the window portion measures 24" x 11" The pattern is diamond shaped with vines swirling through it. The painted brown outside portion is crackled while the inside is bare wood. The window frame has one side measuring 1 1/2" high and the other 2 7/8" The wood was sanded on one side and there is no decayed or rotting wood. The etching is all intact with no chips or cracks. U. Classic Dual-Arch, with Iron Horizontal bar supports in each half. Original White Paint. Very Chippy, and/or gone. SIZE: Approx 56" long. 36 1/2" High, 1 7/8" thick. Nice and sturdy Though quite large. It is manageable for 1 person, and with correct fasteners, can easily hang on a wall. CONDITION: I took a close up of one area at bottom. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors. Staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
